1.Role of Doppler ultrasound and angiography in the diagnosis of the vascular pathology in the pelvic limb
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):133-137
A retrospective study on 218 patients indicated the ultrasound Doppler to diagnose the vascular pathology in the pelvic limb has shown that the image of ultrasound found the artherosclerosis in the major arteries, which frequently occurred in the patients with the blood supply insufficiency for limb during movement. The lesion of vasculitis and arterial thrombosis and embolism only located in the minor arteries and not found by ultrasound. When finding the lesion of artherosclerosis included thrombolism in the medium or major arteries, the patients should be indicated the angiography to identify and evaluate generally for next indications

2.The renal functional change after an opened operation of the pyelonephrolithotomy for kidney stone removal
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):14-16
33 cases of renal calculus received opene surgery for pyelonephrolithotomy (the operative procedres described by L.Q. Cat and N.B. Trieu - 1971, Resnick. M.I.1981) in Urology Department of hospital Viet Duc and hospital No 103. Renal function was determined with serum, blood ure nitrogen (BUN), creatinine and creatinine clearance. Creatinine clearance was calculated up on equations of Cockroft and Gault (1976). Author compared renal function preoperatively and postoperatively (5 -7 days). There was no significant difference in serum ure nitrogen (BUN), creatinin (n= 33) between preoperative and post operative (p>0.05). There was significant in creatinine clearance postoperation (p < 0.05).

3.Synthesis of new Imidazoline derives by the ethylene diamine cyclization from nitril compounds
Journal Ho Chi Minh Medical 2005;9(4):247-252
The imidazol and imidazoline derives have many advantages in therapy. For the synthesis of new imidazoline derives, the authors implemented the ethylene diamene cyclization from nitril compounds differently substituted. Then, a dehydrogenation of these imidazolines leaded to the imidazol derives. The last reaction consisted of the condensation of these imidazolines and imidazoles. The authors subjected their synthesized products to an ophthalmic protective evaluation (anti-oedema, secondary anti-hyperemia) on the experimental ocular irritancy models

4.Studying of flavonoids in the leaves of Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2005;0(10):25-27
The study on Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall was carried out in Chi Linh (Hai Duong province) in September 2004. Leaves of Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall were collected, dried, grilled to powder, then extracted and isolated flavonoid. Two flavonoids were isolated, on the base of m.p, UV, IR, MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DEPT analyses, they were identified as Kaempferol and Quercetin. This is the first time the flavonoids were reported as a substance isolated from Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall in Vietnam

5.The fourth bronchial pouch fistula and analysis of 20 cases
Journal of Medical Research 2000;13(3):3-8
The fourth bronchial pouch fistulae is the lesion of the fourth bronchial-pharyngeal duct in development of the embryo. 20 cases of this disease were diagnosed, operated and followed-up in the institute of ENT, from 1995 to 1997. 11 females and 9 males were affected; It manifested itself by recurrent episodes neck abscess, especially on the left side (95%). 13 fistulous tracts were found on operation with 86% of retrocartilaginous course.

7.Pleural effusion due to paragonimiasis
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):37-38
A patient was admitted to Department of Pneumology of B¹ch Mai hospital because of Right pleural effusion. Results of investigation showed that there were many eggs of Paragonimus heterotremus in pleural liquid, but there were not eggs in the sputum and bronchial liquid. This is the first case of pleural effusion due to Paragonimiasis, which is found in our Department.

9.The congenital bronchial fistula of lateral neck, an analysis of 24 cases
Journal of Medical Research 1998;7(3):10-14
Bronchial cleft abnormalities are the results of defects in development in neck area of the embryo. They are uncommon clinical problems that can be difficult for diagnosis and treatment. A serie of 24 cases observed in the institute of ENT (1995 - 1999) with bronchial cleft fistula are debated. The primary symtom of 2nd bronchial cleft fistula is a congennital latero-cervical fistula, but the primary symtom of 3,4 grade bronchial fistula is a tumefaction located at the middle third of neck. Complete resection of these fistulas avoid relapse

10.Investigation of clinical features and some promoters of depressive-anxiety disorder in the internal medical patients
Journal of Practical Medicine 2000;383(6):61-64
Clinical epidemiology and promoters of depressive-anxiety disorder was investigated on 200 patients at the HuÕ Central Hospital between December 2000 and May 2001. Results: Overall, the incidence of depressive-anxiety disorder is 15.5%, more common in older patients. Most is mild and moderate depression. The frequency of symptoms, as sadness, emptiness, fatigue, difficulty in attention, decrease in sexual activities, dizziness and etc is varied. The relationship between symptoms of depressive-anxiety disorder and number of physical problems in the same patient is insignificant; however, this disorder is more common in patients with cardio-vascular and gastrointestinal conditions. Unfavorable psychosocial and family factors can promote the development of depressive-anxiety disorder.
