Objective To observe the effect of Weici acupuncture on shoulder-hand syndrome after acute stroke.Methods 90 cases were divided into two groups:the test group(49 cases) who were treated with Weici(a kind of acupuncture) and the control group(41 cases) who were treated with the normal acupuncture.Results The total effective ratio of the test group was 93.88%,and that of the control group was 73.17%(χ2=7.2863,P<0.01).Conclusion Weici acupuncture is more affective on shoulder-hand syndrome after acute stroke than the normal acupuncture.

目的观察功能锻炼对神经根型颈椎病恢复期的作用和效果。方法患者随机分为试验组49例和对照组48例。试验组采用体育保健学的锻炼方法结合常规手法整复,对照组只采用与试验组相同的手法整复。结果两组间基线资料无显著性差异(P>0.05)。试验组的总有效率为89.8%,对照组的总有效率为56.3%(P<0.01),试验组治疗前后症状积分明显优于对照组(P<0.01)。结论主动锻炼有助于改善神经根型颈椎病疗效。

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of the Partner Rehabilitation Gymnastics on periarthritis of shoulder in later stage. MethodsPatients were randomly divided into 2 groups: 60 in treatment group accepted the Partner Rehabilitation Gymnastics, and the other 60 accepted the forcing active and passive physiotherapy.Results76.66% of the treatment group recovered, 96.66% improved; while 45% of the control group recovered, 73.33% improved. The scores of visual analogous scale and activity of daily living improved after treatment in both groups, and the differences pre- and post-treatment were more in treatment group than in control group. ConclusionThe Partner Rehabilitation Gymnastics is more effective than the routine forcing active and passive physiotherapy on periarthritis of shoulder.

Objective To study the photodynamic therapeutical efficacy of a novel photosensitizer DTP on sensitive gastric cancer cells (SGC7901) and vincristine-resistant gastric cancer cells (SGC7901/VCR).Methods The P-gp expression on the SGC7901 and SGC7901/VCR cell membrane was indirectly confirmed by fluorescence microscopy.The survival rates of SGC7901 and SGC7901/VCR cells were evaluated by cell counting kit (CCK-8) after photodynamic therapy with DTP.The intracellular DTP uptake levels of two types of cell were determined using a fluorescence spectrophotometer,and the intracellular DTP distributions were observed by laser scanning confocal microscopy.Results The novel photosensitizer DTP has considerable photodynamic cytotoxic effect on SGC7901 and SGC7901/VCR cells.However,this effect on the SGC7901NCR cells was relatively weak (P＜0.05),and could not be enhanced by P-gp inhibitor verapamil or cyclosporine A(P＞0.05).The DTP uptake level in SGC7901 cells was higher than that in SGC7901/VCR cells (P＜0.05),and could not be enhanced by P-gp inhibitor verapamil and cyclosporin A (P＞0.05).It was found that DTP distributed in the lysosomes of SGC7901 cells and in the lysosomes and mitochondria of SGC7901/VCR cells.Conclusions The novel photosensitizer DTP is not the substrate of multidrug transporter P-gp,and its weaker photodynamic cytotoxic effect on SGC7901/VCR cells is independent of the P-gp overexpression on its cell membrane,which may be related to the distribution of intracellular DTP in the two types of cell.

Objective To study the molecular recognition of porphyrin compounds with carbohydrate molecular. Methods Fluorescent titration method was developed to explore the porphyrin and its metal porphyrin compounds interaction with carbohydrate compounds. Results The binding constants indicated that porphyrin and its metal compounds involved in this experiment could recognize carbohydrate compounds respectively, and interaction with lactose is stronger than glucose; Comparison with free porphyrin, metal ion Zn~(2+) and Fe~(3+) in the core of porphyrin compounds could enhance the binding capability with carbohydrate. Conclusion Porphyrin compounds has selective molecular recognition abilityto sugar molecular.

