Objective To investigate expression and significance of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) in serum and placental tissue of preeclampsia maternal.Methods 74 cases of preeclampsia pregnant women as research subjects,which 39 cases of severe preeclampsia,35 cases of mild preeclampsia,selected 30 cases of normal late maternal as the control group.Three groups of maternal serum levels of MMP-9 and of NGAL were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RT-PCR was used to test placenta MMP-9 mRNA,and NGAL mRNA level.Results Preeclampsia maternal serum levels of MMP-9 and NGAL level were significantly higher than those of severe preeclampsia pregnant women serum level of MMP-9 and NGAL were significantly higher than mild preeclampsia (t =3.127,2.846,3.508,3.284,all P ＜ 0.05).Preeclampsia placentas of MMP-9 mRNA and NGAL mRNA levels were significantly lower than the control group (t =-2.842,-2.728,-3.532,-3.276,(a)ll P ＜ 0.05),severe preeclampsia placentas of MMP-9 and NGAL were significantly higher than mild preeclampsia(t =2.732,2.741,all P ＜ 0.05),severe preeclampsia placentas of MMP-9 mRNA and NGAL mRNA levels were significantly lower than in patients with mild preeclampsia (t =-2.681,-2.587,all P ＜ 0.05).Preeclampsia maternal serum levels of MMP-9 and NGAL was positively correlated with placental tissue mRNA levels of MMP-9 and NGAL mRNA level was positively correlated (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Preeclampsia maternal serum MMP-9 and NGAL were significantly elevated,placental MMP-9 mRNA and NGAL mRNA levels were significantly decreased,suggested that they may be involved in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.

Objective To observe the repairing effect of hyaluronic acid hydrogel on rat articular cartilage defects .Methods One hundred and twenty SD rats were randomly divided into group A (natural repair group) ,group B (hyaluronic acid group) and group C (composite material group) ,36 rats was in each group and 12 rats were used to obtain cartilage cells .Full‐thickness articular os‐teochondral defects(2 .5 mm in diameter and 3 .0 mm in depth)were created mechanically in femoral trochlea of rats .Histological and biochemical method were used to evaluate the repairing effect of different material at different points(10 ,20 ,40 d) .Results Repairing effect of group C was best by histological and biochemical method at different points ,followed by group B ,and they were better than that of group A .Conclusion Hyaluronic acid hydrogel could provide cartilage cell proliferation for porous space truss structure ,and could carry cartilage cells at the same time .the cellular space truss structure have high surrounding tissue compatibil‐ity and biodegradation ,it is helpful for cartilage cell survival ,reproduction and division .

Rapid and accurate diagnosis of pathogens is the responsibility of the clinical microbiology lab.Effective implementation of this function requires standard procedure of specimen collection and processing.In order to improve the ability of infectious disease diagnosis,clinical microbiology laboratory should strengthen the communication with the clinicians,to improve the quality and quantity of specimens.Meanwhile,microbiology laboratory should learn some clinical knowledge and understand the demand and development of clinical practice.Clinical microbiology lab should emphasize patient-oriented and multidisciplinary close cooperation,for improvement of pathogen diagnosis level.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Xing Nao An Shen Jie Yu needling method (brain-awakening mind-calming and anti-depression needling method) in treating depression after cerebral stroke. Method Totally 120 patients with depression after cerebral stroke were randomized into two groups: the acupuncture group was intervened by An Shen Xing Nao Jie Yu needling method, while the Western medication group was by oral administration of Fluoxetine Hydrochloride capsules. The Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Barthel Index (BI) were adopted to evaluate the depression degree, neural function deficit, and activities of daily living after 4-week and 8-week treatments. Result The total effective rate was 96.5% in the acupuncture group, versus 83.9% in the Western medication group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the acupuncture group was superior to the Western medication group in improving the HAMD, NIHSS, and BI scores (P<0.01), and its therapeutic efficacy present with a feature of time-effect. Conclusion Xing Nao An Shen Jie Yu needling can significantly improve the symptoms of depression after cerebral stroke, promoting the recovery of neural function and enhancing the quality of life.

