Objective To study the curative effect of arthroscopic debridement in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with moderate-to-severe degenerative cartilage. Methods Arthroscopic knee debridement combined with postoperative rehabilitation exercise was carried out in 17 cases (21 knee joints) of knee osteoarthritis with moderate-to-severe degenerative cartilage. Results The operation time was 55~100 min (mean, 75 min). No surgical complications occurred. The postoperative hospital stay was 15~ 20 days (mean, 13 days). The passive range of motion of the knee joint during the surgery was 0?~120? and the range of motion after the surgery, 0?~110?. Follow-up was conducted for 5~36 months (mean, 21 months). The curative effect was classified as “good” in 6 cases (8 joints), “fair” in 9 cases (11 joints) and “poor” in 2 cases (2 joints). The range of motion of the knee was 0?~ 120?. Conclusions Arthroscopic debridement is an effective option for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with moderate-to-severe degenerative cartilage.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2014;(12):1109-1111
Objective To explore the safety and feasibility of conservative laparoscopic salpingotomy and embryo removal . Methods A total of 24 patients with tubal interstitial pregnancy underwent laparoscopic salpingotomy and embryo removal between January 2012 and January 2014.A longitudinal incision was made on the bulge lesions under laparoscope .The gestational sac and affiliated organizations were removed and the incision was continuously sutured with absorption threads .Results The operation was completed in all the 24 patients. The operation time was ( 33.5 ±6.2 ) min, and the blood loss was ( 40.6 ±9.4 ) ml.No postoperative persistent salpingocyesis occurred .The postoperative serum β-hCG recovery time was (14.2 ±4.6) d.Postoperative hysterosalpingography showed unobstructed fallopian tube in 13 patients, connected but not patent in 4 patients, and blocked in 5 patients. Conclusion Laparoscopic salpingotomy and embryo removal is safe and effective , with the patency of fallopian tube partly retained.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of the lower cervical spine (C3 -C7 ) laminar screw technique for fixing adult posterior cervical spine .Methods We chose 9 formalin fixed moist adult cervical specimens ,which consist of male 6 and female 3 of the age 38 to 63 years old .The average age is 51 .9 years old and the average height is 165 .6 cm .Then we measured the thickness and heightof C3 -C7 lamina ,the lamina length of L1 ,L2 ,and the lamina of axis and the sagittal plane angle .Results The thickness and height of C3 -C7 lamina ,and the lamina length of L1 and L2 of adult male is bigger than adult women .There was statistical sig-nificance between the thickness ,height ,lamina length difference of different genders lamina (P<0 .05) ,but no significant difference between the left and the right (P> 0 .05) .The average lamina thickness of C2 ,C3 ,C4 ,C5 ,C6 ,C7 were respectively 4 .70 ,3 .87 , 3 .30 ,3 .84 and 5 .16 mm .The lamina thickness which was more than 4 .00 mm accounted for 54 .4% .The lamina thickness of C3 , C4 ,C6 ,C7 which was more than 4 .00 mm accounted respectively for 77 .8% ,61 .1% ,33 .3% ,and 88 .9% .Conclusion Crossing laminar screws in cervical spine is feasible in anatomy .The operation can make under direct vision ,and can accurately estimate the screw path length and entry angle .Patients with anatomic abnormalities can be used as an alternative fixation technique or as fixed in the fixed mode fails .So the results can provide a reference for clinical application .

The brown slime inside pipeline of the polluted mineral waters well was analyzed. It was confirmed that the brown slime was a biofilm formed mainly by growth of bacteria contaminant, using microscope analysis. After treated with HCl, the brown crystals and mycelioid matter presented in slimes disappeared. It was verified these were metal deposits. The samples produced Prussia blue deposits by dropping K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl, which proved that the metal deposits were iron compound. Also it was believed the biofilm was produced by growth of iron bacteria, mixed with deposits of iron compound. The iron bacteria have been isolated from the slimes and cultured in the laboratory. The colony on agar plate also produced Prussia blue deposits after treated with K 4Fe(CN) 6 and HCl. The cells form of pure culture was the same as that in the samples by electronmicroscope analysis. Therefore, It indicated that the bacteria on biofilm inside pipeline were iron bacteria mainly.

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2015;35(2):247-249
Hyperlipidemia is an important risk factor of cardio-/cerebrovascular disease, and reducing lipids has become an important project for itsclinical preventing and treating. Western medicine, with its confirmative efficacy and clear mechanism, has played an irreplaceable role. Along with the development of modern medicine, integrative medicine has gradually become a growing trend in regulating blood lipids metabolism. It not only could make up the insufficient power for Chinese medicine in lowering lipids, but also could reduce adverse reactions and economic costs brought by long-term administration of Western medicine. As a modern practitioner of Chinese medicine, we should keep clear that integrative medicine regulating blood lipids metabolism does not mean a simple combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. We should treat it guided by systematic theories. We combine disease identification and syndrome differentiation, guide lipids lowering by integrative medicine including selecting Western drugs for blood lipids lowering, Chinese medical prescriptions for syndrome typing, and effective Chinese herbs based on modern pharmacologies.

This article was aimed to study pretreatment method of styrene type macroporous resin and its application in the industrial production. The organic residues and heavy metals of styrene type macroporous resin were detected respectively by gas chromatography and atomic absorption spectrophotometry before and after pretreatment to optimize the pretreatment process. The results showed that contents of organic residues and heavy metals of styrene type macroporous resin with the preferred method of pretreatment are in line with relevant regulations. It was concluded that this pretreatment method was simple and feasible, which is suitable to be applied in the industrial production.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2005;0(09):-
Objective To identify the correlativity between SCN4A V781I mutation and hypokalemic periodic paralysis(HOKPP).Methods The SCN4A V781I mutation was screened on the members of a hypokalemic periodic paralysis family(including 3 patients and 14 healthy relatives), 71 sporadical hypokalemic periodic paralysis patients and 100 healthy adults with the PCR sequencing and the incision enzyme techniques. Results The mutation existed not only in all the patients but also in 4 healthy relatives, including 1 male and 3 females, in the hypokalemic periodic paralysis family.Seven of 71 sporadieal hypokalemic periodic paralysis patients and 7 of 100 health adults indicated the SCN4A V781I mutation. There was no significant difference in the SCN4A V781I mutation rate between the hypokalemic periodic paralysis patients and the healthy adults(X~2=0.452, P=0.502).Conclusions SCN4A V781I mutation maybe is an innocent polymorphism. There is little correlativity between SCN4A V781I and hypokalemic periodic paralysis.