Objective To evaluation of the result of transplantation of BDNF gene transfected olfactory ensheathing cells (OECs) to repair spinal cord injury (SCI). Methods The rat with SCI were divided into non-OECs, OECs and transfected OECs groups. The evidences of anatomical regeneration across the transection site were demonstrated by both neuronal tracing and immunohistochemical methods. Results 12w after implantation the retrograde labeling study with flurogold showed abundant labeled neurons in the superior part of CNS. There were a lot of labeled neurons in the intermediate zone and dorsal column of lower thoracic spinal cord rostral to the transection site. Labeled neurons were also observed in the upper thoracic and cervical spinal cord, reticular nucleus and raphe nucleus of oblongata, as well as reticular nucleus and parabrachial nucleus of pons. The anterograde labeling of PHA-L showed that regenerated fibers of upper neurons overcame glial scar and regrew into the distal part of spinal cord through the grafts. Some labeled fibers extended long enough to the caudal gray matter of the transected site. Conclusion The implantation of OECs transfected by BDNF gene may benefit the survival and regeneration of the injured axons, and accelerate the repair of the injured spinal cord in a more efficient way than that with OECs alone.

Objective To explore photodynamic therapeutic efficiency and related mechanisms of a new porphyrin-typed photodynamic therapy (PDT) drug synthesized in our lab on HGC27 and MGC803 cells.Methods Two different kinds of gastric cancer cells, HGC27 and MGC803, were chosen as cell lines to evaluate the PDT efficiency of new porphyrin-typed PDT drug based upon four group experiments: control (no drug, no light) group, drug treated group (only drug, no light), light treated group (no drug, only light) and experiment group (with drug and light at the same time). Bleaching method was used to evaluate the photostability of new porphyrin-typed PDT drug upon repititive illumination. MTT assay was carried out to test the survival rate of tumor cells after PDT. Cofocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM) was applied to observe subcellular localization of drug in HGC27 and MGC803 cells (mitochondria and lysosome). Results New porphyrin-typed PDT drug has good stability to light, no toxicity on HGC27 and MGC803 cells without light (P>0.05), while intense lethal effect was observed upon light illumination (P<0.05). The peak efficacy appeared when concentration is 3.12 μmol/L for both HGC27 and MGC803 cells and the new porphyrin-typed PDT drug localizes in lysosome other than traditional mitochondrion. Conclusion New porphyrin-typed PDT drug is a good photodynamic therapeutic sensitizer for HGC27 and MGC803 tumor cells.

Objective Porphyrin, when conjugated with glucose, will be improved in its water solubility and biocompatibility. Methods In this paper, based on 4- (2, 3, 4, 6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucosyloxy)benzaldehyde and pyrrole, glucose conjugated porphyrins were synthesized in an optimized process, while porphyrin dimer was synthesized by the Ag-promoted coupling reaction of glycoconjugated porphyrin monomer.Results The compounds were characterized by 1H NMR and MS. Results showed that porphyrin conjugated with two glucose units has slight water solubility, while porphyrin conjugated with three or four glucose units has excellent water solubility. Conclusion Glucoconjugation improves water-solubility of porphyrins, which will enlarge its application in biological fields.

Objective To develop liposome loaded with paclitaxel for the treatment of lung cancer,novel phosphatidyl polyethyleneglycol monomethyl ether liposomes were prepared and studied.Methods A series of phosphatidyl polyethyleneglycol monomethyl ether liposomes were synthesized.Liposomes with or without drug were prepared by ultrasound.The entrapment efficiency and size of drug loaded liposomes were evaluated.The influence of liposomes to A549 lung cancer cell was investigated by MTT method.The cell uptake of liposome was observed by laser confocal scan microscope.Results The liposome loaded with paclitaxel had an entrapment efficiency of 83％ and size of 100～200 nm.The MTT results showed phosphatidyl polyethyleneglycol monomethyl ether liposomes loaded paclitaxel have inhibition effect to A549 cells with long circulation,while liposomes without paclitaxel have not inhibition effect.Conclusion Drug loaded polyethyleneglycol monomethyl ether liposomes have sustained delivery to paclitaxel.They have potential application in the therapy of cancer.
