Objective To describe the current status of the caregiver preparedness in mothers of fetus with treatable congenital malformation, and to explore its influencing factor. Methods 210 pregnant women with fetuses diagnosed with treatable congenital malformations in the obstetrics department of a tertiary specialized hospital in Dalian were selected as the study subjects by convenient sampling method from November 2022 to August 2023.The survey was conducted using the General Situation Questionnaire,Caregiver Preparedness Scale,Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, shortened Chinese version of the Family Resilience Assessment Scale and Social Support Rating Scale. The factors influencing the caregiver preparedness in mothers of fetus with treatable congenital malformation were analyzed using univariate analysis and multiple linear regression. Results Finally,201 mothers of fetuses with treatable congenital malformations were included in the study. The total score of caregiver preparedness was(20.47±6.29),among which the emergency response, management dimension and care stress dimension scored lower. It is concluded that education level, age, subjective support, use of social and economic resources and negative coping are the factors that affect the caregiver preparedness in mothers of fetus with treatable congenital malformation. Conclusion The caregiver preparedness in mothers of fetus with treatable congenital malformation needs to be improved.Medical staff should design a personalized and comprehensive nursing plan to intervene according to the factors,so as to improve the recovery and quality of life of children.

Objective To investigate the effects of atorvastatin calcium on thyroid function, immune response and C-Jun N-terminal kinase/p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (JNK/p38 MAPK) signaling pathway in rats with hypothyroidism. Methods A total of 30 healthy adult male SD rats were randomly divided into control group, hypothyroid group (PTU group) and atorvastatin calcium treatment group (ACT group), with 10 rats in each group. Rats in the PTU group and the ACT group were injected with PTU subcutaneously at the dorsum of the neck every day for 28 consecutive days; instead of PTU, rats in the control group were injected subcutaneously with 0.3 mL of saline. After 2 weeks of PTU treatment, rats in the ACT group were gavaged with 3 mL of atorvastatin calcium saline solution (containing 5 mg/kg of atorvastatin calcium), which was administered once daily; the control group was gavaged with an equal amount of saline in the same way. The body weight, food intake and water intake of rats were measured weekly. The histopathological changes of the thyroid gland were observed in histopathological sections of rats in each group. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was performed to determine the levels of triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), interferon γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) in serum; quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was performed to detect the mRNA expression levels of IFN-γ, IL-10, Foxp3 and IL-4; western blot was performed to determine the levels of p-JNK/JNK and p-p38/p38 MAPK. Results Compared with control group, PTU-induced hypothyroidism rats showed a significant decrease in body mass and food and water consumption (

Objective:To investigate the mechanism of depression between social capital and cognitive function of the elderly in nursing institutions, and provide new ideas for improving the cognitive function of the elderly. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional survey. Using the convenient sampling method to collect the general information questionnaire, the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS), Social Capital Scale and Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA) of 218 elderly people from three elderly nursing institutions including Shenyang Health Care Centre, Songpu Nursing Home and Colourful Sunshine City Pension Service Centre in Shenyang from July 2020 to January 2021.Results:A total of 218 questionnaires were distributed and 202 valid questionnaires were recovered. The effective recovery rate was 92.7%. The scores of the cognitive function, depression and social capital of the elderly were (23.60 ± 4.25), (6.38 ± 4.35) and (75.41 ± 8.61). Depression scores were negatively correlated with social capital scores and cognitive function scores ( r = - 0.401, - 0.481, both P<0.05); there was a positive correlation between social capital scores with cognitive function scores ( r = 0.338, P<0.05). There was a mediating effect of depression between social capital and cognitive function, accounting for 42.1%. Conclusions:While improving the cognitive function of the elderly in nursing institutions by improving the level of social capital, it is necessary to pay attention to the mediatingeffect of depression, strengthen the psychological counseling of the elderly, promote mental health, and further reduce the occurrence and development of cognitive decline in the elderly.

Objective:To explore the status of sense of research gain in nursing postgraduates, and to explore the correlation of sense of research gain, learning engagement, and mentors' guidance behavior. Methods:From April to May 2022, a total of 238 nursing postgraduates in China were selected as the research objects by convenience sampling method, and were investigated using Sense of Research Gain, Utrech Work Engagement Scale-Student and Mentors' Guidance Behavior Scale. Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation of learning engagement, mentors' guidance behavior and sense of research gain in nursing postgraduates. Hierarchical linear regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of sense of research gain. A total of 238 questionnaires were distributed in this study, and 231 valid questionnaires were received, with an effective recovery rate of 97.06%.Results:The score of Utrech Work Engagement Scale-Student in nursing postgraduates was (31.47±6.01) , the score of Sense of Research Gain was (63.47±17.07) , and the score of Mentors' Guidance Behavior Scale was (50.90±11.10) . Pearson correlation analysis results showed that the total score and each dimension score of Sense of Research Gain and Mentors' Guidance Behavior Scale were positively correlated with the total score and each dimension score of Utrech Work Engagement Scale-Student ( r value were 0.351-0.662, P all <0.01) . Hierarchical linear regression analysis results showed that mentor's title, learning engagement and mentor's guidance behavior were the influencing factors of sense of research gain in nursing postgraduates ( P<0.05) , which could explain 55.60% of the variation of the sense of research gain. Conclusions:The sense of research gain of nursing postgraduates still needs to be improved. Mentor's title as professor, learning engagement and mentor's guidance behavior were the influencing factors of sense of research gain in nursing postgraduates. School should strengthen the level of learning engagement of nursing postgraduates, standardize mentor's guidance behavior, so as to improve sense of research gain.
