Objective: To study the effect of chronic stress on spatial learning and memory and nitric oxide (NO) in hippocampus of the rats Method: Chronic stress model was established by electric-foot accompanied with noise Morris watermaze was used to observe spatial learning and memory abilities, contents of NO and activities of NOS in hippocampus were measured during the test Result: The spatial learning and memory of chronic stress rats were significantly decreased in Morris watermaze Contents of NO (3 87?0 47 nmol/mgpro) and NOS activity (102 64?13 33 pmol/mgpro/min) in hippocampus of the stress rats were significantly higher than that of normal rats (2 76?0 43 nmol/mgpro, 78 25?10 67 pmol/mgpro/min respectively) Conclusion: Chronic stress impairs spatial learning and memory abilities of rats, which may be related to the increase of NO in their hippocampus

Objective To develop a method for determination of serumal copper ion in rabbit with implantation of copper intrauterine device. Methods At different time points after implantation, the serumal copper ion concentrations were determined by microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) using scandium(Sc) and indium(In) as internal standards to compensate sample matrix effects, and the pharmacokinetics parameters were calculated in order to reflect copper ion release and metabolic rule. Results The serumal copper ion concentrations were kept at a low and stable level. The recoveries were in the range of 98.7%-113.3%,with the relative standard deviations of less than 5.0%.Conclusion The analytical method is simple, fast, and can be used for the determination of serumal copper ion in rabbit.

87%. CONCLUSIONS The surveillance of overexpressing AmpC ?-lactamases in cefoxitin-resistant Gram-negative bacillus must be enhanced. The therapy of infections caused by related bacillus should make imipenem and meropenem a chief choice.DHA-1,CMY-2 and CMY-22 AmpC enzymes are found in Fuzhou.

Objective To investigate the clinical application value of strong ion gap(SIG)generated by the third generation equa-tion following pH and the anion gap(AG)in critically ill patients. Methods On the basis of the determination results of blood gas and blood biochemistry, the equation in the Stewart-Figge methodology was adopted to calculate SIG.Results (1)There were sta-tistically significant differences in K+ ,Na+ ,HCO3 - ,AG,pH,PO4 3 - ,ALB,SIG and Cr between the critical illness groups and the control group(P <0.05).(2)The SIG mean value ratio the death group to non-death group was 3.04,the difference was the big-gest,P <0.05,AG and Cr took the second place. Conclusion SIG as a new indicator in combination with other biochemical and blood gas indicators, such as the HCO3 - ,AG,pH,PO4 3 - ,Cr and lactic acid can reflect the situation of the acid-base disorders in critically ill patients and plays a strong indicative role in predicting the disease development trends.

In this paper is recommended a highly sensitive and reagent-safe method to determine plasma heamoglobin (FHb) in viscacha hemolytic test. The 2,4-dichlorophenol method (2,4-DCP) of Trinder reaction has been improved. The performance of 2,4-DCP is verified. The sensitivity of 2,4-DCP is 2.39 times that of phenol method. It is well used with run precision and day-to-day precision. The reaction color is stable. The reference value FHb is 1-36.7 mg/L. Sodium citric is an excellent anticoagulant liquid to keep erythrocyte. The 2,4-DCP method is neither carcinogenic nor poisonous;it is suitable for viscacha hemolytic test in clinical and biomedical engineering.

BACKGROUND: Silk fibroin, the main component of silk fibroin biofilm, is a natural protein, but it is still a heterologous protein to the body. Its immunogenicity/toxicity is an important factor in determining the development prospects. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the toxicity of absorbable silk fibroin biofilm and its degradation products on the rat immune system by muscle implantation experiments in rats. METHODS: Ten Wistar rats from Beijing Weitong Lihua Experimental Animal Technology Co., Ltd. were implanted with a long strip of 1 mm× 10 mm in the right gluteal muscle to observe the implant absorption and determine the implantation cycle. Seventy-two Wistar rats were assigned into control and experimental groups (n=36/group, 18 in either sexes) . A long strip of 1 mm×10 mm was implanted into the rat right gluteal muscle in the experimental group, and the control group received no implantation. Some of the rats were taken for histological examination and calculate the organ/weight ratio, at 26 weeks postoperatively. The spleen lymphocyte proliferation ability, NK cell activity, cell classification of T lymphocytes, and levels of interleukin 2 and tumor necrosis factor α were detected. Another part of the animals was taken for macrophage phagocytosis of erythrocytes cell capacity and antibody producing cell count. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Silk fibroin biofilm was completely absorbed after implanted into the rat muscle for 26 weeks. (2) In female or male Wistar rats, the immune organs in the experimental group showed no significant changes in the appearance, weight and histological examination. There were no significant differences in the hematological indexes (hemoglobin, red blood cell count, hematocrit, blood platelet count and white blood cell count and classification) , spleen lymphocyte proliferation, NK cell activity, the ratio of T lymphocytes and their subpopulations, and the levels of interleukin 2 and tumor necrosis factor α had no significant differences between two groups (P> 0.05) . (3) In female or male Wistar rats, the macrophage phagocytosis of chicken erythrocytes cell capacity and antibody producing cell count showed no significant differences between two groups (P> 0.05) . (4) These results indicate that silk fibroin biofilm causes no immunosuppression or immunostimulation on immune organs, immune cells and immune molecules (cytokines) of rats.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the characteristics and regularity of ADR induced by antineoplastic drugs and provide reference for safe drug use in clinic. METHODS: ADR reports induced by antineoplastic drugs reported by 108 hospitals during Jan. 2009-Dec. 2016 were collected from PLA ADR Monitoring Center. ADR reports were analyzed respectively in respects of types of ADR reports, patients ' gender and age, administration route, occurrence time, types of antineoplastic drug, the situation of patients suffering tumor, systems/organs involved in ADR, clinical manifestations, outcome, etc. RESULTS: Among 15 183 ADR reports, there were 462 cases of new ADR and 2 873 cases of severe ADR; there were 8 039 male (52. 95%) and 7 144 female (47. 05%). The proportion of severe ADR in female (20. 00%) was significantly higher than male (17. 96%), with statistical significance (P=0. 001). ADR was mainly induced by intravenous administration (90. 53%), and mainly occurred 2-<7 d after medication (23. 00%). Top 3 drug categories in the list of ADR were platinum antineoplastic drugs (25. 63%), plant-derived antineoplastic drugs and its derivative (24. 42%) and anti-metabolism drugs (18. 50%). Male patients mainly suffered from lung cancer, colorectal cancer and gastric cancer; female patients mainly suffered from breast cancer, lung cancer and colorectal cancer. Systems/organs involved in ADR were gastrointestinal system, hematological system and systemic damage. Main clinical manifestations were nausea, vomiting, myelosuppression, skin rash and fever. Totally 92. 57% of ADR cases were cured and recovered after treatment, and 5 cases died. CONCLUSIONS: Antineoplastic drugs have high incidence of ADR with serious damage. Clinic should strengthen the monitoring of key population and key drugs so as to reduce the occurrence of ADR.
