1.Study on space distribution of rabbit P3a potential
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2001;5(10):47-48
Objective To investigate possible nerological origination of rabbit P3a potential. Method we simultaneously recorded the ERPs at dura and various depths beneath the skull in a point of rabbit skull, similarly did some in different points of rabbit skull. Result In the Brodmann 25 and 32 areas(AcgI), the polarity of P3a to those at dura was markedly reverse and the reverse rate of P3a(81.3%) was significantly higher than other locations, the P3a without polarity reversal showed steep voltage gradient. There was an increasing trend of the P3a reversal and moderate voltage gradient nearby the AcgI, but not other regions. Conclusion Rabbit P3a potential possibly originate from the AcgI acea.
2.The clinical analysis of transvaginal abdominal hysterectomy and laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(11):1448-1449
Objective To evaluate and compare the advantages and disadvantages and the clinical application between transvaginal abdominal hysterectomy(TAH)and laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy(LAVH)on the benign lesions of non-prolapsed uterus. Methods 400 patients with benign lesions of non-prolapsed uterus were divided into two groups,TAH group(202 cases)and LAVH group(198 cases). The effects of clinical treatment of the two groups were compared. Results There were significant differentces between the two groups in operation time, the blood loss, passage of gas by anus, return to normal activities, and overall cost of treatment. However, after 1to 3 months follow-up,all patients were good in terms of outcome. Conclusion Different surgical patterns of hysterectomy had their distinctive advantages. The key point of a successful operation Was to avoid complications of the operation.
3.Clinical teaching of bronchoscopy
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(8):937-938
ObjectiveTo explore medical students on the level of awareness of bronchoscopy, bronchoscopy teaching methods and teaching effectiveness. MethodsMaking a analysis of the appraisal questionnaire on the theoretical knowledge bronchoscopy study, bronchoscopy operational training of the intemship system of the clinical course. ResultsAfter clinical teaching of bronchoscopy, medical students have improved significantly. their operation skills and motivation in learning the respiratory system anatomy, pathological features, imaging diagnosis and bronchoscopy technology. ConclusionThe clinical teaching of bronchoscopy can improve the quality of clinical teaching in respiratory medicine, which helps to improve the clinical skills of medical students, and lay the foundation for training medical students in bronchoscopy.
4.Automatic segmentation for cryo-electron micrograph image based on wavelet transformation and difference of Gaussian
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(48):9479-9482
Segmentation of cryo-electron micrograph (Cryo-EM) image is crucial to identification of macromolecular particles. In this paper, the features of Cryo-EM image are discussed and a new automatic segmentation algorithm for Cryo-EM image based on wavelet transformation and difference of Gaussian (DoG) is also provided. This method uses wavelet decomposition to do the multi-resolution analysis, which can depress noise and enhance contrast. After DoG image is segmented by using OTSU method, main edges are selected by the combination of gray and grads information. Experiment results show that the algorithm has good result.
5.Prevention and treatment of cerebral vasospasm with free radical scavengers after subarachnoid hemorrhage
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(10):782-786
Cerebral vasospasm is a common complication after subarachnoid hemorrhage, and its pathophysiological mechanism is poorly understood. A growing body of research suggests that free radicals play an important role in inducing cerebral vasospasm. In recent years, the research about free radical scavengers in the prevention and treatment of cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage is continuing to increase, This article reviews the roles of many types of free radical scavengers in the prevention and treatment of cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage.
6.Feasibility of hypocaloric nutrition support in elderly patients
Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2010;18(1):9-11
Objective To investigate the feasibility of hypocaloric nutrition support in elderly patients. Methods Sixteen elderly patients ( > 85 years) were treated with hypocaloric nutrition for 4 weeks. The calorie intake was 75-96 kJ·kg-1·d -1 , including 44% -59% of carbohydrates ( 137-207 g·d -1 ) , 26% -42% of lipids (40-67 g·d-1) , and 14%-16% of proteins (0.7-0.9 g·kg-1·d-1). Nonprotein calorie-to-nitrogen ratio was 131∶1-150∶1. After 4 weeks of treatment, changes in blood routine test, biochemistry, and clotting function were compared with those before hypocaloric nutrition support. Results After hypocaloric nutrition support, the plasma proteins, blood fats, and lymphocytes in these 16 elderly patients were well maintained, and no obvious adverse effect on clotting function or liver/kidney functions was observed. Conclusion Hypocaloric nutrition support is safe and effective for elderly patients who are older than 85 years.
7.Progress in tumor combination treatment of chemotherapy and immunotherapy
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(5):351-354
Methods involved in the treatment of malignant tumor are surgical therapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Although some effects have been showed in tumor therapy, the limits of single use of those methods can not be avoided. Therefore, combined therapy has been pursued in order to achieve better results. The effects of those combined methods such as chemotherapy combined with cytokine, chemotherapy combined with tumor vaccine, chemotherapy combined with adjuvants have been approved both experimentally and clinically. These results, in some extent, will provide us a new way to fight against tumor.
8.Fractalkine and its receptor CX3 CR1 and cerebrovascular diseases
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(2):142-145
Fractalkine is a new member of chemokine family, which exists in membrane-boundd form and soluble form. It has both adhesion molecular and chemokine activities. CX3 CR1 is its specific receptor. Both of them were expressed in many diseases of the nervous system. At present, fractalkine and its receptor CX3CR1 polymorphism and the research of cerebrovascular diseases mainly involve in the risk factors for cerebrovascular diseases, cerebral ischemia-reperfusion and bone marrow stem cell transplantion, which are expected to become a new target for clinical treatment.
