Objective To preliminarily evaluate the performance and species specificity of Candida spp.latex immunochromatography kit for detecting Candida spp.in vaginal secretion.Methods The vaginal secretions in 354 cases of suspected vaginitis and 9 genus of 22 species of common vaginal infecting organisms were by adopting the smear/Gram staining and Candida spp.kit.The results were compared with those detected by smear/Gram staining semi-quantitative method.The detection performance and species specificity of Candida spp.kit for detecting clinical specimens were evaluated.Results Compared with the smear/Gram staining method,the sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of Candida sp.kit were 93.81%,99.10%,97.31%,98.14% and 96.90%,respectively;compared the smear/Gram staining semiquantitative method,the Candida spp.kit for detecting Candida spp.in vaginal secretion still had higher specificity and acceptable sensitivity when the Candida spp.concentration was lower in specimens;in the speciese specificity evaluation,6 kinds of Candida spp.were positive and other 16 kinds of common vaginal infecting organisms all were negative.Conclusion The Candida spp.kit for detecting Candida spp.in vaginal secretion has higher clinical and species specificity,sensivity,positive prediction value and negative prediction value.

Objective To establish the ranges of normal reference values of fetal brainstem-vermis angle (BVA)and brainstem-tentorium angle (BTA)in normal fetuses at different gestational weeks,and to evaluate their clinical values in the diagnosis of mega cisterna magna.Methods Totally 320 normal singleton fetuses between 1 8 and 40 weeks of gestation were enrolled in this study.Three-dimensional ultrasound (3DUS)with volume contrast imaging (VCI)was used to measure their BVA and BTA,the correlations of BVA and BTA with gestational age were analyzed.The BVA and BTA of 24 fetuses with mega cisterna magna were also measured and were compared with those of the normal fetuses.Results In these normal fetuses,the BVA and BTA showed no correlations with gestational age (r=-0.05,0.04,both P >0.05);the ranges of normal reference values of BVA and BTA were 2.23°-19.30°and 18.53°-48.13°, respectively.The BVA and BTA of 24 fetuses with mega cisterna magna were 4.23°-17.42°and 20.41°-40.89°,respectively,which were not significantly different from those of normal fetuses (t =-0.55,0.92, both P >0.05).Conclusions 3DUS with VCI is feasible for measuring the BVA and BTA of fetuses,and the measured values can be used as the reference standards for BVA and BTA measurement in China.

Objective To investigate the effects of β1-adrenergic receptor autoantibodies (β1-AA) on the proliferation of different subtypes of T lymphocytes in patients with heart failure .Methods β1-AA-positive IgG antibodies isolated from patients with heart failure were purified by using affinity chromatog -raphy.CD3 +CD4 +T and CD3 +CD8 +T lymphocytes were sorted by flow cytometry analysis .The prolifera-tion of different subtypes of T lymphocytes was tested by using CCK-8 kit.Tests for lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH) level and cell apoptosis were performed to evaluate T lymphocytes damage .Results The prolifera-tion of activated lymphocytes was inhibited by β1-AA isolated from the serum of patients with heart failure in a concentration dependent manner , but it could be blocked by β1 receptor blocker .The damage of lympho-cytes induced by β1-AA was increased.Moreover, β1-AA promoted the necrosis and apoptosis of CD 3 +CD4 +T and CD3 +CD8 +T lymphocytes and thus inhibited the proliferation of them .Conclusion β1-AA isolated from the serum of patients with heart failure inhibited the proliferation of CD 3 +CD4 +T and CD3 +CD8 +T lymphocytes through increasing the necrosis and apoptosis of them .This study suggests that β1-AA might induce immune disorders in addition to causing pathological changes in heart tissues .

