The process of late lung development is disturbed in bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).One of the keys in late lung development is secondary septation, in which secondary septa arise from primary septa, producing plenty of small alveoli, which significantly increase the surface area of gas exchange.Secondary septation,together with architectural changes to the vascular structure of the lung which minimize the distance between the blood and the inspired air, are the targets of late lung development.BPD is a disease of premature infants in which development of the alveoli is stunted caused by many factors including volutrauma,inflammation,and oxygen toxicity.Compared with early lung development, the later development of the immature lung remains unclear.This paper is to emphasize remarkable latest research of arrested late lung development and BPD.

Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture plus early rehabilitation training on the function recovery after surgery for cervical spinal cord injury. Methods Sixty patients with cervical spinal cord injury undergone anterior cervical decompression and internal fixation were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by electroacupuncture plus rehabilitation training, while the control group was by rehabilitation training alone. The Frankel’s grading (FG), Barthel Index (BI), and Functional Independence Measure (FIM) were adopted for evaluation before and after intervention. Results The FG was not significantly changed after intervention in both groups (P>0.05). After intervention, there was no significant difference in comparing FG between the two groups (P>0.05). The BI and FIM scores were significantly changed after intervention in both groups (P＜0.01). There were significant differences in comparing BI and FIM scores between the two groups (P＜0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture plus early rehabilitation training can promote the function recovery after surgery for cervical spinal cord injury, and improve the quality of life.

AIM: To discuss the complications and prevention of phacoemulification in primary angle-closure glaucoma after trabeculectomy.
METHODS:Retrospective analysis of 33 cases (37 eyes) phacoemulification in primary angle-closure glaucoma after trabeculectomy in our hospital between January 2008 and June 2012, followed up 12-33mo, intraoperative and postoperative complications were observed.
RESULTS: Compared with pre-operation, intraocular pressure hadn't increased in follow-up 6mo. Iris was injured in 5 eyes, corneal edema was in 14 eyes, anterior chamber inflammation was in 16 eyes, all symptoms were improved in 3-7d. And no case with posterior capsule rupture or vitreous loss.
CONCLUSION: Phacoemulification is an effective way for the treatment of cataract after angle-closure glaucoma trabeculectomy, careful preoperative examination, intraoperative prevention can reduce or avoid the occurrence of surgical complications.

Objective To survey the status and influence factors of radiology department nurses self-protection behavior. Methods The radiology department nurses′self-protection behavior questionnaire compiled by the researchers were used to conduct a questionnaire survey of 100 nurses in different grade hospitals. Results Scores of the item body fluid of patients with contact contaminated were wearing glovesof second-class hospital and third-class hospital were (3.695±0.73) points and (3.73±0.74) points, and there was no statistically significant different between them (P> 0.05). The other items about self-protective behavior of nurses from different levels of hospitals had some differences (t=-4.24-2.43, P<0.05). Conclusions Self-protective behavior of radiology department nurses is affected by many factors. Nursing managers should take effective measures to improve nurses′self-protective consciousness and ability.

