1.Exploration on Relativity in The Expression of Traditional Chinese Medicine
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2017;19(6):885-891
At present,Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) researchers and educators have not paid enough attention to relativity in the expression of TCM,so that the efficacy and clinical application methods of herbs cannot be accurately understood, causing some misleading and obstacles for clinical application and new drug discovery. This study analyzed reasons of relativity in TCM,and put forward the correct cognitive and comprehension approaches by exploring relativity of clinical diagnosis and basic theory of prescriptions. At the same time, this article focused on the relativity in the expression of efficacy of herbs, such as similar drug efficacy, efficacy intensity, site expression, efficacy description, efficacy system, efficacy level, efficacy and drug variety, toxicity and energy, efficacy and dosage forms, administration pathways. In addition, this article analyzed relativity in the expression of herbal properties, including primary and secondary relations, four properties of drugs, channel tropism, five flavours, and concerted application.Cognizing relativity in the expression of TCM with thinking way of TCM provides enlightenment for TCM researchers.

This study was aimed to set up the fingerprint chromatograms of chemical principles of Dendrobii Caulis by HPLC-DAD-ELSD. This analysis was performed at 30°C on a Dikma Cl8 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0.5% glacial acetic acid, gradient elution, at the flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1 with DAD and ELSD detection. The HPLC fingerprint of Dendrobii Caulis was established. And 9 fingerprint peaks were marked. The similarity among different species was low. This method was stable, reliable and repeatable. It is useful for the study on the relationship between chemical components and species of Dendrobii Cauli.
