【Objective】To observe the therapeutic effect of Qi-strengthening and yin-nourishing,stasis-removing and regeneration-promoting therapy for clinical diabetic nephropathy(CDN)and to explore its mechanism.【Methods】Eighty CDN patients with Qi-yin deficiency and stasis blocking kidney collaterals were randomized into groups A and B at the proportion of 3∶1 by using random number table.Group B(n=20)was given routine western treatment involving decreasing blood glucose, blood pressure and blood lipid, taking good quality diet with low protein, regulating water-electrolyte disturbance and acid-base balance, and preventing and curing complicated infection.Group A(n=60)was treated with Qi-strengthening and yin-nourishing,stasis-removing and regeneration-promoting herbal medicine(mainly composed of Radix Astragali,Fructus Mori,Radix Scrophulariae,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,Stigma Maydis and Rhizoma Chuanxiong). After treatment, the therapeutic effect was compared in the two groups.Meanwhile, the changes of fasting blood glucose, renal kidney,24-hour urinary protein, blood rheology, blood lipid and fibrinogen(FIB),as well as plasma endothelin 1(ET-1),tumor necrosis factor ?(TNF-?)and interleukin 1(IL-1)were observed.【Results】Qi-strengthening and yin-nourishing,stasis-removing and regeneration-promoting herbal medicine relieved the symptoms and signs of the patients, decreased 24-hour urinary protein content, and improved the renal function parameters in renal compensatory and decompensatory stages. The herbal medicine could also decrease blood lipid and fasting blood glucose levels, improve blood rheology indexes, and decrease serum IL-1 and ET-1 levels(P

[Objective] To investigate the therapeutic effect of Phyllanthus compound (PC, mainly composed of Herba Phyllanthus, Radix Astragali, Radix Notoginseng, Radix Glycyrrhizae, etc.) and lamivudine on chronic hepatitis B. [ Methods ] Sixty cases of chronic hepatitis B were randomized to two groups: group A (the combination of PC and lamivudine) and group B (lamivudine 100mg/d). After a six-month treatment, the therapeutic effect was evaluated. [Results] After treatment, symptoms and signs were improved in group A. The recovery rate of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) was 83.3% and 53.3%, the rate of hepatitis B E antigen (HBeAg) turning negative was 73.3% and 13.3% , the percentage of HBeAg ( - ) or anti-HBe ( + ) was 53.3% and 6.7% and HBV-DNA-turning-negative rate was 93.3% and 70.0% in groups A and B respectively (P

Objective To evaluate the protective action of Phyllanthus orinaria(PU)for immune liver injury in mice. Methods Forty-eight NIH mice were allocated randomly to high-dose(HG)PU group,low-dose(LG)PU group, bifenbate group(BG),normal control group(NCG),and model group(MG).From the first day of establishing the models,20 g ? kg-1 of PU solution was given for gastric perfusion(GP)to HG PU group,10 g ? kg-1 of PU solution for GP to LG PU group,0.15 g?kg-1 of bifenbate solution for GP to BG group, and the equal amount of normal saline to the normal control group and the model group,qd for 12 days.Serum ALT level and visceral parameters of liver and spleen were determined, and the liver pathological feature was also examined. Results The ALT level, parameters of liver and spleen were markedly decreased in BG group(P 0.05).Conclusion PU has a good effect on counteracting the immune live injury in mice by markedly decreasing the activity of serum transaminase and visceral parameters of liver and spleen, and improving the necrosis of hepatic cells.

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum levels of microRNA-130a(miR-130a),angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ)and the degree of coronary artery lesions in patients with acute coronary syn-drome(ACS).Methods A total of 160 ACS patients admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the ACS group.According to total Gensini score,ACS patients were divided into mild group(57 cases),moderate group(54 cases)and severe group(49 cases). At the same time,160 healthy peo-ple were selected as the control group. The clinical data of all subjects were collected. The serum levels of miR-130a and AngⅡ were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and enzyme-linked immunosor-bent assay, respectively. The clinical data and serum levels of miR-130a and AngⅡ were compared between control group and ACS group. The serum levels of miR-130a and AngⅡ were compared between ACS patients with different degrees of disease.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between ser-um miR-130a level and AngⅡ in ACS patients.Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of ACS.Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to analyze the diagnostic value of serum miR-130a and AngⅡ levels for moderate and severe ACS.Results Compared with the control group, the ACS group had significantly higher proportions of patients with a history of hypertension and diabetes and signifi-cantly higher serum levels of miR-130a and AngⅡ(P<0.05).The serum levels of miR-130a and AngⅡ were increased sequentially in the mild group, moderate group and severe group(P<0.05).Serum miR-130a level was positively correlated with AngⅡ level in ACS patients(P<0.05).Hypertension,diabetes history and ele-vated serum levels of miR-130a and AngⅡ were independent risk factors for ACS(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)of serum miR-130a,AngⅡ and their combination in the diagnosis of moderate ACS were 0.728,0.823 and 0.885,respectively,and the AUC of the combination of miR-130a and AngⅡ was higher than that of miR-130a,AngⅡ(P<0.05).The AUC of serum miR-130a,AngⅡ and their combination in the diagnosis of severe ACS were 0.731,0.730 and 0.825,respectively.The AUC of the combination of miR-130a and AngⅡ was higher than that of miR-130a and AngⅡ(P<0.05).Conclusion ACS patients serum miR-130-a,AngⅡ level is higher, and the serum miR-130a,AngⅡ levels are associated with the ACS degree of cor-onary artery lesions, the combination of the both degree of coronary artery lesions with high diagnostic value.
