Objective To study the effects of low-temperature environment on the contents of serum protein, serum calcium and blood sugar in rabbits. Methods The rabbits were divided into three experiment groups, which were exposed to environment at 2, -4 and -6 ℃ respectively and one control group exposed to environment at room temperature of 16 ℃. After exposure for 30~60 min, the peripheral blood samples were collected from rabbits for determination of levels of blood sugar, serum protein and calcium. The anal temperatures and ECG of rabbits were also examined. Results The levels of blood sugar, serum protein and calcium of rabbits in experiment groups decreased with the decrease of environmental temperatures, and revealed significant differences compared with those of control group(P

Objective:To study the clinico-pathologic characteristics, molecular phenotypes, and prognosis of young breast can-cer patients. Methods:Data from 133 low-age (age≤30 years) young breast cancer patients and 117 young (31 years≤age≤35 years) breast cancer patients who underwent surgery between January 2002 and December 2009 were reviewed. Cases of the middle and old-age elderly (age>35 years) breast cancer patients during the corresponding period were randomly selected as matched controls. The clinico-pathologic characteristics, molecular phenotypes, and prognosis were retrospectively analyzed. Results:The low-age young and young breast cancer patients significantly differed from the elderly patients in terms of tumor size, lymph node metastasis, histological grading, molecular phenotype, and relapse (P<0.05). The low-age young patients are more vulnerable to have triple-negative breast can-cer, recurrence, and distant metastasis (P<0.001). Moreover, the low-age young patients have lower overall survival and disease-free survival than the other groups (P<0.05). Conclusion:Young breast cancer patients have poor prognosis compared with the elderly. Ear-ly screening and prompt treatment are necessary for young breast cancer patients.

Using the animal model of acute myocardial infarction of rabbit after left coronary artery ligation, the authors studied the reltionship between the change of myocardial K~+/Na~+ ,Mg~(2+)/Ca~(2+), and Zn~(2+)/Cu~(2+) ratio and the time after acute myocardial infarction. The results demonstrated that. (1)the K+/Na~+ and Mg~(2+)/Ca~(2+)ratio dropped with prolongation of time myocardial ischemia. There was significant (P0.05)difference of Zn~(2+)/Cu~(2+) ratio between the experimental groups and the control group, but Zn~(2+)/Cu~(2+) ratio showed a tendency of dropping with prolongation of time of ischemia in the experimental group. At 120 min of myocardial ischemia, the Zn~(2+)/Cu~(2+) ratio was abour 1/2 as those at 15min, 30min, and 60min(P

It is no doubt that informed consent is the due right of voluntary blood donors, and valid disclosure is the obligatory duty of blood collection and supply agencies. Although various standards and guidelines on informed consent for blood donors were issued by many countries and international organizations, but the necessary and appropriate constituent elements for valid disclosure are not consistent. Moreover, the elements are evolving constantly and continuously with social changes. This paper discusses the current elements and gives practical suggestions of informed consent for blood donors at home and abroad.

Morita therapy has been bom for more than 100 years.Inpatient Morita therapy is highly oper-able and easy to master. It can improve many refractory neuroses through four-stage treatment. But more neuroses are treated in outpatient clinics, and Morita therapy cannot be used in hospitalized patients. Therefore, the formula-tion of expert opinions on outpatient operations is particularly important. This paper is based on domestic and for-eign references, and after many discussions by domestic Morita therapy experts, and then drew up the first version of the expert opinions on operation of outpatient Morita therapy.Meanwhile the operation rule of Morita therapy in three stages of outpatient treatment was formulated:in the etiological analysis stage, under the theoretical guidance of Morita therapy, analyze the pathogenic factors,to improve treatment compliance and reduce resistance;during the operating stage, guide patients to engage in constructive and meaningful actions, realizing the achievement of letting nature take its course principle;in the cultivating character and enriching life stage, pay attention to positive infor-mation,expanding the scope and content of actions, improving the ability to adapt to complex life, and preventing recurrence caused by insufficient abilities. It will lay a foundation for the promotion of Morita therapy in domestic outpatient clinics,so that more patients with neurosis and other psychological diseases could receive characteristic Morita therapy treatment in outpatient clinics.
