1. Virtual and experimental screening of protease activated receptor 1 antagonist in plant ingredients
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2014;45(10):1427-1433
Objective: To find the new type of structures with protease activated receptor 1 (PAR-1) inhibition from plant ingredients. Methods: Thirty ingredients were docked into PAR-1, and then, docking score, occupied space, hydrogen bonding, and other indicators were used for virtual screening. In vitro platelet aggregation experiments in guinea pig were performed to screen the activities of all ingredients. Results: Virtual screening suggested that T30 and T21 had the prospects to inhibit PAR-1. Experiment screening showed that T21, T5, T28, and T29 have the real inhibitory effects on PAR-1. Combination analyses of virtual and experimental screening suggested the following results. Residue 258 and area III had the key effects. Hydrogen matching was required at area II. Area IV and V regions mainly need hydrophobic match. The hydrogen bonding played an important role in improving the activity. Conclusion: According to the binding mode of control drug, T21 is found. To examine the binding mode of T5, T28, and T29, their experimental activities suggest a novel action mode which provides a new direction to find the PAR-1 antagonist.

Objective To explore the surgical treatment effect reconstructing calcaneus partial defect with deep iliac circumflex artery illium lamella and sural nerve slap. Methods Sevens of calcaneus fracture with posterior part defect from July 2005 to July 2010 were rehabilitated with deep iliac circumflex artery ilium lamella whose artery were anastomosed to posterior tibial artery and whose skin were repaired with sural nerve slap. Results All patients were obtained follow-up,which ranged from 9 to 30 months with a mean of 19.5 months. Its Bohler angle maintain a range from 35 to 45 degree and foot bridge maintain its figure,as well as perfect skin.According to Maryland grades system, the result were excellent in 3 cases with score 90,good in 2 with score 85 and fair in 2 with score 75. Conclusion It is a perfect method for calcaneus trauma which lose its foot bridge to rehab its figure and function with deep iliac circumflex artery ilium lamella and sural nerve slap.

China Pharmacy 1991;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE:To offer guidance for pharmacy work and provide references for rational use of traditional Chinese medicines. METHODS: 3 425 outpatient prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicines in our hospital in 2006 were randomly collected for the analysis of the drug use pattern by tabulation method. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: The use of traditional Chinese medicines prescribed in our hospital was rational on the whole, but the prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicines for diseases of respiratory system were on the high side, and the diagnoses in the prescriptions were more like the diagnoses of west medicines but lacked the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, so that the international classification coding of disease was not suitable for traditional Chinese medicine. Medication frequency of traditional Chinese medicines serves as guidance for the dispensary of traditional Chinese medicine. The hospital information system is far from perfect.

Objective To investigate the effects of ultrasound irradiating hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT)-loaded microbubbles on apoptosis in human hepatoma SMMC-7721 cells, and to clarify its probable mechanism. Methods The SMMC-7721 cells were randomly divided into six groups as follows: control group, blank liposome microbubbles plus ultrasound, HCPT-loaded microbubbles, HCPT, HCPT plus ultrasound, and HCPT-loaded microbubbles plus ultrasound. Apoptosis was ascertained by Annexin V-Fire/ PI and TUNEL methods. The expression of Bcl-2 and Bax protein was detected by immunocytochemistry staining technique. Results In the group of HCPT-loaded microbubbles plus ultrasound, the apoptosis rate at early term was found to reach (12.18 ± 1.38)% by Annexin V-Fitc/PI assay, brown-colored positive apoptotic cells were observed and the apoptosis rate at advanced term was found to reach (34.25 ± 1.83)% with TUNEL method. The expression of Bcl-2 was found to decrease, the expression of Bax increase, and the ratio of Bcl-2/bax significantly decrease by immunocytochemistry staining technique in the same group. Differences with other groups were significant. Conclusions The method of ultrasound irradiating HCPT-loaded microbubbles can notability induce human hepatoma SMMC-7721 cells apoptosis. The decrease in the ratio of Bcl-2 to Bax might be responsible for cells apoptosis.

AIM: To study the pharmacokinetic characteristics of domestic ofloxacin tablet. METHODS: A method of deter- mination of drug concentration in urine by UV-spectrophotometry was established. RESULTS: K = 0. 1 278/h; T1, 2 = 5. 96h, Xu0-24 = 165. 84mg; (Q) = 82. 84%. CONCLUSION: This method is simple and rapid, it is suitable for pharmacokinetics study and clinical monitoring.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2011;34(6):13-15
Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of the intermittent deferoxamine therapy on relieving iron overload caused by transfusion in senile. Method Twenty-three senile with iron overload caused by transfusion were administered in a total daily dose of 20 - 50 mg/ ( kg·d ) for 5 - 6 days per week every 4 -6 weeks, the maximal dose was 2000 mg/d, add in 0.9% sodium chloride 500 ml, continuous intravenous drip for 6 h. Result Nine months after therapy, serum ferritin fell from (2771.5±735.3)μg/L to (2483.7 ±724.4) μg/L (P<0.01), and urine ferritin elevated from (9.68 ±5.39)μg/L to (12.14±5.50) μ g/L (P<0.01 ). Conclusion It shows that intermittent deferoxamine therapy can reduce the serum ferritin with no significant toxicity.

Objective To study the relationship between mental effort and personal time perspective during the process of individual changing bad habits. Methods 230 graduate students were collected to attend this longitudinal study of 21 days by experience sampling method. The data on mental effort and performance were obtained from the process of daily change of the bad behavior.Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI) was applied to graduate students. The survey results were analyzed by hierarchical linear modeling (HLM).Results In 21 days, the mental effort of subjects showed very clear downward trend, the trend of the change was statistical significant (total score(5.63±2.62),t=-5.590,P<0.01).Mental effort didn't have significant difference in five kinds of behavioral objectives (keeping early hours, exercising daily, dieting, reading daily, limiting screen time) (P>0.05).The male obviously put more effort than the female during the study(t=2.743,P<0.01).Both Present Hedonism and Futurism were inversely related to mental effort, which was statistical significant (t=-2.504,P<0.05;t=2.39,P<0.05).Both Present Fatalism and Futurism had the effects on the changing trend of the mental effort regulatory, which was statistical significant (t=-3.099,P<0.01;t=-2.400,P<0.05).Conclusion The mental effort of changing the behavior will gradually decline during the process of habit establishment. The mental effort of subjects who had present fatalism or futurism show a faster decline.
