Objective To investigate the expression of stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF-1)and its clinical significance in blood plasma of patients with breast tumor. Methods The level of SDF-1 protein was examined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)in blood plasma of 26 patients with breast benign tumor and 52 patients with breast cancer. Results The SDF-1 protein in blood plasma was detected in both breast benign tumor patients and breast cancer ones. The level of SDF-1 protein in patients with breast cancer was higher than that in ones with breast benign tumor, and there was a statistical difference between them(P=0.000).In patients with breast cancer, the level of SDF-1 protein in axillary lymph node(ALN)metastasis positive patients was significantly higher than that in ALN metastasis negative ones(P=0.036).Conclusion The level of SDF-1 protein in blood plasma may be a specific tumor marker. Its level is correlated with lymph node involvement in breast cancer.

Objective To investigate the use of chitin derivatives-carboxylation chitosan immediate separation feasibility of PLT preparation, and to look for a new direction in separation feasibility of blood components. Methods 40 samples of blood donors were divided into the experimental group, natural sedimentation control group and centrifugal control group randomLy in Dalian.2 mL of whole blood were mixed with different concentrations of carboxylation chitosan which were diluted by blood preservation solution Ⅱ by according to the ratio of 1 ∶4.plasma precipitation amount were surveyed after 4 hours, with numbers of red blood cells, white blood cell and platelet,PLT aggregation and the changes of red blood cell morphology were observed. Finally, suitable amount of MAP were added into the optimal chitosan in preservation, and hemolysis of red blood cells were tested in 35 days. Results Suitable amount of chitin experimental group blood sedimentation rate were significantly faster than static device control group, and plasma remaining trace red blood cells,PLT-rich,and 35 days no obvious hemolysis. Conclusion carboxylation chitosan could be used in PLT preparation.

Objective To study a wavelet method for acquiring the characters of pulse wave based on the principle of wavelet transform which can effectively solve the problem of inaccuracy of the conventional methods. Method The method of wavelet module maximum was used to divide the pulse wave according to periods and basically decomposed it, by arranging in time order and symbolizing the module maximum character points of pulse wave signal at the ascending and descending edges as well as the crest and trough. Result Through the method, the unobvious dicrotism, trail wave and the anomalistic wave appearing at the ascending and descending edge of the main wave, and multi-scale characters and all kinds of characters in time domain of pulse signal were further acquired more accurately. Conclusion Simplicity, quickness and accuracy are achieved by focusing on the character points of pulse signals. It provides a new means for further studies of classification and identification of pulse signals.

Objective To discuss the clinical value of transesophageal echocardiography used in extracorporeal circulationcardiac valve replacement. Methods 89 patients received extracorporeal circulation cardiac valve replacement in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2014 were included in the study. Transesophageal echocardiography were performed preoperatively, intraoperation and postoperatively and the findings were compared to the result of preoperation transthoracic echocardiography exam. The measurement of aortic annulus diameter and detection rates of calcification obtained by transthoracic and transesophaged echocardiography were compared. Changes in heart function parameters before and after operation were compared. The alternations in surgery plan made after pre-operative transesophageal echocardiography exam and any relevant treatment or procedure performed according to intra-operation transesophageal echo findings were recorded. All the patients were followed up for 6 months - 40 months. Results Before extracorporeal circulation cardiac valve replacement, the aortic annulus diameter measured and detection rates of calcification by transthoracic echocardiography were smaller and lower than actual surgical pathology results ( P < 0. 05 ) . No differences in the results from transesophageal echocardiography of two-dimensional and three-dimensional examination when compared to pathological findings ( P > 0. 05 ) . Conclusions For patients receiving extracorporeal circulation cardiac valve replacement, transesophagus echocardiography examination is helpful to guide the selection of valve stent and operation methods.

Laser tweezers Raman spectroscopy ( LTRS ) was used to study the inhibitory effect of indol on staphyloxanthin biosynthesis in Staphylococcus aureus cells and the dynamic changes of this pigment content inside bacterial cells during batch cultivation. The Raman spectra of Staphylococcus aureus cells cultivated for different time and exposed to various doses of indol were acquired. The intensity of 1523 cm-1 band was used for the quantification of staphyloxanthin, in the meantime, the pigment was measured by UV spectrometry. The experimental result showed that an excellent linear relationship existed between the intensities of Raman peak at 1523 cm-1 of bacterial cells and the pigment contents estimated by UV spectrometry, with a correlation coefficient of 0 . 9772 . The spectral data at population level as well as single cell level revealed that indol could inhibit the production of pigment in dose-dependent manner, and the pigment content in bacterial cells incubated with indol decreased by 70%. Under the batch growth condition, the pigment amount in Staphylococcus aureus cells reached the maximum value during the middle exponential growth phase ( 12 h ) and the heterogeneity of pigment content in bacterial cells within certain populations at various time points was relatively small, with RSDs of 39. 2% to 61. 1%. This investigation indicates that LTRS can be served as a reliable method for the analysis of staphyloxanthin content at single cell level.

Objective To explore the extent of axillary lymph node dissection in breast cancer patients with positive sentinel lymph nodes. Methods In this series,95 patients underwent complete axillary lymph node dissection (CALND) following positive sentinel lymph nodes identified and 97 patients underwent partial axillary lymph node dissection (PALND) at the absence of positive sentinel lymph nodes. The influence of different extent of axillary lymph node dissection was evaluated. Results The positive rate of level(Ⅰ + Ⅱ) non-sentinel lymph nodes (NSLN) and level Ⅲ lymph nodes was 68.4% and 29.5%,respectively,in CALND group. In PALND situation,57.9% CALND cases would have changed pathologic stage from pN1 to pN2 or pN3.But with level Ⅲ lymph node dissection followed PALND,only 2.1% cases had changed pathologic stage from pN2 to pN3.Multivariate logistic regression showed that the number of positive SLNs (OR =2.157) and positive rate of SLNs (OR =10.374) were risk factors for having positive level Ⅲ lymph nodes.CALND needed longer operation time and larger postoperative drainage volume. Conclusions In cases of breast cancer with ≥ 3 positive sentinel lymph nodes, complete axillary lymph node dissection should be considered.

This article was aimed to evaluate the α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of extracts from the root of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge and different processed products. The α-glucosidase inhibitory activity was screened with acarbose as positive control and by α-glucosidase inhibitory model in v itro . The results showed that the ex-tracts from the root of S. miltiorrhiza and different processed products had inhibitory activity. And the activity was higher than that of acarbose. In addition to the MeOH extract of S. miltiorrhiza carbon, the inhibitory activity of MeOH extracts from other processed products were higher than that of MeOH extract of S. miltiorrhiza. The in-hibitory activity of petroleum ether extracts of different processed products were close to S. miltiorrhiza. EtOAC extracts were lower than that of S. miltiorrhiza. The n-BuOH extracts were higher than that of S. miltiorrhiza. The inhibitory activity of extracts was positively correlated with concentrations, and it depended on the concentra-tion. It was concluded that the processed products of S. miltiorrhiza can strengthen α-glucosidase inhibitory activ-ity in different degrees.
