1.Value of CT histogram analysis in the diagnosis of primary hepatic carcinoma
Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(10):1733-1735
Objective To explore the application value of CT value histogram in differential diagnosis between primary hepatoma and other space-occupying lesions in liver. Methods From 2012 to 2013,the imaging data in 243 patients with different isolated space-occupying lesions in liver were analyzed retrospectively who underwent both enhanced and unenhanced abdominal CT scans. The lesions were confirmed as hepatic cyst, hepatic hemangioma or primary hepatoma by pathological and other clinical proofs and divided into 3 groups. The histograms of plain scan and post-contrast triphases were drawn respectively using an attached picture-making software.Relevant data of the histograms were analyzed and compared using the SPSS among three groups. Results The CT value histograms of hepatic cysts, hemangiomas and majority of hepatomas presented normal distribution curves.Negative skewness distribution curve was showed in the tumor within necrosis and liquefaction, whereas the positive curve was showed in hepatoma with more calcification. Some significant differences in the Mean,SD,Max,Min,and R values were confirmed. Conclusion Skew-ness distribution curve has a relative high specificity in diagnosis of primary hepatoma. Both dramatic decrease of the Mean value in delayed phase and obvious increase of the R value in plain scan suggest the possibility of primary hepatoma.
2.Therapeutic effects of induced pluripotent stem cells on primary open angle glaucoma
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2017;35(9):773-777
Glaucoma is an group of ocular disease associated with the degeneration of retinal ganglion cells and it finally causes vision loss.Primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) is a main type of glaucoma worldwide. The primary reason of POAG is elevated intraocular pressure (lOP) caused by the degeneration or dysfunction of the trabecular meshwork (TM).Recent studies showed that stem cell-based therapy becomes a promising approach to treat the degenerative diseases, including POAG.Among multiple types of stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) is the one with the most clinical potential due to its autologous derivation and non-ethical issue. In this paper,we summarized the encouraging therapeutic effects of iPSCs on POAG from different species, different etiological factors and different pathological stages.Although these encouraging studies suggest that iPSC is a fabulous stem cell type to regenerate the damaged tissue, more efforts are required for clinical application. In addition,we discussed several solutions to improve the safety of iPSCs and provided potential approaches to improve the therapeutic efficiency and specific targeting.Answering these questions will help us to better understand the characteristics of iPSCs and promote the development of bench to bedside research.
3.Treatment of Hyperlipidemia by Acupuncture and Cupping Method on Back-shu Points
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2005;3(1):14-15
Xinshu (BL 15), Feishu (BL 13), Pishu (BL 20), Ganshu (BL 18), Shenshu (BL23) and Geshu (BL 17) were selected and the needles were retained for 30 min. After the needles were taken out, cupping method was applied on each acupoint. In the treatment of total 36 cases of hyperlipidemia, the results showed remarkable effect in 22 cases, effect in 9cases and failure in 5 cases, and the total effective rate in 86.1%.
4.Comment on "Bioethics is love of life"
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
Professor Macer summarizes the essence and concepts of bioethics with love as the universal ethical basis, but it effective resources and evidence proves to be limited. In fact, the "love" could be the motive of ethics rather than the basis of ethics. For the origins of ethics are vastly related with compassion and mercy.
5.The reliability and validity of Chinese version of the rejection sensitivity questionnaire
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2012;21(8):757-759
ObjectiveTo assess the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the rejection sensitivity questionnaire(RSQ).Methods813 college students were investigated with RSQ and each caregiver was retested 4 weeks later. Results ( 1 ) All items had good discrimination.(2) Exploratory factor analysis showed the Chinese version of RSQ consisted of three factors which could explain 45.986% of the total variance.Confirmatory factor analysis indicated that there was high fitting degree between the three-factor model and the two-dimension model. They were significantly correlated with RSQ total score( r =0.661 ~ 0.851,P < 0.001 ).(3) The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.809.The three factor's Cronbach's alphas were 0.684,0.631 and 0.534 respectively. The test-retest coefficient was 0.892 (P < 0.001 ).ConclusionThe Chinese version of RSQ is a reliable and valid measurement for assessing the rejection sensitivity of the Chinese college students.
6.Factors influencing the assay of ?_1-antitrypsin bioactivity
Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(04):-
Objective To study the factors influencing the assay of ? 1 antitrypsin(? 1 AT) bioactivity. Methods Various concentrations of PEG(MW, 4000), sucrose, sodium citrate and ethanol were added before determining ? 1 AT activity. Results ? 1 AT activity increased approximately 100% compared with the controls when the PEG concentration reached 20%. Conclusion PEG concentration influences the ? 1 AT activity assay.

8.Gene Therapy of Spinal Cord Injury
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2001;28(1):29-32
Gene therapy of spinal cord injury (SCI) is the most promising method compared with the others, because it doesn't involve the problems of resource and higher exclusion which respectively exists in fetal nerve transplantation and peripheral nerve transplantation. There are two ways of gene therapy to be chosen: one is to transfer objective genes to the target-cells in vivo directly; the other is to transfer objective genes to one proper kind of transplantable cells firstly, then graft the highest expressing cells to the target-cells in vivo. To realize the transfer of genes to cells, two measures are used in common: physical or chemical measure such as micro infection et al and biochemical measure i. e. gene modified defective virus. Although there are some questions unresolved in this field, the clinical value of gene therapy of SCI in the future is depended.

Seven cases of tic of limbs caused by an intravenous drip of penicillin combined with kfloxcin were treated by puncturing acupoints Neiguan (PC 6),Hegu(LI 4) and Taichong (LR 3).After the symptoms were relieved, the patients were again given an intravenous drip of penicillin or kfloxcin,no side effects was found.
10.Timing of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in acute pancreatitis with gallbladder stones
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2016;22(5):308-310
Objective To evaluate the timing, feasibility and necessity of early laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) in management of patients with mild to moderate acute pancreatitis with gallbladder stones. Methods The clinical data of 75 patients with mild to moderate acute pancreatitis and gallbladder stones treated from September 2010 to August 2014 in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively.32 patients underwent LC within 48 hours of the pancreatic attack. The results were compared with those from 43 patients with delayed LC.Results All the patients were operated by experienced surgeons. There were no significant differences between the two groups in operation time, postoperative complications, intraoperative blood loss, conversion rates, white blood cell count, percentage of neutrophils and blood amylase before and after the operation (P >0.05).Patients who received delayed LC had longer hospital stay [(10.6 ± 1.3) vs (17.1 ± 1.8),P < 0.05].The readmission rate in patients with delayed LC was 30.2% (13/43),and most admissions occurred within 2 ~4 weeks of hospital discharge. In patients with early LC,one patient developed necrotic pancreatitis and died of septic shock. All the remaining patients were cured. Conclusions It is safe, feasible and necessary to perform LC within 48 h in patients with mild to moderate acute pancreatitis and gallbladder stones.Such patients have a high readmission rate and the best timing of delayed LC is within 2 ~ 4 weeks after discharge from hospital.
