Objective · To investigate the intention of quitting smoking and influencing factors among husbands in gestational households in Shanghai and provide a scientific basis for establishing smoking cessation strategies. Methods · Pregnant women and their spouses who received antenatal examination in 5 hospitals in Shanghai were asked to finish two versions of questionnaires respectively. Basic demographic information, smoking history, history of smoking cessation and intention of quitting smoking were investigated. The database was set up by EpiData 3.1, and data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0, such as descriptive analysis, χ2 test (univariate), and Logistic regression analysis (multivariate). Results · A total of 282 questionnaires were sent to smoking husbands and 266 effective questionnaires got back with the effective rate of 94.3%. Among them 34.2% smoking husbands had intention of quitting smoking, 18.4% were trying to quit, and 22.9% had tried to quit before. Single-factor analysis showed that influencing factors for intention of quitting smoking among smoking husbands in gestational households included the daily cigarette consumption, overall opinion for smoking, the knowledge about the harm of passive smoking to pregnant women and fetuses, having smoking cessation experience or not, how many people smoking among five intimate friends except family members (P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that intention of quitting smoking had relationship with the daily cigarette consumption (OR = 0.456, 95% CI: 0.245 ~ 0.852), overall opinion for smoking(OR=2.443, 95% CI: 1.008 ~ 5.921), having smoking cessation experience or not (OR =0.316, 95% CI: 0.162 ~ 0.616). Conclusion · Intention of quitting smoking is relatively strong in gestational households. It is recommended to strengthen the education of tobacco control for smoking husband in gestational households, and encourage smokers who had smoking cessation experience before to quit smoking again.

International Eye Science 2007;7(3):626-629
AIM: To explore the characteristic of relaxation of porcine cornea after LASIKMETHODS: Usual LASIK was performed on fresh porcine corneas with stable intraoculer pressure (IOP) maintained through optic nerve irrigation. The ablation depth on stroma is 30%, 50% and 70% respectively. Then the dumbbell-shaped corneal strip specimens were cut and stored in 20% Human Albumin solution for use (4℃).Sip up the Albumin solution on specimens, and fixed them on homemade jig. Stress relaxation tests were erformed on Tytron250 Dynamics Experiment System. the loading speed was 385mm/min,extending ratewas 1.5, and relaxation time was 1 000s. The data werecollected electronically and automatically.RESULTS: In LASIK procedure, though a single flap-cutting can cause a little reduction of corneal stress relaxation (P<0.05,P=0.49), the cornea may still remain its property of visco-elasticity. When ablation depth was 30% or more, corneal stress relaxation decreased to almost one half (P<0.01).The change of corneal stress relaxation degree in vertical meridian specimen was lower than that in horizontal specimen, especially when ablation depth was 70%, and it's statistically significant (P<0.001). In LASIK operation, the more depth the ablation, the more reduce the stress relaxation degree, and it's easy to cause deformation and creep deformation.CONCLUSION: The changes of the stress relaxation in verticai and longitudinal meridian specimens are similar, and slightly obvious in longitudinal specimen, especially in 70%ablation group.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2018;34(12):1017-1021
Objective To calculate the standardized cesarean delivery rate by considering the individual characteristics of puerprae, and to evaluate the medical quality of obstetrics in the hospital. Methods Medical records of 69 406 puerprae from January to December in 2016 were collected from 33 tertiary general hospitals in Shanxi province. A logistic regression model was used to construct a maternal risk adjustment model of cesarean delivery, with the area under the ROC curve (AUC) used to evaluate the goodness of fit of the model. Results Of the 69 406 puerprae, 30 881 used caesarean delivery, accounting to 44. 37% . The cesarean section rate difference was statistically significant among those of different age, nationality, conditions upon admission, whether to participate in a clinical pathway, fetus number, birth weight and maternal gestational age, as well as the severity of complications (P< 0. 001). According to the logistic model, those of older age, history of cesarean delivery, twins or triplet births, neonatal overweight, malposition, placenta previa, and those with various pregnancy complications tend to use maternal cesarean section surgery, with a goodness-of-fit of 0. 82. With risk adjusted, the ranking of actual cesarean section rate and standardized cesarean section rate varies among the hospitals. Conclusions With the factor of puerprae factor adjusted, the standardized cesarean delivery rate can eliminate risk factors of the puerprae, it is feasible to scientifically evaluate the cesarean delivery rate of the hospital′s obstetric department.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 2021;41(10):671-676
