Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(23):3193-3194
Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of TURP combined with TUVP in treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. MethodsTURP and TUVP were used to treat 124 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. ResultsThe bleed during the operation was limited. The IPSS,QOL and RUV were significantly improved after operation. ConclusionTURP combination with TUVP was safe and effective method in treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
2.Influencing factors of life quality in lung cancer patients
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(6):447-449
Clinical studies show that the factors that impact the quality of life (QOL) in patients with lung cancer are comprehensive.Physiological factors include breathing difficulties,cancer-related fatigue.Depression, anxiety and other psychological factors also play a major role.Social and family support is also crucial to improve the QOL in patients with lung cancer.
3.Study of streptococcus pneumonia capsular polysaccharide antibodies in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2012;35(28):27-29
ObjectiveTo study streptococcus pneumonia capsular polysaccharide antibodies of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) in acute exacerbation and the feasibility of vaccination for patients with COPD.MethodsThe COPD in acute exacerbation without respiratory failure (RF)(COPD without RF group),COPD in acute exacerbation with RF (COPD with RF group),asthma (asthma group),healthy elderly examination(elderly examination group) and healthy youth examination (youth examination group) were selected, and each group had 15 cases. The levels of streptococcus pneumonia capsular polysaccharide antibodies IgG,IgM and IgA were measured in all groups. Results There was no significant difference in IgG among the five groups (P > 0.05 ).The levels of IgM in COPD without RF group and elderly examination group were significantly lower than those in COPD with RF group, asthma group and youth examination group (0.554 ± 0.309 and 0.538 ± 0.327 vs.0.810 ± 0.387,0.887 ± 0.278 and 0.852 ± 0.305,P < 0.05 ).Although the level of IgA in COPD without RF group was significantly lower than that in youth examination group(0.532 ±0.297 vs.0.930 ±0.502,P <0.05),there was no significant difference among the five groups. Conclusion Patients with COPD should inoculate pneumococcal vaccination.
4.Progress on the thyroid hormone receptor gene mutation and its downstream pathways associated with tumor
China Oncology 2009;19(10):802-806
Signaling pathways such as MAPK and P13K have been confirmed to be important in the mechanism of tumor genesis, development, prevention and treatment. Thyroid hormone (TH) and its receptor (TR) can affect the pathways resulting in inhibition of tumor growth and metastasis, thus they have gradually become the focus of recent research. However, numerous studies showed that TR gene mutation was often observed in a variety of cancers and resulted in the deregulation of TH/TR mediated downstream pathways, and TR gene mutation became an causative agent to activate downstream proto-oncogene. Recent studies showed that TH/TR might play a role in the regulation of β-catenin degradation, the knowledge of which allows us not only to further understand the function of TR gene in the inhibition of tumor development, but also provide a theoretical basis for the continuous activation of downstream proto-oncogene by TR mutation. To study the downstream pathway of TR gene could eventually guide the clinician and provide a new theoretical basis for cancer prevention and molecular target gene therapy.
5.Research Status of Artificial Joint Materials
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2009;32(4):247-250
With the improvement of living standard, the requirement of artificial joint material is ever increasing. The development of meted artificial joint, high polymer artificial joint and ceramic-made artificial joint, which are widely used in joint replacement, are introduced. Advantages and disadvantages of these materials are discussed, as well as the required improvement to these three materials. Development on metal-to-metal hip resurfacing arthroplasty and its clinical application is introduced. Now that no material with good biocompatibility, good biomechanical compatibility, good biological aasociativity and satisfied life-span has yet been found, compound material artificial joint may be the focus of the research in future.
8.Effects of Continuous Nursing Quality Improvement on the Emergency Care of Parturient with Preeclampsia
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(11):145-148
Objective To investigate the effects of continuous nursing quality improvement on emergency care of parturient with preeclampsia. Methods The parturient with preeclampsia in the First Affiliated Hospital of the Medical University Of Anhui from January 2010 to December 2015 were chosen. The effects of continuous nursing quality improvement on the emergency care of those parturient were analyzed and the maternal and infant health outcomes and patient satisfaction were contrasted. Results The surgical complication rate of the observation group patients was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.001).The overall health outcome of maternal and infant patients in the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.000) Patient satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.000)Conclusion Continuous nursing quality improvement model can not only ensure the quality of eclampsia patient care but also keep on improving the care quality so as to improve maternal and infant health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
9.Using the balanced scorecard to implement hospital strategic management
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1998;0(11):-
The balanced scorecard, a new performance management tool used by enterprises, transcends the traditional assessment method of measuring an enterprise only from the financial perspective and renders it possible to view an enterprise simultaneously from four perspectives: financial, customer, internal process, and learning and growth. The balanced scorecard, which can also be used in the medical and health field, enables the hospital to continuously improve performance so as to realize its vision and strategic goals. The paper gives an account of the concept, development steps and principles of the balanced scorecard and its application in hospital strategic management, thus identifying a new channel for hospital development.