BACKGROUND:Survivin gene is the most potent anti-apoptosis factor, which can inhibit tumor cel proliferation and migration. It has become a hot topic related to cancer research in recent years.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of Survivin gene silencing on the biological characteristics of G666-1 nasopharyngeal carcinoma cel s.
METHODS:siRNA sequence of Survivin was designed and synthesized and then transfected into G666-1 cel s using LipofectamineTM 2000. After Survivin gene silencing, Survivin mRNA and protein expressions were detected by RT-PCR and western blot assay, respectively. Expression of CD44+CD133+cel s was detected by flow cytometry. In addition, the effects of Survivin gene silencing on the proliferation, migration and invasion of G666-1 cel s were evaluated through cel counting kit-8 test, scratch healing assay and cel invasion assay.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After Survivin gene silencing, the expressions of Survivin mRNA and protein were significantly reduced (P<0.05);the growth of G666-1 cel s was slowed dramatical y, indicating the proliferation ability was inhibited, and the migration and invasion abilities were both decreased significantly (P<0.05);the expression ratio of CD44+CD133+cel s was significantly lowered (P<0.05). These findings indicate that the proliferation, migration and invasion of G666-1 nasopharyngeal cancer stem cel s can be suppressed after Survivin gene silencing, and the proportion of CD44+CD133+cel s is reduced, thus indicating Survivin gene silencing may be a new effective target for treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

OBJECTIVETo investigate necessity of the further processing for adsorptive resin material.

METHODSAccording to GB/ T 16886.4, coagulation tests, haematology tests, in vitro spontaneous platelet-adhesion test and complement activation tests were conducted respectively to assess the in vitro blood compatibility of adsorptive resin material.

RESULTSIn comparison with polypropylene, he adsorptive resin material appears to be a very slight activator to the endogenous blood coagulation system, it can inhibited the exogenous blood coagulation system very significantly (P < 0.01), it can adhere to fibrinogen, red blood cells, reticulocytes very significantly (P < 0.01), and platelet significantly (P < 0.05). The adsorptive resin material is also revealed to be a very significant activator (P < 0.01) to the complement system.

CONCLUSIONSThe in vitro blood compatibility assessment witnesses that it is very necessary for the adsorptive resin material to go through the certain special processing(such as the surface modification and the microencapsulation technology, etc) before its application to human being.

Objective:To discuss the clinical effect of preoperative interventional chemotherapy and pathological changes in uterine cervical cancer.Methods:preoperative interventional chemotherapy by femoral intubatton were done in 21 patients with uterine cervical cancer.The project of chemotherapy was bleomycin 45mg and cisplatin or oxaliplatin 80mg/m2.Rusults:21 cases of uterine cervical cancer including 7 cases ofⅠstage and 14 cases of Ⅱstage received one or two times of preoperative interventional chemotherapy.All of the patients successfully completed cervical cancer radical therapy.All of the specimens were sent for pathological examination.A lot of lymphocyte cells infiltration and necrosis were found in the cancer tissues.Conclusion:preoperative interventional chemotherapy for uterine cervical cancer proves to reduce the local cancer size as well as decrease the bleeding of cancer.The patients can receive cervical cancer radical therapy after the interventional chemotherapy.

OBJECTIVE To understand infection status and drug resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) in female genitourinary tract in the local region.METHODS The results of mycoplasma cultivation and susceptibility tests of female vaginal secretions specimen in 409 cases during from Sep 2007 to Apr 2008 were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS Among 409 cases,the positive rates were mycoplasma cultivation(57.2%).Uu(72.6%),Mh(3.4%) and combined infection(23.9%).Drug resistance of Uu to ten kinds of common antibiotics showed that minocycline
