[Method]Based on angiogenesis mechanisms, infer to recent 10 years of articles from home and abroad, analyze and summarize the angiogenesis regulatory mechanisms of various bioactive ingredients in Danshen on endothelial cells, in vitro tumour cells and in vivo xenograft tumor. [Result] Among various bioactive ingredients of Salvia, Salvianolic acid B, Tanshinone IIA, Cryptotanshinone, Dihydrotanshinone I can promote or inhibit angiogenesis. Furthermore, Salvianolic acid B and Tanshinone IIA are considered to be the most important bioactive ingredients in Danshen and exhibit a dual angiogenic regulating activity through regulating various approaches, such as pro-angiogenic factors, MMPs, HIF-1α, the PI3K/AKT/eNOS signal pathway and so on. [Conclusion]Various bioactive ingredients of Salvia can serve as a regulator of angiogenesis, and it may provide new ideas for the prevention of angiogenesis-related diseases.
6.Organizational flexibility of an ambidextrous medical research institution
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2013;26(4):224-227,240
In an uncertain and dynamic environment, medical research institutions must often balance between the usual medical research and emergent medical research. We interpreted this as a balance between exploitation-oriented innovation and exploration-oriented innovation. We pointed out that a flexible organization can coordinate the competition of scientific research resources between the two kinds of innovation; then we built an organizational flexibility model based on resource flexibility and coordination flexibility, and extended the model to medical research institution. And finally,we discussed the strategies for increasing organizational flexibility.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(10):939-941
Cyclic alternating pattern (CAP) during sleep is a kind of cyclic oscillation of EEG pattern in non-rapid eye movement sleep(NREM sleep), which reflects microstructure of sleep. It has been identified that CAP plays an important role in keeping the integrity of sleep. The purpose of the interview is to introduce the recording, identification, physiological meaning and clinic implication of CAP.
8.Experiment study on radial optic neurotomy in cats' eyes
International Eye Science 2006;6(4):765-768
AIM: To explore the anatomical changes of the optic nerve head in cats after radial optic neurotomy (RON).METHODS: The normal anatomic data were obtained from 12 healthy cats. A total of 18 healthy cats were used in the experiment, which were divided into four groups: each operative group was executed at the :Lst, 15th, 30th, 90th day after undergoing RON unilaterally.(six in 1st group). The enucleated eyes of each operative group were cut section routinely and embedded in paraffin, the cross sections were stained by special staining.RESULTS: At the 1st day after operation, the incision came into being and connected with cerebral subarachnoid space of orbital optic nerve. At 15th day, incision was fusiform and hyperplastic neuroglial cells and fibroblasts aggregated at the incision. At 30th day, there was obvious proliferation of type fibril at the neurotomy. The aligned texture of collagen fibril of the lamina cribrosa near the incision was moved close to each other. At the 90th day, a discrete scar was noted at the site which reached the cribriform and sclera.CONCLUSION: RON can cut scleral ring and piamater of optic nerve sharply. The incision of RON connects with subarachnoid space of orbital optic nerve and becomes broaden gradually at the site of scleral ring. The potential role of incision of RON is relevant to the subject.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2011;30(9):779-783
ObjectiveThe apoptosis and anti-proliferation effects of photodynamic methods on cervical cancer and ovarian cancer cell lines were studied to explore the advantage of photodynamic therapy in gynecological cancer.MethodsCervical cancer cell line (Hela) and ovarian cancer cell line (SK()V3) were treated with photosensitizer (5-ALA) at different doses and then radiated by laser with energy scopes. The morphological characteristics were observed by light microscopy and electronic microscopy. Inhibition effects and cell apoptosis were studied by MTT assay and flow cytometry (FCM) ResultsThe cytomorphosis and shrinkage, nucleus condensation and anachromasia, dense chromatin lining along cell membrane were observed in both cell line receiving photodynamic therapy.Through transmission electron microscope (TEM), we found nucleus chromatin gathering along membrane of cell nuclear and apoptotic body formed. The cell inhibition rates were 12.9%-90.7% and 3.9 %-70.0%, respectively in Skov3 cell and HeLa cell treated with 5-ALA of different concentrations (0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.5 mol/L) and receiving laser of different doses (0.1,0.5, 2.5, 12.5 J/cm2). The concentration of the photosensitizer and the dose of laser influenced the optical density(A) of cell lines (P<0.01). The photo sensitizer was related strongly to laser (P<0.01). The optical density of the two cell lines decreased with the increases of photo sensitizer concentration and laser dose ( P<0.01 ),showing concentration- and time-dependent manner. Conclusions Photodynamic therapy inhibits the growth of ovarian cancer and cervical cancer cell line.
