Objective Cigarette smoking remains highly prevalent in most countries.It can affect drug therapy by both pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic mechanisms.Correlation between smoking and drugs has been reviewed, and the future study about situation of smoking and drugs also was reviewed.

Objective To investigate the incidence and the relation between pulmonary hypertension (PH) and cardiac output in hemodialysis (HD) patients with PH. Methods The incidence of PH was estimated with Doppler echocardiography in 78 patients receiving HD. Left ventricular ejection fraction, cardiac volume, cardiac output and cardiac index were compared between patients with or without PH. Results PH was found in 20 patients (25.64%), among them15 had mild PH, 4 had moderate PH and 1 had severe PH. There was no statistical difference of ejection fraction, cardiac volume, cardiac output and cardiac index between the two groups. PH was not related to cardiac output. Conclusion HD can lead to PH, but cardiac output can not result in PH. Further investigations about the effect of elevated cardiac output induced by internal arteriovenous fistula and other factors on PH are needed.

Objective To Evaluate the efficacy and safety of Qingre-Huoxue Recipe ( QHR ),Qingre -Huoxue Recipe and Methotrexate(QHR+MTX) in improving clinical symptoms of dampness-heat and blood-stasis syndrome of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods According to multi-center,randomized,and control intervention design,142 RA patients were randomly divided into QHR group (71 cases) and QHR+MTX group (71 cases).With clinical symptoms as evaluation indexes,FAS set and PP set were adapted for analysis.Results FAS set analysis:Both groups can significantly reduce pain VAS score [ (4.82 ± 1.98) vs (4.31 ± 1.85) ],reduce tenderness and swollen joint number[(4.87±4.05)vs(4.20±3.36)、(8.72±6.24)vs(7.14±5.03)respectively],shorten morning stiffness [ (39.56 ± 46.68) min vs (36.65 + 42.58) min] and significantly reduce the symptoms of fatigue[ (4.13 ±2.34) vs (3.74 ±2.20) ],also with good security.But there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion Qingre-Huoxue Recipe with MTX had no significant advantage in improving clinical symptoms in patients with the dampness-heat and blood-stasis syndrom of RA than without MTX.

Objective To investigate the expression and role of costimulatory molecule 4-1BB on T cells of patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Metheds The expression of 4-1BB on T lymphocytes from 30 RA patients and 20 healthy controls were detected by flow cytometry.Results The expression of 4-1BB on CD4~+T and CD8~+T lymphocytes from RA patients was significantly higher than that of normal control(18.56?4.08,10.33?2.13 vs 1.24?0.12,0.87?0.09,P＜0.01).There was more expression of 4-1BB on CD4~+T and CD8~+ T lymphocytes stimulated by anti-CD3 antibody from RA patients(33?4 vs 21?8,P＜0.01).In addition,the ra- tio of CD4~+T/CD8+T in RA patients was higher than that of normal controls and was positively correlated with 4-1BB~+CD4~+T cell.The expression of 4-1BB on CD4~+T in RA patients was positively correlated with the level of ESR and IgA(r=0.476,P＜0.05;r=0.659,P＜0.05).Conclusion The costimulatory molecule 4-1BB is ab- normally expressed in T lymphocytes from patients with rheumatoid arthritis.The abnormal expression of 4-1BB on T lymphocytes may play an important role in the development of RA.The expression of 4-1BB on CD4~+T cell may take part in the inflammation of RA.

Objective:To examine the potential influence factors of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).Methods:A 1∶2 pair-matched, case-control study was conducted from July 2011 to December 2012 .A pair was composed of one AAA patient recruited from the Vascular Surgery Department , Chinese PLA General Hospital and two gender-and age-matched non-AAA subjects , one from the same hospital and the other from the community in Fangshan District in Beijing .Demographic data , medical history and the lifestyle of each subject were collected .Moreover , all the participants underwent abdominal ultra-sound or computed tomography ( CT ) and peripheral venous blood samples were obtained .Results:There were 155 case/control pairs .The multivariate conditional logistic regression model confirmed that suffering from hypertension conferred a 1.98-fold (95%CI 1.12-3.18) increased likelihood of AAA. Smoking was a strong independent risk factor of AAA , with odds ratios ( 95% confidence intervals ) of 5.23 (2.44-11.23).Dyslipidemia(OR=2.61,95%CI 1.45-4.70), a higher level of serum hs-CRP (OR=2.43,95%CI 1.37-4.31) and homocysteine (OR=2.73,95%CI 1.61-4.65) were all asso-ciated with AAA.Conclusion: Hypertension and smoking are the risk factors of AAA .Dyslipidemia, hsCRP and Hcy are associated with AAA .