OBJECTIVE:To investigate clinical efficacy and adverse reactions(ADRs)of 4 kinds of the second-generation anti-psychotic drugs in the treatment of acute phase of schizophrenia. METHODS:159 patients with schizophrenia were randomly divid-ed into risperidone group(40 cases),olanzapine group(40 cases),aripiprazole group(39 cases)and ziprasidone group(40 cas-es). All groups were given routine dosage of relevant medicine by routine usage for 6 weeks. Mental status of patients were mea-sured by PANSS before treatment and after 2,4 and 6 weeks of treatment. At the same time,blood glucose,blood lipid,prolac-tion and other metabolic and biological indicators were all detected. RSESE,BARS and UKU were adopted to evaluate ADR. RE-SULTS:A total of 100 patients completed the study. Compared with aripiprazole group and ziprasidone group,risperidone and olan-zapine inhibited symptom more rapidly,with statistical significance (P<0.05). After treatment,body mass index and abdominal circumference of olanzapine group were significantly higher than those of other 3 groups,with statistical significance (P<0.05). Low density lipoprotein of olanzapine group was increased significantly,there was statistical significance compared to ziprasidone group and aripiprazole group(P<0.05). Prolactin level of risperidone group was significantly higher than those of other 3 groups, while that of aripiprazole group was significantly lower than those of other 3 groups,with statistical significance(P<0.05). ADRs of 4 drugs were mild or moderate,most of whom could be alleviated by symptomatic treatment. CONCLUSIONS:In the treatment of acute phase schizophrenia,4 drugs of the second-generation have similar curative effect in symptoms control,among which ris-peridone and olanzapine inhibit positive symptom more rapidly while more ADRs that related to lipid and glucose metabolism and prolactin also show. Aripiprazole and ziprasidone induce less ADRs relatively,and patients show better tolerability. Physicians should consider all kinds of factors in drugs selection,and make individualized treatment plan.

Objective To analyze and compare the differences in application of 24-hour dietary recall and dietary balance index (DBI) in dietary survey and evaluation of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,meanwhile investigate their nutrition status.Method This was a cross-sectional study.A total of 100 type 2 diabetes inpatients at the age of 19-59 were recruited from Shanghai Jiaotong University Affiliated Sixth People's Hospital from December 2013 to February 2014.They were surveyed and evaluated by 24-hour dietary recall and DBI respectively.Result The micronutrient intake in patients with type 2 diabetes was not sufficient.Compared with RNI,the intake of vitamin B1,B2,and calcium was less than 50％.The average of DBI lower bound score (DBI-LBS) of the 100 patients was 32.1±6.1,65％; the patients were in moderate or severe deficit of food intake.DBI higher bound score (DBI-HBS) was 4.4±2.8.No significant excess intake problem was found.Dietary quality distance was 36.4±6.9.Eighty-seven percent of them had a dietary patterns of mode B.Conclusion Dietary patterns in type 2 diabetes patients were not reasonable.Nutrition education and nutrition intervention for type 2 diabetes should be emphasized.The two methods can be used to evaluate dietary quality independently,but it would be better to evaluate the quality of the patients' diet using two dietary survey methods together.

Objective To investigate the effect of enriched environment (EE) on behavior and expression of mitogenactivated protein kinase phosphatase-1 (MKP-1) in hippocampus of depression rats induced by chronic unpredicted mild stress (CUS) and to provide clues for the molecular mechanism of treating depression.Methods Forty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control group,CUS group,fluoxetine group and EE group,with 10 rats in each group.The rats in CUS group,fluoxetine group and EE group were given 8 weeks of CUS,and from the fifth week,the rats in EE group and fluoxetine group were given EE and fluoxetine for 4 weeks,respectively.The changes of behavioristic of the rats in the four groups were evaluated by body mass gain,open field test,and sucrose preference.The expression of MKP-1 in hippocampus was detected by Western blot.Results There was no significant difference in body mass,distance of horizontal movement,the number of upright,the times of passing through the grid and sucrose preference index among the four groups(P ＞ 0.05).After modeling,compared with the control group,the body mass gain,distance of horizontal movement,the number of up-right,the times of passing through the grid and sucrose preference index in the CUS group,fluoxetine group and EE group were decreased significantly(P ＜ 0.05);there was no significant difference in the body mass gain,distance of horizontal movement,the number of up-right,the times of passing through the grid and sucrose preference index among the CUS group,fluoxetine group and EE group(P ＞ 0.05).After intervening by fluoxetine and EE,the body mass gain,distance of horizontal movement,the number of up-right,the times of passing through the grid and sucrose preference index in the CUS group were lower than those in the control group(P ＜0.05);but there was no significant difference in the body mass gain,distance of horizontal movement,the number of up-right,the times of passing through the grid and sucrose preference index between the control group and the fluoxetine group and EE group(P ＞ 0.05).Compared with the CUS group,the body mass gain,distance of horizontal movement,the number of up-right,the times of passing through the grid and sucrose preference index in the fluoxetine group and EE group were higher(P ＜ 0.05);there was no significant difference in the body mass gain,distance of horizontal movement,the number of up-right,the times of passing through the grid and sucrose preference index between the fluoxetine group and EE group (P ＞ 0.05).The expression of MKP-1 in hippocampus of CUS group and EE group was higher than that in the control group (P ＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the expression of MKP-1 in hippocampus between the fluoxetine group and control group(P ＞ 0.05).Compared with the CUS group,the expression of MKP-1 in hippocampus in the fluoxetine group decreased (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in the expression of MKP-1 in hippocampus between the EE group and CUS group(P ＞0.05).Compared with the fluoxetine group,the expression of MKP-1 in hippocampus in the EE group was higher(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion EE can significantly improve depressive symptoms in rats,but it has no significant effect on MKP-1 protein expression in hippocampus,and EE may not act on depression by affecting MKP-1.

