Results There was a significant difference between pretreatment and posttreatmentin each group ( P < 0.02 ). There were no significantdifferences in curative effect and score reduction rate between the two groups ( P > 0.05). But acupuncture had no side effects and was good in compliance. Conclusion Acupuncture is an effective method for treating depressive neurosis.
6.Effect of tranilast on cardiac fibroblasts proliferation and phenotype transformation incubated with high concentration of glucose
Chinese Journal of Pharmacology and Toxicology 2016;30(3):203-208
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of tranilast on cardiac fibroblasts proliferation and phenotype transformation incubated with a high concentration of glucose and the possible mechanism. METHODS The cardiac fibroblasts were divided into seven groups in accordance with different nutrient solutions:normal control group(5.5 mmol · L-1 glucose),hypertonic group(5.5 mmol · L-1 glucose+mannitol 25 mmol · L- 1),high glucose group (25 mmol · L- 1 glucose),tranilast intervention groups (25 mmol·L-1 glucose+tranilast 50,100 and 200μmol·L-1),and activin receptor-like kinase 7(ALK7) inhibitor group(25 mmol · L-1 glucose+10μmol · L-1 SB431542). The cell proliferation was detected by MTT method. The transformation of cardiac fibroblasts was determined by immunfluorescence staining. The expression of fibroblast specific protein 1 (FSP-1),α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA),transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)and ALK7 was assessed by Western blotting. RESULTS Compared with nor?mal control group,A492 nm of cells in high glucose group was significantly increased(P<0.01),while the expression of α-SMA,TGF-β1 and ALK7 protein in high glucose group was significantly increased(P<0.01),but FSP-1 protein was significantly decreased(P<0.01). There was no difference between normal control group and hypertonic group. Compared with high glucose group,A492 nm of cells in tranilast or SB431542 intervention groups were decreased(P<0.05),and the expression of α-SMA,TGF-β1 and ALK7 protein was significantly decreased(P<0.05),but the expression of FSP-1 protein was increased (P<0.05)in tranilast or SB431542 intervention groups. CONCLUSION Tranilast can inhibit the proliferation and phenotype transformation of cardiac fibroblasts induced by high glucose, which may be related to down-regulation of the expression of ALK7.

8.New therapies for obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(2):218-220
Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome ( OSAHS) is a prevalent disorder often associated with multisystem dys-function.Available therapies are limited by either lack of long-term adherence or low response rates .Two emerging therapies hold promise in providing alternatives to patients with OSA .The first stems from the importance of the upperairway dilator muscles in main-taining pharyngeal stability .Electrical stimulation of the genioglossus muscle improves both upper-airway diameter and ameliorates pha-ryngeal obstruction .The results of phase ⅠandⅡclinical trials hold promise , but the reported improvements in the apnea-hypopnea index vary between subjects and long-term safety needs further studies .The second technology relies on creating an increased expiratory nasal resistance via a bidirectional valve designed to be worn just inside the nostrils .Initial findings of clinical trials suggest reduction in severity of sleep apnea and subjective daytime sleepiness .Considerable heterogeneity in response to the nasal device was noted de-spite the high adherence rates .It remains unclear which patients will likely benefit from these devices .

Conclusion: The mental health status of elderly people in the rural areas is poorer than that of retired people. Existence of spouse, physical health, filial piety of sons and daughters and economic independence all influence the mental health of elderly people in the rural areas.
10.Micro-sphere culture gathers cancer stem cell and its potential clinical application
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2017;44(3):136-141
Cancer stem cell hypothesis has become a new theory. According to this theory, cancer stem cells play a decisive role in car-cinogenesis, progression, and metastasis. This theory offered new ideas and strategies for cancer treatment. However, only a small fraction of cells in a tumor were cancer stem cells. Therefore, the identification and enrichment of these cells are significant challenges for numerous researchers conducting further study. Micro-sphere culture has been an effective tumor stem cell enrichment technolo-gy in recent years. The application of this technique makes the cancer stem cell research process easy. In addition, it makes the evalua-tion of tumor progression and prognosis of patients in clinical possible. This article will focus on the applications of this technology, and microsystem integration will be described in detail.
