Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Yang Xin Huo Xue(nourishing the heart and activating blood flow) needling method plus Western medication in treating chronic heart failure due to coronary heart disease (CHD).Method Eighty patients with CHD-induced chronic heart failure were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, to respectively receiveYang Xin Huo Xueneedling method plus Western medicationor Western medication alone for intervention. The heart function was estimated and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) was detected before and after the intervention in both groups, and the change of heart function was observed.Result Yang Xin Huo Xueneedling method plus Western medication achieved a satisfactory therapeutic efficacy in treating chronic heart failure, and its total effective rate was significantly different from the rate in the control group (P<0.05); compared with the control group, the BNP value declined more significantly in the treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Yang Xin Huo Xueneedling method plus Western medication can produce a satisfactory efficacy in treating CHD-induced chronicheart failure.

Objective:To observe the inhibitory effect of disodium cantharidinate on human hepatoma cell line HepG2 and investi-gate its possible mechanisms. Methods:HepG2 cells were treated with different concentration of disodium cantharidinate,The in- hibiton of cell proliferation,cell cycle distribution,expression of Survivin and activity of Caspase-3 were respectively evaluated by MTT assay,flow cytometry,immunocytochemistry,and chromatometry. Results:Disodium cantharidinate could inhibit the proliferation of HepG2 cells. The IC50 at 24,48,72 h after intervention were 2.41?0.48,0.72?0.08,and 0.39?0.04 ug/ml,The cells of G2/M phase and activity of Caspase-3 were increased.the expression respectively of Survivin were inhibited after the intervention of disodium cantharidinate. Conclusion:The inhibitory effect of disodium cantharidinate on HepG2 cells may be mediated by the block of cellcycle,enhancement of Caspase-3,and inhibition of Survivin.

A L-serine producing facuhative methylotroph mutant (Mth~H、Gly~R)was derived from Pseudomonas flava A3 by combination treatment with ultraviolet(UV)and diethylsulfate(DES).It could accumulate 6.2g/L L-serine in the medium containing 30g/L glycine and 1% methanol as carbon source when it was cultured for 3 days,and it has an improvement about 67.6% compared with the origin.The mutant also has a good stability of descendiblity of L-serine producing.

Objective　To study the factors effecting the formation of the ventricular aneurysm post myocardial infarction (MI) and evaluate the diagnostic methods.Methods　23 MI patients with ventricular aneurysm confirmed by left ventricular angiography were observed for electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiogram (ECHO), coronary disease and collateral vessels formation. Results　All patients had LAD disease, 65.2% patients had three coronary disease, and those with class Ⅲ collateral vessels circulation only 17.4%. Compared to ECHO by which only 4 patients were found aneurysm, the positive rate by ECG was 82.6%. Conclusion　Patients with multiple coronary disease and without enough collateral vessels are expected to form ventricular aneurysm. ECG is more sensitive than ECHO for diagnosis of ventricular aneurysm post MI

Objective To understand the clinical characteristics of lower respiratory tract infection,pathogenic distribution and drug resistance in intensive care unit to provide a basis for reasonable use of antibiotics. Methods From January 2008 to August 2010,the clinical data from our hospital ICU impatients of lower respiratory tract infection were retrospectively analyzed. The isolated strains were identified, the antibiotic susceptibility test was performed by K-B methods and the results were read according to CLSI 2007. Results There were 509 patients, 147 cases of lower respiratory tract infection were found. Lower respiratory tract infection rate was 28.9% (147/509); 283 strains of pathogens had been isolated by culture and most of which were Gram negative bacilli(86. 9%), the other pathogens included Gram positive cocci(7.4%) and fungi(5.7%). The most common pathogens were Acinetobacter spp, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae,Stenotrophomonas oligotrophic aeromons, Fungi, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Burkholderia cepacia,etc,accounting for 24. 7% ,20. 5% ,12. 7% ,6. 4% ,5.7% ,5. 3% ,5.3% and 4. 6% ;The main pathogens were highly resistant to the most antibiotics. Conclusion ICU had a higher lower respiratory tract infection rate, Gram negative bacilli are the main pathogen, and showed the multi-drug resistance features to the antibiotics.