Objective To study the ages at natural menopause of the women in Jilin Province, and to illustrate its influencing factors among the women in Jilin Province.Methods Through multistage stratified cluster random sampling method,23 050 people aged from 18 to 79 years were drew from nine states(a total of 32 areas)of Jilin province.The data of these residents were collected with the questionnaire and physical examinations by face-to-face interview.The number of selected female sample was 11 098. Finally, 4 881 postmenopausal women were selected.Complex weighted computation was used to estimate the ages at natural menopause.One-way ANOVA was used to compare the ages at natural menopause of the women with different birth years. Multiple linear regression analysis were used to examine the influencing factors of the ages at natural menopause. Results The mean and median ages at natural menopause were (49.11±4.19)years and 50.00 years,respectively.There were 4 881 cases of postmenopausal women,among them the women with age at natural menopause<40 years,40 year≤age at natural menopause≤45 years,46 years≤ age at natural menopause≤53 years,age at natural menopause≥54 years and age at natural menopause missing accounted for 2.27%(111 cases),13.17%(643 cases),71.97%(3 513 cases),11.74% (573 cases),and 0.85%(41 cases),respectively.Converted to birth years by age,70-79 years old was 1933-1942 birth years,60-69 years old was 1943-1952 birth years and 57-59 years old was 1953-1955 birth years.The age at natural menopause in Jilin province was statistically significant among the women with different birth years(F=21.178,P<0.001).By SNK-q test among three different birth year groups, the age at natural menopause was different between any two groups among three different birth year groups and the ages at natural menopause of 1953-1955 birth year group,1943-1952 birth year group and 1943-1952 birth year group were 50.38 years,49.51 years and 48.81 years.The age at natural menopause in urban of Jilin province was statistically significant among the women with different birth years(F=16.633,P<0.001).By SNK-q test among three different birth year groups,the age at natural menopause was different between any two groups among three different birth year groups and the ages at natural menopause of 1953-1955 birth year group,1943-1952 birth year group and 1943-1952 birth year group were 50.77 years,49.73 years,and 48.85 years,respectively.The age at natural menopause in rural of Jilin province was statistically significant among the women with different birth years(F=7.400,P=0.001 ). By SNK-q test among three different birth year groups, the age at natural menopause was different between 1953-1955 birth year group and the other two groups and the ages at natural menopause of 1953-1955 birth year group,1943-1952 birth year group and 1943-1952 birth year group were 50.09 years,49.33 years,and 48.74 years,respectively.The multiple linear regression results indicated that BMI and exercise were positively correlated with the age at natural menopause,but smoking and mental health evaluation were negatively.Consumption frequency of vegetables,fruits,bean products,and meat was no correlated with the age at natural menopause.Conclusion The differences of the ages at natural menopause between the women with different birth years are statistically significant in Jilin Province;BMI, smoking, exercise,and mental health are the influencing factors of the age at natural menopause.

Objective: To analyze the expression and clinical significance of solute carrier family 5 member 5 (SLC5A5), the coding gene of sodium/iodide symporter (NIS), in thyroid carcinoma. Methods: The messenger RNA (mRNA) expression of SLC5A5 in thyroid carcinoma and normal thyroid tissues from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) was compared using independent-sample t test and results were shown in one scatter plot. The relation between clinical features of thyroid carcinoma and the changes of SLC5A5 mRNA was analyzed on LinkedOmics using Kruskal-Wallis test or Wilcoxon test. Results: Data from TCGA showed that the SLC5A5 mRNA expression in thyroid carcinoma (1.419±0.049) was significantly reduced compared with that in normal thyroid tissues (3.301±0.087; t=12.66, P<0.01). The expression of SLC5A5 mRNA in thyroid carcinoma is affected by ethnicity (χ²=0.300, P<0.05). Moreover, the expression of SLC5A5 mRNA were decreased with the increase of pathologic grading (Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ) and T, N, M stages (χ² values: 0.114, 0.215, z values: -0.345, -0.102, all P<0.05). Conclusions The expression level of SLC5A5 mRNA is associated with clinical characteristic of thyroid carcinoma. SLC5A5 mRNA has the potential to become one candidate biomarker to assess disease and predict the development of thyroid carcinoma.