Objective:To explore the curative effect of surgical treatment for Crohn′s disease (CD), to investigate the timing of surgical intervention and the choice of surgical methods. Methods:From January 1, 2016 to August 31, 2020, at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, the clinical data of 123 patients with CD and receiving surgical treatment were retrospectively analyzed, which included the type of lesion, the location of lesion, clinical manifestation, surgical method, preoperative inflammatory and nutritional indicators, postoperative recovery of digestive tract function, and the development and treatment of postoperative complications. CD was diagnosed according to Consensus opinion on diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease ( Beijing 2018). Patient was classitied according to the Montreal Classification. Postoperative complications were graded according to the Clavien-Dindo Criteria. Mann-Whitney U test was used for statistical analysis. Results:Among 123 patients, according to the Montreal classification, two cases (1.6%) were diagnosed at ≤16 years old (type A1), 66 cases (53.7%) were diagnosed at 17 to 40 years old (type A2), and 55 cases (44.7%) were diagnosed at >40 years old (type A3). The lesions were 52 cases (42.3%) of terminal ileum (L1) type, 20 cases (16.3%) of colon (L2) type, and 51 cases (41.5%) of ileocolon (L3) type. Four cases (3.2%) were non-stenosis and non-penetrating (B1) type, 87 cases (70.7%) were stenosis (B2) type, and 32 cases (26.0%) were penetrating (B3) type. Eighteen patients (14.6%) underwent emergency surgery due to complete intestinal obstruction (10 cases), gastrointestinal perforation (five cases), gastrointestinal bleeding (two cases), and rectovesical fistula complicated with septic shock (one case). One hundred and five patients (85.4%) received selective surgery due to poor conservative treatment effects. 51 cases (41.5%) underwent traditional open surgery and 72 cases (58.5%) underwent laparoscopic surgery. Nineteen patients (15.4%) received temporary or permanent ostomy. The preoperative C reactive protein level of patients with emergency surgery was higher than that of patients undergoing selective surgery ((39.23±24.13) mg/L vs. (11.48±2.68) mg/L), while the levels of plasma albumin (ALB) and pre-ALB were lower than those of patients receiving selective surgery ((29.90±10.60) g/L vs. (38.38±8.30) g/L, (146.00±125.49) mg/L vs. (209.06±61.19) mg/L), and the differences were statistically significant ( Z=9.603, 8.754 and 7.111, all P<0.01). During the follow-up, a total of 23 cases (18.7%) developed postoperative complications, including one case of postoperative intra-abdominal hemorrhage and underwent re-operation (Clavien-Dindo grade Ⅲ complication); four cases of anastomotic leakage after operation; six cases of postoperative paralytic ileus; 11 cases of surgical site infection, all of which were Clavien-Dindo grade Ⅱ complications, and one case of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity. No patient with severe intraoperative complication was observed, and no patients died during the operation or hospitalization. The postoperative exhaust time of patients was (3.2±1.4) d, the time of open fluid diet was (5.8±0.8) d, the length of hospital stay was (18.0±14.1) d, and the length of postoperative hospital stay was (11.2±8.8) d. Conclusions:The concept of multidisciplinary collaboration should be emphasized in the treatment of CD. Surgical treatment can effectively control the complications and improve the quality of life of patients, but the timing of operation and the choice of surgical methods should be decided prudently after perioperative treatment, multi-disciplinary participated and regulation of the internal environment. The standardized and targeted treatments for the surgical difficulties of inflammatory bowel disease should be conducted.
8.Prevalence of comorbidity of spinal curvature abnormality and malnutrition among primary and middle school students in Tianjin in 2023
Chinese Journal of School Health 2024;45(8):1171-1175
Objective:
To analyze the prevalence of comorbidity of spinal curvature abnormality and malnutrition among primary and secondary school students aged 10-18 years in Tianjin in 2023, so as to provide scientific basis for the combined prevention of common diseases and multiple diseases among students and the construction of school health system.