Objective: To investigate the effect of hypoxia/reoxygenation on endoplasmic reticulum stress in cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. Methods: Neonatal rat cardiac myocytes in primary culture were exposed to hypoxia for 5.5 hours and subsequently reoxygenation for 2-24 hours. Western blot and RT- PCR were applied to monitor the expression change of GRP78(glucose regulated protein 78). 2-deoxy-D-glucose(2-DG) was the positive control of this study. Then Western blot and RT- PCR were used to examine the expression of GRP78. Results: Cell viability was decreased obviously after hypoxia/reoxygenation. Compared with untreated cells, the GRP78 content of the cells had increased significantly in the hypoxia/reoxygenation cells. The level of GRP78 protein and mRNA elevated from the points of 2 hours to 24 hours after reoxygenation, and increased most obviously at the point of 4 hours after reoxygenation.(4 hours: protein level 142% of the control, mRNA level 200%). 2-DG could induce the increasing expression of GRP78 in a concentration-dependent manner from 10-50 mmol/L. Conclusion: Hypoxia/reperfusion can induce endoplasmic reticulum stress in rat cardiomyocytes.

Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics of bacillary dysentery and etiological characteristics of Shigella in Tianjin, and to provide evidence for the prevention and control measures. Methods The data of disease surveillance information reporting system from 2008 to 2014 were analyzed retrospectively. A total of 3955 stool samples came from the clinically diagnosed cases of bacillary dysentery were collected, according to the extraction method of stratified sampling in Tianjin city, suburban area, Binhai New Area and suburban area sentinel hospitals, and according to the sampling interval for the May to October from 2008 to 2014. Samples were detected and cultured for Shigella flora. Results (1) Epidemiological characteristics:from 2008 to 2014, a total of 65179 cases of bacillary dysentery were reported in Tianjin city, with an average annual incidence of 72.00/100 thousand. The annual incidence rate showed a downward trend year by year. The incidence was a downward trend, including urban (120.28/100 thousand), suburban areas (70.36/100 thousand), Binhai New Area (64.22/100 thousand) and the outer suburbs (19.39/100 thousand). The onset time was mainly concentrated in June-September, and the peak incidence occurred in August. The incidence rate was higher in people below 5 years old and above the age of 85. The annual incidence rate was higher in male patients of 0 to 24 years old and above 75 years old than that of female. The annual incidence rate was higher in female patients of 50 to 74 years old age group than that of male (P<0.05). The distribution of occupation was scattered among children and retirees. (2) Distribution of bacteria:the 229 Shigella strains were positive (5.79%), including 136 strains of Shigella sonnei (59.39%), 93 strains of Shigella flexneri (40.61%). The 89 strains of Shigella flexneri (4 strains were not detected) were detected in 8 subtypes, F2a (49.44%), F2b (22.47%) and FX (13.48%). The subtypes of Shigella flexneri were detected decreased year by year from 2008 to 2014, showing a single subtype. The highest detection rate of Shigella was found in 10-19 years old (9.55%). The S.sonnei positive rate was the highest in urban (5.09%), and the Shigella flexneri positive rate was the highest in suburban areas (3.09%). Conclusion The key population for the prevention and control of bacillary dysentery in Tianjin is scattered children and old people. It is necessary to strengthen the propaganda and health education to improve the health consciousness of the key population and their daily nursing staff. With the continuous changes of Shigella flora, it is necessary to carry out long-term monitoring to find out the regularity of shigella.

Objective To evaluated the association between the NAGL and the chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients with iron status,which was occurred iron scarcity for CKD patient in clinical.Methods 154 CKD patients were included in this study.Serum neutrophil gelatinase-related lipid transport protein(NGAL) were detected in anemia group and non-anemia group of chronic kidney disease.The NGAL,univariate correlation and multivariate regression analysis,as well as ROC curve analysis,were used to assess and compared the diagnostic potential of NGAL,ferritin,EPO and Tfr (transferrin receptor) in CKD patients after analyzing the patient's iron status.Results NGAL levels were markedly higher in CKD patients with anemia than CKD patients without anemia.In the analysis,NGAL was inverse correlated with hemoglobin,hematocrit,MCV,MCH,serum iron and TSAT(correlation relation was-0.36,-0.32,-0.26,-0.31,-0.38,-0.3,respectively).ROC analysis was employed to assess and compare the diagnostic potentials of the NGAL,ferritin,EPO,and Tfr (transferritin receptor) in identifying this condition among CKD patients.The NGAL showed that the area under the curve of iron deficiency in CKD patients (AUC) was 0.713,with good sensitivity and specificity (58.6％ vs 74.7 ％).Conclusion NGAL might be proposed as a new tool in the assessment of iron deficiency and in the management of iron therapy for CKD patients.