Objective To investigate the action mechanism of blood-stage treatment that affects psoriasis vulgaris using observation of the Th17/Treg expression.Methods A total of 32 patients ( blood heat group,n =17 ; blood stasis group,n =15) and 15 healthy people ( control group,n =15 ) were observed.The frequencies of Th17 and Treg in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometric analysis in patients before and after treated by heat-clearing and blood-cooling decoction,qi-enriching and blood-activating decoction.Results The ratio of Th17/Treg in peripheral blood [ blood heat group (4.21 ± 0.52 )％ ;blood stasis group( 3.32 ± 0.43 )％ ] was significantly increased in patients compared with controls [ ( 1.79 ±0.18)％ ] ( P ＜0.01 ).After herbal treatment,the ratio of Th17/Treg expression in the blood heat group [ ( 2.41 ± 0.22 ) ％ ] and in blood stasis group [ ( 2.02 ± 0.12 ) ％ ] was significantly decreased ( P ＜ 0.05 ),respectively.Conclusions Blood-stage treatment works well on Th17/Treg expression in patients with psoriasis vulgaris.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of injectingPSby Scalp needle-induced tra-cheal catheter on treatment of neonatal hyaline membrane disease.Methods 26 cases were chosen as control group who were treated in our hospital NICU department during January,2013 to December,2013;the other 31 cases as improved group during January,2014 to January,2015.After administration therapy of drug,the injection time,chest X-ray and blood gas analysis were researched as observation indexes respectively.Results The amelioration of chest X-ray:29 cases in the improved group and 19 cases in the control group after 48 hours treatment,χ2 =4.457, P=0.035;The amelioration of blood gas analysis:pH:(7.38 ±0.08) in improved group and (7.26 ±0.04) in the control group,t=4.981,P=0.030;PaCO2 (mmHg):(39 ±6) in the improved group and (50 ±10) in the control group,t=5.897,P=0.019;PaO2(mmHg):(77 ±6) in the improved group and (67 ±10) in the control group,t=8.026,P=0.006.Conclusion The therapeutic effect of improved group is obviously better than the control group.

Objective To investigate the mechanisms of tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL) combined with Triptolide in inducing the apoptosis of pancreatic cancer cells.Methods (1) The pancreatic cancer cells (MiaPaca-2 cells) were divided into 4 groups:blank control group (no drugs were added),TRAIL + Triptolide-group (only TRAIL was added),TRAIL-Triptolide + group (only Triptolide was added) and TRAIL+ Triptolide+ group (TRAIL and Triptolide were added).The vitality of cells in all the 4 groups was assessed by CCK-8.The expressions of poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP),cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase-3 (Caspase-3) and Caspase-8 were detected by Western blot.The vitality of cells was detected by CCK-8 and the vitality of Caspase-8 was detected by Caspase-Glo assays after adding Z-IETD-FMK,a specific inhibitor of Caspase-8.The expressions of myeloid cell leukemia-1 (Mcl-1),Bcl-xL and Bcl-2 were detected by Western blot.(2) The MiaPaca-2 cells were divided into 8 groups:①TRAIL-Mcl-1 siRNA-group (no TRAIL was added and Mcl-1 siRNA cells were not transfected),TRAIL+ Mcl-1 siRNA-group (TRAIL was added and Mcl-1 siRNA cells were not transfected),TRAIL-Mcl-1 siRNA + group (TRAIL was not added and Mcl-1 siRNA cells were transfected)and TRAIL+ Mcl-1 siRNA+ group (TRAIL was added and Mcl-1 siRNA cells were transfected).②TRAIL-Bcl-xL siRNA-group (TRAIL was not added and Bcl-xL siRNA was not transfected),TRAIL+ Bcl-xL siRNA-group (TRAIL was added and Bcl-xL siRNA was not transfected),TRAIL-Bcl-xL siRNA + group (TRAIL was not added and Bcl-xL siRNA was transfected) and TRAIL+ Bcl-xL siRNA+ group (TRAIL was added and Bcl-xL siRNA was transfected).The vitality of the cells in all the groups was detected by CCK-8.The expressions of Caspase-3 and Caspase-8 protein were detected by Western blot.The measurement data with normal distribution were presented as (x) ± s.The comparison among groups was done by ANOVA,and the pairwise comparison was done by LSD-t test.Results (1) The vitalities of MiaPaca-2 cells in the blank control group,TRAIL + Triptolide-group,TRAIL-Triptolide + group and TRAIL + Triptolide + group were 100.0％ ± 1.1％,81.2％ ± 145.228,1 738.713,P ＜0.05).The relative expression of Caspase-8 protein of the MiaPaca-2 cells in the TRAIL+ Triptolide +group was significantly different from those in the blank control group,the TRAIL+ Triptolide-group and the TRAIL-Triptolide + group (t =663.953,l 432.878,327.584,P ＜ 0.05).The vitality of caspase-8 in the TRAIL+ Triptolide+ group was 711.0％ ± 5.1％ before adding Z-IETD-FMK,and then the vitality of MiaPaca-2 cells and caspase-8 changed to 70.0％ ± 4.8％ and 73.0％ ± 2.4％,with significant differences (t =17.956,55.027,P ＜ 0.05).The relative expressions of Mcl-1 protein in the blank control group,the TRAIL + Triptolidegroup,the TRAIL Triptolide + group and the TRAIL + Triptolide + group were 1.68 ± 0.22,2.08 ± 0.11,0.73 ±0.15 and 0.58 ± 0.18,the relative TRAIL-Mcl-1 siRNA-group,the TRAIL + Mcl-1 siRNA-group and the TRAIL-Mcl-1 siRNA + group (t =285.788,554.256,190.526,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Triptolide could induce the apoptosis of MiaPaca-2 cells by inhibiting the expressions of Mcl-1 and Bcl-xL,sensitizing TRAIL and activating Caspase-8 and Caspase-3.

