Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2015;(6):700-704
Objective To investigate the expressions of RTN4 and TG2 in papillary thyroid cancer tissues and their clinical pathological significance. Methods A total of 40 samples of papillary thyroid cancer tissues and 20 samples of para‐carcinoma tissues were collected from the Department of Pathology ,Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University ,China. The expression levels of RTN4 and TG2 were detected by means of immunohistochemical staining and their relationship with clinicopathological charac‐teristics of papillary thyroid carcinoma was analyzed.SPSS 13.0 soft package was used for one‐way analysis of variance and SNK test of the average absorbance and the average positive area rate (α=0.05).Bivariate correlation analysis of the positive area rate of the expressions of RTN4 and TG2 was conducted (α=0.05).Results ①The expression levels of RTN4 and TG2 were much higher in the papillary thyroid carcinoma tissues than those in the para‐carcinoma tissues (P<0.05). ② The expres‐sion levels of RTN4 and TG2 were significantly higher in lymph node metastasis group than those in the group without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05).The positive expression rates of RTN4 and TG2 were much higher in clinical stage Ⅰand Ⅱ groups than those in clinical stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ groups (P<0.05).They were significantly increased in low differentiation group than in high or moderate differentiation group (P< 0.05).The expressions of RTN4 and TG2 were not statistically associated with tumor size ,age and sex (P>0.05). ③The positive correlation was found between the expressions of RTN4 and TG2 in papilla‐ry thyroid carcinoma tissues (r=0.587 ,P<0.05).Conclusion ① The expressions of RTN4 and TG2 were up‐regulated in pa‐pillary thyroid carcinoma tissues ,which is related with over‐proliferation and increase of apoptosis resistance of cancer cells. ②RTN4 and TG2 play an important role in the proliferation and metastasis of papillary thyroid carcinoma. ③ RTN4 and TG2 may play a synergistic role in the development of papillary thyroid carcinoma.

OBJECTIVE:To provide the reference for the improvement of GCP(good clinical practice)regulations and protection of subject's human rights.METHODS:The status quo of the protection of subject's right of informed consent and the elements for the right of informed consent and the existing problems in its practice in China were analyzed.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:China should further promote the legislation of clinical trials, reinforce the legal education of researchers, and emphasize the supervision on the illegal tort act.
3.Research progress of programmed cell death 1 and its receptor programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 in the pathogenesis of eye diseases
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2021;39(5):464-468
Programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) is an important negative costimulatory molecule discovered in recent years, which is expressed on the surface of T and B cells and plays an important role in the regulation of cellular immune response and immune tolerance. After the combination of PD-1 and its receptor programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1), negative regulatory signals are transmitted to suppress the immune response.Under the activation of stimulating factors, PD-1 and PD-L1 are combined to weaken the conduction of downstream signaling pathways such as PI3K/Akt and ERK through recruitment of phosphorylated SHP2, thereby inhibiting the proliferation of T cells and the production of cytokines, inhibiting the immune response and participating in the occurrence and development of a large number of inflammatory diseases.PD-1 in the field of ophthalmology research is still in its infancy. As far as we know, PD-1 participates in ocular inflammatory diseases such as uveitis, sympathetic ophthalmia, allergic conjunctivitis, also is involved in corneal transplant rejection, optic nerve crush injury and optic myelitis, diabetic retinopathy, thyroid related ophthalmopathy, melanoma and other diseases, thus preventing the interactions between PD-1 and its receptor PD-L1 may become a new potential target for the treatment of ocular tumor, inflammation, autoimmune and neurodegeneration disease. In this article, the latest research progress of PD-1 and its receptor PD-L1 in the pathogenesis of ocular diseases were reviewed.

Objective:To study the significancy of P27 Kip1 expression, cell apoptosis and cell cycle distribution in the evaluation of sensitivity in oral cancer chemotherapy. Methods:40 cases of oral tumor were treated with MTX,CDDP and PYM by subcutaneous implantable drug pump.Operation was performed 2~4 weeks after the induction chemotherapy. Cell cycle distribution, apoptosis and P27 Kip1 protein expression in the removed tumor tissue were detected by fllowcytometry and indirect fluoressent assay pre-and post-treatment.Results:(1)After induction chemotherapy S,G_2M and PI ration in cell cycle distribution decreased,G_0/G_1, AP and FI_ p27 increased(P

In response to problems from the development of multi-drug-resistant pathogenic bacteria,it is urgent to find new antimicrobials.Antimicrobial peptides(AMPs) are a kind of ideal new antimicrobials with the advantages including their potential for broad-spectrum activity, rapid bactericidal activity and low propensity for resistance development, and have a bright future.Alpha-helical antimicrobial peptides are a main kind of AMPs.The following features was reviewed and elucidated including the structure and activity relationship(SAR) from different aspects including the degree of helicity, hydrophobic moment, hydrophobicity, net positive charges and so on,and the application of SAR on the molecular design and improvement of AMPs.

Objective To investigate the effect of intracellular glycogen on mitochondrial respiratory function of the ischemic reperfusion hepatocytes and its values. Methods During liver ischemia-reperfusion in the 21 rabbits, the tissue ATP content, hepatic enzymological change, respiratory control ratio(RCR) and P/O ratio of hepatocellular mitonchondria were observed in liver glycogen content significantly different three groups. Results Rabbit liver tissue with the higher content of glycogen has shown the higher mitonchondrial ATP content, also showed the higher RCR and P/O ratio of hepatocellular mitonchondria and the slighter injury of liver function. Conclusion Intracellular abundant glycogen may significantly improve respiratory functon of mitochondria, which can play an important role in keeping the hepatocellular function well during liver ischemia-reperfusion.

To investigate the acute and late side effects of autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (Auto PBSCT) in children. Acute toxicity was evaluated in 21cases, according to Beurmen criteria. 11 patients who lived longer than 3 years after Auto PBSCT were followed up. Acute toxicity was mild. Growth and neuropsychological development were normal. Two children developed slight compensated hypothyroidism. Puberty was delayed in one male patient. Mild cataract was noticed in six children. Seven patients were found to suffer from hepatitis. The results suggested that pediatric patients were able to tolerate an appropriate pre conditioning regimen. Attention shoud be paid to the prevention of hepatitis.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(10):-
To treat residual or recurrent stones after operation on hepatolithiasis conveniently and effectively, a subcutaneous permanent tunnel to bile duct (SPTBD) was established in 564 cases of hepatolithiasis by using an afferent jejunum or a well-functioned gallbladder in order to provide a postoperative way to remove residual or recurrent stones through cholangioscopy. We found that by cutting SPTBD open to remove residual or recurrent stones through cholangioscopy in 96 out of 238 followed-up cases, all the patients got good clinical effects without death or complications. The results suggest that it is a good method to establish a SPTBD during operation in patient with hepatolithiasis. It is a simple and effective way to cut SPTBD open to remove residual or recurrent stones after operation.
