1.A study on the mRNA expression of the glucose transporter gene in the diabetic rats
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 1993;0(00):-
The study was proceeded on the mRNA expression of the GULT1 and GLUT4 gene in the alloxan diabetic rats by the technique of dot-blot hybridization analysis. The results showed that the levels of the GLUT4 mRNA expression were reduced in diabetic rats while increased in insulin treated diabetic rats. This suggests that the reduced GLUT4 mRNA expression which could affect the quantity of its posttranslational products may be one of the causes of the insulin resistance.

4.Roles of transient receptor potential canonical channels in tumors
Journal of International Oncology 2015;(7):522-524
Transient receptor potential(TRP)channels as an important non-selective cation channels family mainly permeate Ca2 + ,Na + and other cations. TRPC channel is a subtribe of TRP family which regu-lates the second messenger of Ca2 + concentration and variety of protease activity, and which can directly or in-directly affect the biological behavior of cells. Recently, more and more evidences have certificated the TRPC channels affect the tumorigenesis and development, such as regulation of proliferation,differentiation,migra-tion,apoptosis and resistance of chemotherapeutic agents during cancer progression.
5.Progress on Treatment of Stress Urinary Incontinence with Skeletal Muscle-derived Stem Cells
Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2015;(6):563-566
[Summary] There are a variety of treatment methods for stress urinary incontinence ( SUI) .Surgery is effective but has high risks, only to adapt to the limited population .Conservative treatment has a high recurrence rate and poor long-term results.Local injection of stem cell has been proposed as a new minimally invasive therapy of SUI .Stem cells, with the ability to transform into muscle cell , secrete various growth factors , promote local nerve and muscle tissue regeneration , and repair sphincter dysfunction .This article reviewed on therapy of skeletal muscle-derived stem cells and the associated risks of treatment .
6.Clinical efficacy of tigecycline combined with isepamicin in treatment of multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii pneumonia
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;37(4):148-150
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of tigecycline combinated with isepamicin for treatment of pneumonia caused by multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed in adult patients with multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii pneumonia in two general hospitals from January 2012 to January 2014.Total eighty-four patients with MDR-Acinetobacter baumannii pneumonia were randomly divided into two groups(n=42).One group was treated with tigecycline combinated with isepamicin(termed combination therapy group),and another group was administrated with cefoperazone sulbactam (termed control group ).The clinical cure rates, microbiological eradication rates and adverse events were collected and compared. Results There was no difference in APACHEⅡ score between two groups. The clinical cure rates in combination therapy group was significantly higher than that in control group(88% vs 61%,P<0.05),and with a higher rate of microbiological eradication(59.5% vs 35.7%,P <0.05 ).However, the occurence rate of adverse events was similar in the two groups (7.1% vs 1 1.9%). Conclusion With a higher rate of clinical efficacy and a lower rate of adverse events, the combination therapy with tigecycline and isepamicin would be a promising alternative for treatment with MDR-Acinetobacter baumannii pneumonia.
7.Analysis of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein concentration and WBC count in patients infected by different bacteria
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(17):2301-2302
Objective To investigate the concentration of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein and WBC count for patients with dif-ferent kind of bacterial infection. Methods 49 blood samples and 81 other samples were collected form different patients for bacteri-al culture.Meanwhile,procalcitonin,C-reactive protein concentration and WBC count of those patients were determined to find whether these indicators exhibited any difference between Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria infected patients. Results For bloodstream infection,PCT levels in patients with Gram-nagetive bacterial infection were obviously higher than those with Gram-positive infection(P <0.05 ).For other infection, there was no statistical difference among patients′PCT,CRP concentration and WBC count(P >0.05).Conclusion PCT concentration is valuable in the differential diagnosis of blood stream infection caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, but not in local infection infection.
8.Relationship between red cell distribution width and short-term outcomes in acute coronary syndrome patients
Chinese Journal of Geriatric Heart Brain and Vessel Diseases 2014;(8):815-818
Objective To study the relationship between red cell distribution width (RDW ) and short-term outcomes in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients .Methods A totoal of 1654 ACS patients were divided into RDW ≤12 .1% group(n=419) ,RDW=12 .2% -12 .8% group(n=364) ,RDW=12 .9% -13 .2% group (n= 463) and RDW ≥13 .3% group (n= 408) .Their bio-chemical indicators and incidence of 1-month cardiac death ,heart failure ,recurrent myocardiac in-farction were compared .Relationship between RDW and 1-month adverse cardiac events was as-sessed .Results The incidence of cardiac death ,heart failure ,recurrent myocardiac infarction in-creased with the increasing RDW .Logistic regression analysis showed that RDW ,BNP>100 ng/L and LVEF< 40% were the independent risk factors for 1-month cardiac death in ACS patients (OR=2 .116 ,95% C I:1 .427-3 .137 ,P=0 .000;OR=3 .510 ,95% C I:1 .221 -10 .093 ,P=0 .020 ;OR= 4 .149 ,95% CI:2 .001 -8 .602 ,P= 0 .000 ) ,and that RDW ,age> 65 years ,diabetes and LVEF<40% were the independent risk factors for 1-month heart failure and recurrent myocardi-ac infarction in ACS patients (OR= 2 .134 ,95% CI:1 .602 -2 .844 ,P= 0 .000 ,OR= 2 .010 , 95% C I:1 .135 -3 .560 ,P=0 .017 ;OR=2 .279 ,95% C I:1 .345 -3 .862 ,P= 0 .002 ;OR=5 .009 , 95% CI:2.694-9 .316 ,P=0 .000) .Conclusion RDW is an independent risk factor for the short-term outcomes in ACS patients .
9.CT Manifestations of Mediastinal Congenital Bronchogenic Cysts
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2014;(11):820-823
PurposeTo explore the CT features and its diagnostic value of mediastinal congenital bronchogenic cysts.Materials and MethodsThe clinical findings and CT manifestations of 14 patients with mediastinal bronchogenic cysts confirmed by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed, among which 12 were performed by both plain and enhanced CT scan, and the other 2 only received either plain or enhanced CT scan.ResultsAll the patients presentedfluid-filled cysts, and 3 of them had CT number lower than 20 HU, 7 cases from 20 to 60 HU, and 4 more than 60 HU. Four patients had lesions in anterior mediastinum, 4 others in posterior mediastinum, and all the 8 lesions were on the left side; 6 patients had lesions in middle mediastinum, among which 5 lesions were on the right side; and 1 case of posterior bronchogenic cysts cancerated into adenocarcinoma.ConclusionMediastinal bronchogenic cysts can appear in any part of mediastinum; lesions in middle mediastinum are more likely to occur on the right side, whilst lesions in anterior and posterior mediastinum are often located on the left side. The typical CT manifestations show well-defined round or oval masses of homogeneous soft-tissue or cysts with watery density.