Objective To explore the application of bumetanide to inhibition of tumor cell proliferation.Methods In different cell lines, the expression of natrium,kalium, chloride cotransporter 1 ( NKCC1) was detected by Western blotting while the proliferation of different tumor cells was examined by CCK-8 kit.Results The target protein NKCC1 expression in lung cancer cell line ( A549 ) and colorectal cancer cell line ( HCT116 ) was significantly higher than that in chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line (K562), esophageal cancer cell line (Eca109), cervical carcinoma cell line (HeLa), T lymphocytic leukemia cell line (Jurkat) and breast cancer cell line (MCF7).IC50 Values of bumetanide were significantly lower in A549 and HCT116 than in K562, Eca109,HeLa,Jurkat and MCF7.Furthermore, the inhibiory rate and the target protein expression level were positively correlated.Conclusion Bumetanide can inhibit tumor cell proliferation and NKCC1 can serve as a potential target of anticancer drugs.

120 g?L-1. The estimated intraoperative blood loss was 1 000-1 500 ml. The patients were randomly divided into 3 groups ( n = 16 each): group Ⅰ lactated Ringer's solution (LR); group Ⅱ LR-6% HES and group Ⅲ colloid (6% HES). Blood was removed from radial artery after induction of anesthesia. The target Hct was 28% . The volume of blood removed = body weight (kg)?7.5 ? (preop Hct -target Hct) / 0.5?(preop Hct + target Hct). The removed whole blood was replaced with lactated Ringer's solution in a three to one ratio in group Ⅰ or with 6% HES in a one to one ratio in group Ⅲ. In group Ⅱ half of the removed whole blood was replaced with LR and the other half with 6% HES. The EVLW, HR, BP, Cardiac index (CI) and dp/dtmax were monitored by PiCCO and recorded before induction of anesthesia (T0), immediately after induction of anesthesia (T1), immediately after and 15 min after ANH (T2,3), immediately before and after reinfusion (T4,5) . Hct, colloid osmotic pressure and blood gases were also measured and recorded. Results The 3 groups were comparable with respect to M/F ratio, age, body weight and the volume of whole blood removed. MAP, HR, SpO2 and CVP were stable during operation in all 3 groups. Hct was significantly decreased after ANH as compared with the baseline at T0 in all 3 groups. The osmotic pressure was significantly decreased after ANH in group Ⅰ and Ⅱ and was significantly higher in group Ⅱ and Ⅲ than in group Ⅰ after ANH. CI and dp/dtmax were significantly decreased after ANH as compared to the baseline at T0 in all 3 groups. There was no significant difference in EVLW, PaO2 and [ HCO3- ] among the 3 groups. Conclusion Moderate ANH with crystalloid or colloid has little effect on EVLW and oxygenation in patients with normal cardio-pulmonary function.
