2.Progress on the thyroid hormone receptor gene mutation and its downstream pathways associated with tumor
China Oncology 2009;19(10):802-806
Signaling pathways such as MAPK and P13K have been confirmed to be important in the mechanism of tumor genesis, development, prevention and treatment. Thyroid hormone (TH) and its receptor (TR) can affect the pathways resulting in inhibition of tumor growth and metastasis, thus they have gradually become the focus of recent research. However, numerous studies showed that TR gene mutation was often observed in a variety of cancers and resulted in the deregulation of TH/TR mediated downstream pathways, and TR gene mutation became an causative agent to activate downstream proto-oncogene. Recent studies showed that TH/TR might play a role in the regulation of β-catenin degradation, the knowledge of which allows us not only to further understand the function of TR gene in the inhibition of tumor development, but also provide a theoretical basis for the continuous activation of downstream proto-oncogene by TR mutation. To study the downstream pathway of TR gene could eventually guide the clinician and provide a new theoretical basis for cancer prevention and molecular target gene therapy.
3.Effect of Mcl-1 siRNA on TRAIL-induced apoptosis in gastric cancer cells
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2016;51(1):47-51
Objective To explore the effect of Mcl-1 small interference RNA ( siRNA) on tumor necrosis factor-re-lated apoptosis-inducing ligand ( TRAIL)-induced apoptosis in gastric cancer HGC-27 cells. Methods The apop-totic rates of cells treated with TRAIL and pan-caspase inhibitor ( z-VAD-fmk) alone or combination were measured by propidium iodide (PI) method using flow cytometry. The activation of caspase-3, cleavage of PARP-1, as well as the protein level of anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 proteins Bcl-2, Bcl-XL and Mcl-1 before and after TRAIL treatment were monitored by Western blot analysis. Transfection of Mcl-1 siRNA was performed using Lipofectamine 2000 reagent. The efficiency of gene silencing was quantified by Western blot and the effect of Mcl-1 siRNA on TRAIL-induced apoptosis was measured using PI method. Results HGC-27 cells were resistant to TRAIL-induced apoptosis, and z-VAD-fmk pretreatment could block apoptosis nearly completely. Activation of caspase-3 and cleavage of PARP-1 occurred in the late stage of apoptosis. The expression levels of Bcl-2, Bcl-XL and Mcl-1 were not altered after exposure to TRAIL. Transfection with Mcl-1 siRNA could obviously downregulate the expression evel of Mcl-1 in HGC-27 cells and enhanced the sensitivity of cells to TRAIL-induced apoptosis. Conclusion Overexpression of Mcl-1 may account for the resistance of HGC-27 cells to TRAIL.ownregulationof Mcl-1 by siRNA can effectively enhance the sensitivity of HGC-27 cells to TRAIL-induced apoptosis.
4.Progress in correlation of long non-coding RNA with breast cancer invasion and metastasis
Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;43(5):566-569
Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA) is a group of functional RNA molecules, which is more than 200 nucleotides in length and lacks ability of encoding protein. The current study indicates that the abnormal expression of lncRNA is closely related with breast cancer progression. Some lncRNA takes part in regulating the process of breast cancer invasion and metastasis. This article reviews the abnormal expression of lncRNA in breast cancer and the relevance with breast cancer invasion and metastasis, which is expected to provide new strategy for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
5.Research Status of Artificial Joint Materials
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2009;32(4):247-250
With the improvement of living standard, the requirement of artificial joint material is ever increasing. The development of meted artificial joint, high polymer artificial joint and ceramic-made artificial joint, which are widely used in joint replacement, are introduced. Advantages and disadvantages of these materials are discussed, as well as the required improvement to these three materials. Development on metal-to-metal hip resurfacing arthroplasty and its clinical application is introduced. Now that no material with good biocompatibility, good biomechanical compatibility, good biological aasociativity and satisfied life-span has yet been found, compound material artificial joint may be the focus of the research in future.
7.Advances in chemotherapy and radiofrequency ablation of colorectal cancer liver metastases
China Oncology 2006;0(10):-
Colorectal cancer has the propensity to develop liver-dominant metastases. In some of these patients, the liver is the only site of metastatic disease. Thus, surgical resection is the mainstay of treatment for liver-only colorectal cancer metastases, which can produce long-term survival in selected patients, but only 10%-20% of patients are suitable for a surgical approach. In this paper we introduced how to transfer the inoperable colorectal liver metastases to operable colorectal liver metastases through improved chemotherapy with /without molecular target therapy and multidisciplinary treatment approaches, and the results of radiofrequency ablation(RFA),which can also produce long-term survival in a subset of patients with colorectal liver metastasis or prolong survival duration.

9.Effects of Continuous Nursing Quality Improvement on the Emergency Care of Parturient with Preeclampsia
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(11):145-148
Objective To investigate the effects of continuous nursing quality improvement on emergency care of parturient with preeclampsia. Methods The parturient with preeclampsia in the First Affiliated Hospital of the Medical University Of Anhui from January 2010 to December 2015 were chosen. The effects of continuous nursing quality improvement on the emergency care of those parturient were analyzed and the maternal and infant health outcomes and patient satisfaction were contrasted. Results The surgical complication rate of the observation group patients was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.001).The overall health outcome of maternal and infant patients in the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.000) Patient satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.000)Conclusion Continuous nursing quality improvement model can not only ensure the quality of eclampsia patient care but also keep on improving the care quality so as to improve maternal and infant health outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Practical Oncology Journal 2015;(4):364-367
The multidrug resistance( MDR) has become one of the key factors in the success of chemo-therapy.Thus,overcoming multidrug resistance of tumor has become a pressing matter of the moment for tumor therapy. The mechanism of MDR is a very complicated process, influenced by many factors. Therefore, the tumor multidrug resistance mechanisms in depth study will help to select more appropriate anti-tumor drugs. In this re-view,we described about MDR mechanisms researching progress in recent years.