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of cannabinoid receptor 2 (cannabinoid receptor 2,CB2R) agonist JWHO15 on the hyperalgesia induced by remifentanil in a rat model of postoperative pain.Methods Sixty SD rats were randomly divided into 10 groups ( n =6 each ):control groups ( C1 and C2 ),incisional pain groups (I1 and I2),incisional pain plus JWHO15 groups (QI and FI),remifentanil groups (R1 and R2),and JWHO15 plus remifentanil groups ( QR and FR).Rats in group QL/QR and FI/FR were intrathecal injection with 10μg JWHO15 ( diluted in 10μl 20％ DMSO solution) and intraperitoneal administration with 100μg JWHO15 ( diluted in 10μl 4％ DMSO solution) respectively 30 min before plantar incision while rats in group C,I and R were received with the same volume of DMSO solution.Plantar incision surgery was operated in rats of group I,R,QI/FI,and QR/FR.In group R and QR/FR,remifentanil (0.04 mg/kg) was infused subcutaneously to rats with a pump for 30 min at the moment of surgical incision.The paw withdrawal mechanical threshold (PWMT) and paw withdrawal thermal latency (PWTL) at 24 h before incision and at 2 h,6 h,24 h and 48 h after incision were tested to evaluate the behavioral changes.ResultsCompared with group C and baseline,the level of PWMT and PWTL decreased at 2 h,6 h,24 h and 48h after incision in group Ⅰ (P＜ 0.01 ) ;Compared with group Ⅰ,the significant decrease of PWMT and PWTL were observed after incision in group R (P ＜ 0.05 ) ; Compared with group R,the significant increase of PWMT (7.78 ± 1.09) and PWTL ( 17.28 ± 1.58) were observed from 6 h after incision in group QR(P＜0.05).And the increase of PWMT (7.79 ±0.72,9.50 ± 1.17,7.86 ± 1.16) and PWTL ( 16.23 ± 1.50,19.53 ± 1.63,18.10 ± 0.93) were observed at 6 h,24 h and 48 h after incision in group FR(P＜0.05).ConclusionIntrathecal and intraperitoneal administration of JWHO15 in this investigation dose could relief remifentanil-induced hyperalgesia in a rat model of postoperative pain.

Objective To explore the application of allergen detection in children with recurrent asthma and its clinical signifi‐cance .Methods The clinical data of 524 cases of children with recurrent asthma in this hospital ,from February 2013 to February 2015 ,were retrospectively analysed .According to age ,these children with recurrent asthma were divided into three groups:250 ca‐ses were enrolled into infants group(0- <1 years old) ,150 cases enrolled into cheepers group(1- <3 years old) ,124 cases were enrolled in children group (≥3 years old) .Children in the three groups were treated with allergen detection ,and positive rates and distribution of allergens were compared among three groups .Results The total positive rate of allergen detection was 39 .69%(208/524) .The positive rate of allergen detection was the highest in children group(66 .13% ) ,and the lowest in infants group (24 .00% ) ,and there were statistically significant differences in the positive rates among the three groups(P<0 .05) .The top 3 common allergens were milk ,household dust mite and cat dander .The positive rates of household dust mite and house dust were the highest in children group ,but lowest in infants group ,there were statistically significant differences in the positive rate among the three groups(P<0 .05) .Conclusion Allergen detection is particularly important for children with recurrent asthma ,which not only could quickly find the etiology of asthma and identify children who are susceptible to asthma ,but also provide references for early intervention in childhood asthma .
