Objective:To investigate the relation between the AT 1 receptor gene polymorphism and some biochemical indices of essential hypertension patients. Methods:Sixty-four patients of mild-moderate essential hypertension were not given any anti-hypertension drugs for 5 half lives, then used the PCR-RFLP to detect the AT 1 receptor gene type and measured the basic blood pressure at the same time. After that, fasting serum glucose , serum total cholesterol(TC) , triglyceride(TG) , high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) , low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) , blood urea nitrogen(BUN) , creatinine(Cr) were measured in all subjects. Results:①The frequency of AC gene type in these essential hypertension patients and the C1166 allete of AT 1 receptor gene was 23.4% and 11.7%. ②There was a remarkable difference on TG between two gene groups. ③There were obvious difference on Cr and UA between two gene groups .④There were no obvious difference on Glu, TC ,HDL-C ,LDL-C ,BUN between AC and AA gene type. Conclusion:①The concentration of TG of AC gene type is lower than that of AA , there may be relativity between two gene type. ② A1166/C gene polymorphism may be associated with renal function. AA gene type may have poorer renal function. ③A1166/C gene polymorphism may be not relative with Glu,TCH ,HDL-C ,LDL-C ,BUN.
2.Effect of acupuncture at early stage on prognosis of the infantile of anoxic and ischemic cerebral injury.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2006;26(1):18-20
OBJECTIVETo study on the effect of acupuncture at early stage on prognosis of the infantile of anoxic and ischemic cerebral injury.
METHODSOne hundred and forty-eight newborns of moderate and severe anoxic and ischemic encephalopathy after acute stage were randomly divided into an acupuncture group and a control group. The acupuncture group were treated with comprehensive interference with acupuncture as main after the acute stage, and the control group with a routine infanticulture measure after acute stage and were discharged from hospital. Intelligence test was conducted in age of 3, 6, 12 and 18 months. Results The average development quotient (DQ) in the: acupuncture group in age of 6, 12, 18 months increased by 14.54, 21.46, and 24.06 points as compared with the control group, respectively. After age of 18 months, the maim rate was 7.2% in the treatment group and 33.8% in the control group with a very significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe comprehensive interference with acupuncture as main at early stage can effectively promote mental and motion development, and it is effective way for improving prognosis, reducing incidence rate of sequelae and increasing life quality in the infantile of anoxic and ischemic encephalopathy.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the usefulness of two- dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) computed tomography (CT) in the identification and classification of Le Fort type fractures.
METHODSSixty-two patients with different types of Le Fort fractures underwent CT scanning and 3D-CT reconstruction. The data were analyzed by multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), surface shaded display (SSD) and volume rendering (VR) respectively.
RESULTSThe patients with Le Fort I, Le Fort II fracture and Le Fort III fracture accounted for 16.1%, 14.5% and 12.9% respectively. The compound fractures were the most common type and accounted for 56.5% (n=35, 18 cases with Le Fort I+II fracture, 10 cases with Le Fort II+III fracture and 7 cases with Le Fort I+ II+III fracture). Fifty-five cases coexisted with other fractures in maxillofacial region. 2D-CT could be used to define the tiny fractures and the deep-structure fractures more accurately compared with 3D-CT, but the real impression of Le Fort type fractures could not be correctly evaluated on 2D-CT. 3D-CT could clearly demonstrate the whole shape of Le Fort type fractures and identify the classification of Le Fort fractures.
CONCLUSIONS3D-CT is the best imaging method for the diagnosis of Le Fort type fractures and can provide valuable information of space relationship, especially for the design of treatment plan before operation.