Objective To explore the changes of mineral and bone metabolism before and after renal transplantation as well as the effect of preoperative parathyroid hormone (PTH) level on postoperative mineral and bone metabolism.Methods In this retrospective analysis,we recruited 82 cases of renal transplant recipients with normal renal function and receiving kidney transplantation in our hospital from January 2011 to January 2015.All of these patients had intact PTH (iPTH) level ＞300 pg/mL.We chose 26 cases of recipients whose preoperative iPTH was more than or equal to 800 pg/mL as very high PTH group,and 56 cases of recipients whose preoperative iPTH was between 301-799 pg/mL as high PTH group.We monitored and performed analysis of the total serum calcium (Ca),serum inorganic phosphorus (P),25-(hydroxyl) vitamin D3 (25 OHD),serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP),Beta C-terminal telopeptide (β-CTX),N-terminal/midregion (N-MID) pre-and 1 month,4 months,1 year,2 years,3 years post-kidney transplantation.Results Serum total calcium in the two groups was gradually increased,returned to normal range 1 month post-transplantation and reached the plateau 4 months post-transplantation.The incidence of hypercalcemia in very high PTH group was statistically significantly higher than in high PTH group.Serum phosphorus in the two groups showed a trend of gradual decline after renal transplantation,and returned to the normal range 1 month post-transplantation.The serum phosphorus level in very high PTH group reached the plateau 4 months post-transplantation,and that in high PTH group 1 month post-transplantation.Compared with high PTH group,very high PTH group has greater The incidence of long-term hypophosphatemia after renal transplantation was significantly higher in very high PTH group then in high PTH group.iPTH,ALP,β-CTX and N-MID in the two groups showed a downward trend after renal transplantation.At first month post-transplantation,iPTH,ALP,β-CTX and N-MID levels were reduced most significantly.The average levels of the three mentioned indicators in very high PTH group were higher than in high PTH group at every time point after surgery with the difference being significant during the early post-transplantation period.The anomalies of iPTH and β-CTX levels persisted to long term after transplantation in very high PTH group.25-OHD levels in these two groups showed rising trend after renal transplantation,reached the plateau 4 months posttransplantation,but failed to achieve the ideal reference level,and no significant difference was found between two groups at any time point monitored.Conclusion The anomalies of mineral and bone metabolism after renal transplantation could persist a long time.Conclusion hyperparathyroidism in the renal transplantation plays an important role in mineral and bone metabolism.Preoperative severe HPT could continue to post-transplantation period and increase the incidence of hyperphosphatemia and hypocalcemia long term after transplantation,which may aggravate bone turnover and this effect can last a long time after transplantation.

Objective To investigate the value of prenatally quantitative sonography in diagnosing clubfoot.Methods By routine sonography totally 32 feet diagnosed doubtfully with clubfoot were chosen as case group,and 414 normal feet between 16 and 38 weeks'gestation were enrolled in control group stochastically.The length of foot(FL)and width of the foot(FW)in both group were measured,and then the length-to-width ratio(FL、FW)was calculated.On the basis of the research of Glotzbecker,the angle that the long-axis of the foot made with the long-axis of the lower leg was measured and classified into mild, moderate,severe degree in control group.The length and width of the foot and the length-to-width ratio in both groups were compared.After birth,the fetuses of case group were followed up and Dimeglio score was recorded.The FL、FW and the angle that the long-axis of the foot made with the long-axis of the lower leg were subjected to the correlation analysis with Dimeglio score,respectively.Results Twenty-six of the 32 feet with prenatal diagnosis had a clubfoot documented at birth(false positive equals to 18.8%).According to Glotzbecker's classification,13,13 and 5 of 32 feet respectively were classified as mild,moderate,severe degree.The FL and FL、FW in case group were smaller than those in the other group(FL:Z=-2.10,P <0.05;FL、FW:Z=-8.46,P <0.001),and the foot width was wider(Z=-2.06,P <0.05).Significant negative correlation was identified between the FL、FW and the Dimeglio score(r =-0.600,P <0.01) and significant positive correlation was identified between the angle that the long-axis of the foot made with the long-axis of the lower leg and the Dimeglio score(r=0.764,P <0.01).Conclusions The angle that the long-axis of the foot made with the long-axis of the lower leg,FL,FW and FL、FW can provide more information for prenatally sonography in diagnosing clubfoot without more section of the examination.