Methods:
In September to October 2023, 31 884 primary and secondary school students aged 10 to 18 years in Tianjin were selected using stratified cluster random sampling. Abnormal spinal curvature in children and adolescents was assessed by Sereening of Spinal Curvature Abnormality of Children and Adolescents, while stunting, wasting, overweight, and obesity were determined according to the Screening for Malnutrition among Schoolage Children and Adolescents and Screening for Overweight and Obesity among Schoolage Children and Adolescents. The χ2 test was used to compare betweengroup differences in coprevalence, and multiple Logistic regression models were used to analyze the risk of different comorbidity types in different clusters.
Results:
The coprevalence of spinal curvature abnormality and malnutrition among primary and secondary school students in Tianjin was 1.6%, which was higher for girls than boys (1.8%, 1.4%), higher (2.5%) for senior high schools than for junior high schools and elementary schools (2.0%, 0.5%), and higher in rural than in urban areas (2.1%, 1.1%) (χ2=9.45, 141.92, 46.94, P<0.05). Multiple Logistic regression models showed that junior high school girls had a higher risk of incorrect posture comorbid with stunting and wasting (OR=4.52, 95%CI=1.84-11.06) and incorrect posture comorbid with overweight and obesity (OR=2.67, 95%CI=1.74-4.10) than boys, and that scoliosis/sagittal spinal abnormality comorbid with stunting and wasting (OR=0.10, 95%CI=0.02-0.44) risk was lower than that of boys, senior high school girls had a lower risk of scoliosis/sagittal spinal abnormality comorbid with overweight and obesity (OR=0.27, 95%CI=0.11-0.66) (P<0.05).
Conclusions
The coprevalence of spinal curvature abnormality and malnutrition is specific among primary and secondary school students in Tianjin, and the comorbidity type varies by gender and education stage. There is a need to increase prevention and control of spinal curvature abnormalities in school health working, intensive screening of key populations, and timely intervention.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2024;32(1):1-7
Objective:To evaluate the nutritional status of patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis and explore the correlation with malnutrition and the risk factors of depressed mood.Methods:190 cirrhotic patients admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from June to September 2023 were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Eligible patients were divided into subgroups based on the presence or absence of malnutrition as determined by subjective global assessment (SGA). The Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression (CES-D) scale was used to assess patients' propensity for depressed mood. Relevant clinical data were also collected and analyzed. Results:A total of 185 patients were included, of which 126 were in the non-malnutrition group and 59 malnutrition group. There were significant between-group differences in terms of CES-D results, age, body mass index, platelets, D-dimer, serum sodium, third lumbar skeletal muscle index, grip strength, triceps skinfold thickness, and upper arm muscle circumference (all P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that grip strength, triceps skinfold thickness, upper arm muscle circumference, serum sodium, and depressed mood tendency status were correlated with the development of cirrhotic malnutrition ( P<0.05). The diagnostic model for malnutrition in cirrhosis using these five indicators showed the area under the curve of 81.9%. Conclusions:Depression is closely related to the development of malnutrition in patients with liver cirrhosis. Independent risk factors for malnutrition in cirrhosis include serum sodium≤135 mmol/L, grip strength, triceps skinfold thickness, lower-than-normal upper arm circumference , and the tendency of depression , which demonstrate the combined contribution to the diagnosis of malnutrition in cirrhosis.

Objective:
To investigate the effect of thapsigargin (TG) which can induce endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) on the replication of coxsackievirus B 3 (CV-B3).
Methods:
After 10 MOI CV-B3 infected HeLa cells were exposed 0.25 μmol/L TG for 3 h, 6 h and 9 h, virus RNA of HeLa cells were extracted and viral replication was evaluated by real time PCR. After 0.25 μmol/L、0.08 μmol/L and 0.025 μmol/L TG exposed, the plaque of CV-B3 was used to confirm further replication of CV-B3. To verify TG induced ERS through three signal pathway, one of among PERK, ATF6 and IRE1 inhibitors GSK2656157, AEBSF and STF-083010, and 0.25 μmol/L TG were used in HeLa cells infected with 10 MOI CV-B3, replication of CV-B3 was evaluated by qRT-PCR.
Results:
The stimulation of TG did not induce increase of virus replication after post-infection 3 h. However, TG induced replication of virus to increase 2.5 times after post-infection 6 h and 158.6 times after post-infection 9 h. And, the area of viral plaque was significantly increased. ATF6 inhibitors AEBSF significantly inhibited promotion of virus replication from TG.
Conclusions
TG can promote the replication of CV-B3 through ATF6 signal pathway.
