1.MiRNA and Alzheimer′s disease
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2021;44(5):452-456
Alzheimer′s disease (AD) is a degenerative neurodegenerative disease of the central nervous system. The disease is concealed. Patients often experienced several years or even more than ten years of course evolution from the beginning of pathological changes to clinical symptoms. Once entering the stage of dementia, there is no ideal drug to reverse the disease. In order to improve the efficiency of early diagnosis, the research on early biomarkers of the disease has become a hot topic in recent years. In addition to the Aβ and tau, microRNAs have been discovered as potential biomarkers of AD.
2.Feature Extraction of Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential Based on Wavelet Multi-resolution Analysis.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(3):514-519
We proposed a multi-resolution-wavelet-transform based method to extract brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) from the background noise and then to identify its characteristics correctly. Firstly we discussed the mother wavelet and wavelet transform algorithm and proved that bi-orthogonal wavelet bior5. 5 and stationary discrete wavelet transform (SWT) were more suitable for BAEP signals. The correlation analysis of D6 scale wavelet coefficients between single trails and the ensemble average of all trails showed that the trails with good correlation (> 0. 4) had higher signal-to-noise ratio, so that we could get a clear BAEP from a few trails by an average and wavelet filter method. Finally, we used this method to select desirable trails, extracted BAEP from every 10 trails and calculated the I-V inter-waves' latency. The results showed that this strategy of trail selection was efficient. This method can not only achieve better de-noising effect, but also greatly reduce the stimulation time needed as well.

6.Clinical presentation and diagnosis criterion of pediatric hypertension
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(13):968-971
There is a trackphenomenon in the development of hypertension and pediatric hypertension has an important predictive value for adult hypertension. However pediatric hypertension is not typical and normal blood pressure is associated with age,sex and height. The blood pressure level, clinical presentation and complication rates of secondary pediatric hypertension are higher than primary pediatric hypertension. So secondary pediatric hypertension could get timely treatment compared to primary pediatric hypertension. This paper focus on the clinical presentation and diagnosis criterion of pediatric hypertension and provide a reference for the pediatrician.
7.Progress on the rural health issues from the village community perspective:A reflection on“Study of village power and rural health service management mode”
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2015;(5):54-61
The core problem of current rural health services is a governance problem, that is, how the basic rural health resources can be used more effectively. Based on the study of history and reality, this paper suggests that in the existing “government-market” framework, the village is the third perspective worthy of consideration. Inside the village community, the trust, network and cooperation between people which were based on the traditional rural acquaintances society capital and the institutional resources in the organizations at the primary level will be able to in-crease the degree of organization, thereby reducing the transaction costs between the government or the market and rural residents. The village power will be able to better take advantage of government and market mechanisms, and thus solve the problem of rural health resource utilization more effectively.
