1.Investigation and analysis of the cognitive level of occupational protection of staff in sterilization and supply center
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(17):5-7
ObjectiveTo investigate and understand the cognitive level of occupational protection of staff in sterilization and supply center. Methods180 staff in sterilization and supply center were taken for a retrospective questionnaire investigation. The survey included:general information of the object, cognition about occupational protection, wearing of protective equipment, influence of occupational hazards, sharp instrument injury and the handling of injury cases. ResultsThe cognitive level of occupational protection in the sterilization and supply center was low. Some of the staff did not fully implement the wearing of protective equipment rules in the decontamination areas. In the occupational hazards, sharp instrument injuries accounted the highest incidence. The situation of taking blood tests after injury, injection of high titer globulin, report to the higher-ups and follow-up investigation were rare, and even some staff gave no handling of the wound. ConclusionsThe cognitive level of occupational protection in the sterilization and supply center is low.It not only needs professional training to improve cognitive level of occupational protection but also effective protective measures. The management department should establish a complete protection regulations of occupational safety and strict supervision in order to prevent the occurrence of occupational exposure, ensure staff safety, and at the same time, health records should be established in order to understand health status of staff.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To elucidate the clinical features and treatment of hemangiopericytomas (HPCs) in different parts of the body, especially in CNS. Methods Clinical data of 41 cases with HPC which were treated at 301 Hospital from 1993 to 2004 were retrospectively analyzed with a review of relevant literature. Follow-up periods ranged from 4 to 150 months after surgery (mean 34 months). Results Among 41 patients of HPC, 21 tumors (51.2%) were found in CNS, and the rest 20 (48.8%) in other systems. Thirteen tumors were diagnosed as malignant HPC. Surgery for tumor removal was performed in all 41 patients. Among the 62 operations, total removal of tumor was achieved in 49 cases and subtotal removal in 13 cases. Recurrence in original site of the tumor occurred 21 times (33.9%) in 14 patients. Five patients (12.1%) presented one or more distant metastasis, and 5 patients died. HPCs in CNS and in other systems displayed similar clinical characteristics and pathological morphology. Conclusions HPC is a rare angioneoplasm that may arise in any part of the body. It is a great challenge to neurosurgeons as well as other surgeons to surgically manage the tumor. HPC has an unfavorable prognosis because its high rate of recurrence and metastasis. HPC in CNS and in other parts of the body should be recognized as one disease. At the same time, HPC in CNS has its distinct features.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(02):-
Under the socialist market-oriented economic system, state-owned hospitals need to overcome many problems in their traditional management system. The authors discuss a series of issues, including the property right involved in the reform of the management system of state-owned hospitals; the relationships between nonprofit hospitals run by the government and ways of handling them; the conditions of using the corporation management structure in hospitals; the responsibilities of the government in the framework of medical services and the form in which the government supervises state-owned hospitals. Lastly, the authors put forward suggestions from the perspective of policy-making on the reform of the management system of state-owned hospitals.

Objective To compare the effects of different resuscitation pressure on lung function of rats with uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock. Methods Uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock model of rats was built.Sixty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly sent into six groups: NC group (the control group),NF group (shock but non-resuscitation),NS40,NS60 group (limited fluid resuscitation),NS80,NS100 group (large-volume fluid resuscitation). When the mean arterial pressure (MAP) reached between 35 mm Hg to 40 mm Hg (1 mm Hg=0.133kPa) resuscitation was begun, normal saline infusion was used to maintain the following desired endpoints. After the fluid resuscitation for one hour, rats of each fluid resuscitation group were given haemostasis and all-out fluid resuscitation, including blood infusion,to maintain the rats' MAP at 90 mm Hg.Results Findings showed that the blood loss in limited fluid resuscitation groups was significantly lower than that in large-volume fluid resuscitation groups at the situation of uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock, damage to lung tissue pathology and acidosis were significantly lower than those in large-volume fluid resuscitation groups.Nine rats in NS60 group survived 72 hours.Three rats in NS40 group survived 72 hours. No rat in NF group as well as in both NS80 and NS100 groups survived 72 hours. Conclusions Uncontrolled hem-orrhagic shock in trauma and different pressure of fluid resuscitation can cause lung injury to varying de-grees.Limited fluid resuscitation provide significant protective effects against such injuries.

Objective To explore the influence of score sheet of colostomy on reduction of complication in non-hospitalized patients with colostomy stoma. Methods 186 patients with colostomy stoma were randomly divided into group A and group B.Group A used the score sheet of colostomy with nurses during hospitalization and after discharge.Group B were in routine treatment without using the score sheet of colostomy. The two groups were followed-up by phone or by visiting in the following 1,3,6 months after discharge. Results The complications between the two groups were evaluated. The risk of the complications was only 14.0% in group A,and the risk in group B was 36.6%.The results of self-satisfaction degree was significantly different between two groups. Conclusions The use of the score sheet of colostomy can significantly reduce the incidence of stoma complications and obviously improve the quality of life of the patients with colostomy.

Summary
Cisplatin is an anti-tumor drug which is widely used for the treatment of various solid tumors. Unfortunately, seriousside-effects have affected patients, such as hearing loss. Up to now, there is no clear and effective measure to protect the cisplatin-induced ototoxicity in the clinical use of cisplatin studies indicated that autophagy may be involved in the whole process of cisplatin-induced hearing loss. In this review, the relationship between cisplatin ototoxicity and autophagy was reviewed. It is hoped that this study can provide reference for further study of cisplatin ototoxicity and intervention of autophagy with autophagy activator or inhibitor.
