Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(7):846-849
Objective: To develop methods for determining the disintegration time of oral disintegrating tablets (ODTs) of Chinese herbal drug, and to select the evaluation method with good reproducibility, resolving power, and in vivo and in vitro correlation. Methods: Several placebo ODTs and Chinese herbal drug ODTs were prepared. Their in vitro disintegration time was determined by self-developed method and routine methods, and the results were compared with the oral disintegration time. The reproducibility, resolving power, and the correlation between in vivo and in vitro of those methods were evaluated. Results = Different determination methods obtained different disintegration results of the same tablet. Graduated cylinder and improved disintegration apparatus both had shortcomings and their determination results were very different from that of the oral disintegration time. Our self-developed disintegration device could better determine the disintegration ability of the ODTs, and the result was closer to the oral disintegration time, with clear end point of disintegration and better reproducibility, resolving power, and the in vivo and in vitro correlation compared with other methods. Conclusion: Our self-developed device is suitable to determine in vitro disintegration time of ODTs, and may serve as a reference for quality control of ODTs.

Despite the progress in the comprehensive management of colorectal cancer, locally advanced (T3 and T4 stages) and metastatic colorectal cancer is still a challenging problem.Although researches on neoadjuvant therapy and targeted therapy have obtained many encouraging results, many unanswered questions still remain. These include the indication of multivisceral resection for locally advanced colorectal cancer, the optimal management of patients with hepatic and (or) pulmonary metastasis.R0 resection was the first choice for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer, but it is only suitable for selected patients.Chemotherapy and targeted therapy are effective in converting some unresectable liver metastasis into resectable disease. This review focuses on recent improvements in the management of locally advanced colorectal cancer,as well as the management of hepatic and (or) pulmonary metastasis.

Objective To explore and establish the effective model of assessment for residen-cy training. Methods Totally 181 residents completed general specialist stage of resident training of Liaoning province in 2010. Assessment process was designed and implemented for general specialist training stage, including theory exam (basic knowledge, professional knowledge and public knowledge) and objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) (standardized patient(SP), computer-based case simulations(CCS) and clinical skills operation). T test and variance analysis were used and P≤0.05 stands for statistically significant difference. Results The total results consisted of two parts, theory examination results (40.00%) and OSCE results (60.00%) and two students failed the examination. The mean score of OSCE was up to standard (66.58±5.50). The mean score of SP and CCS was close to standard. The mean score of clinical skills operation reached a good level. In terms of the OSCE, SP examination and CCS examination, the performance of residents from the two universities had sig-nificant difference (t=3.818, P=0.000; t=5.581, P=0.000; t=5.419, P=0.013) and the performance of residents from the five hospitals also had significant differences. Conclusions The assessment of standardized resident training is improving gradually. Through the widespread application of OSCE in the assessment;it could be helpful to the clinical training of residents.

Objective To evaluate VISER as a non invasive monitoring of penile cavernosal pressure for the diagnosis of ED. Methods With the use of AVSS and papaverine ICI,39 cases, including 32 patients of ED and 7 controls, were tested with VISER device. Results 7 controls and 13 ED cases (40%) have achieved a valid erection by AVSS alone while another 13 ED cases required papaverine ICI (10 mg) for successful erection whereas 6 of ED cases failed what so ever. The VISER testing showed the erection data and peak data indexes, especially in total energy of erection and peak, were higher in controls than ED groups except the average duration of erection being longer in ED papaverine group. Conclusions VISER is an accurate system for measuring the changes of intracavernosal pressure in dynamic state during penile tumescence. The use of eye glasses TV monitor can help enhance the effectiveness of AVSS and lower the dosage of vasoactive drugs.VISER testing is non invasive, accurate and easy to perform and might serve as a screening test for ED patients in the near future.

Methods 97 cases with HD were included in this study. The morphological and numeral change of the neuron and ganglion cell of the lesions was observed and compared with the normal controls.NSE and S-100 protein immunohistochemical markers were performed in 21 cases.Result The number of the neuron and ganglion cell of allied HD was statistically significantly higher than those in the normal control or HD group (P
9. Application of sequential pattern mining to assessment of psychological crisis intervention skills
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2020;40(3):368-372
Objective: To explore the application of sequential pattern mining to the field of mental health, and analyze the role of the courses in improving the crisis intervention skills of mental health service personnel. Methods: The learning log data recorded by the online learning platform was used for sequential pattern mining, and the activity map was used to visually analyze the learning paths of learners with different learning performances. Results: In each case study, the number of high-frequency sequences of learners with different learning performance had significant differences, which were high-performance group > medium-performance group > low-performance group. In the crisis intervention consultation learning process, the high-performance group learners had the most diverse learning paths; the medium-performance group lacked the mastery of the several specific steps of the six-step model of crisis intervention, and the learning path integrity was poor; the low-performance group did not have a complete learning path. Conclusion: Diversified crisis intervention strategies are conducive to the smooth progress of the consultation process. Learners with different learning performance should develop corresponding skills development strategies according to their learning characteristics.
10. Influence of emotional intelligence on behavior performance in crisis intervention situations
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2020;40(1):101-106
Objective:To explore the effect of emotional intelligence on the behavioral performance in crisis intervention, taking the knowledge and skills learning performance of crisis intervention as the mediating variable. Methods:Based on the sequential pattern analysis and comprehensive evaluation of learning performance in the previous study, Emotional Intelligence Scale was used to collect the emotional intelligence of 104 mental health service personnel. The mediating effect model was used to analyze the relationship among personal traits, learning performance and behavior performance. Results:There was no direct correlation between emotional intelligence and behavior performance (r=-0.016, P=0.869). The knowledge and skills learning performance of crisis intervention in identifying problems, providing support and coping strategy played a complete mediating role between emotional intelligence and behavior, with indirect effects of a1b1=-0.052 (P=0.010, 95% CI -0.126 - -0.010), a2b2=0.139 (P=0.000, 95% CI 0.063 - 0.259), and a3b3=0.087 (P=0.012, 95% CI 0.019 - 0.186). Conclusion:Emotional intelligence interferes in behavioral pattern by affecting crisis intervention learning performance, but influence relationships are inconsistent.
