In this paper, the composition and contents of fatty acids in eight kinds of common shellfish in the Dalian Coast were studied. They were Neverita didyma and Neptunea cumingi of Gastropoda. Scapharca subcrenata, Mytilus edulis, chlamys farreri, Ruditapes philippinarum, Mactra veneriformis, Sinonovacula constrica of Lamellibranchia. Comparison with Stichopus japonicus, Penaeus orientalis, Upogebia and Portunus trituberculatus was also done. The results showed nutritive values of eight kinds of common shellfish.

In this paper five nutritive indexes of Ulva pertusa were measured in Liaoning coast. The results showed that in dry powder of Ulva pertusa, the protein was 6. 03% , crude fat was 3. 12%, carbohydrate 38. 88%, moisture content 12. 27%, ash content 39. 7, etc. In which the carbohydrate is made up of rhamnose, glucose, xylose, triose, fucose, mannose, galactose, arabinoe etc, measured with gas chromatography. There were many inorganic elements, such as calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium. The results indicate that Ulva pertusa is rich in nutritive components and can be developed into valuable function food.

Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(02):-
In this paper the four indexes of two mussels-Mytilus edulis and Mytilus coruscus were measured. The four indexes were protein, amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids and inorganic elements. The contents of protein and crude fats in Mytilus coruscus were higher than those in Mytilus edulis. The contents of essential amino acids have no difference between the two mussels. Mytilus coruscus is a heavy seafood,as there are much more glutamic acid, glycine and aspartic acid in it. The content of docosahexenoic acid (DHA)in M. coruscus was much more than that of M. edulis. Except for Aluminium and Selenium, the other 12 kinds of elements in M. edulis were higher than those in M. coruscus. The contents of polyunsatu-rated fatty acids(PUFAs) were much more than those of monounsaturated acids (MUFAs)in M. coruscus. There is little difference of the content between PUFAs and MUFAs in M. edulis.

Objective To explore the risk factors for hepatitis B virus (HBV) intrauterine infection to provide a scientific ev idence for itsprevention. Methods Three hundred and twelve pregnant women of HBsAg positive screened from April 2013 to May 2015 served as the research subjects and were followed up until 6 months after birth. The infantile mothers of HBsAg and/or HBV DNA positive were selected as the intrauterine infection case group, while other mothers served as the control group. The Logistic regression analysis was adopted to analyze the risk factors for intrauterine HBV infection. The questionnaire survey method was used to collect the basic data and time-resolved immunofluorescence assay was used to detect HBsAg.PCR was adopted to measure level of HBV DNA and automatic biochemistry analyzer was used to measure the hepatic functional parameters including ALT,AST,triglyceride and cholesterol. Results The single factor analysis results indicated that HBeAg,HBV DNA,contamination of amniotic fluid and sexual behavior during pregnancy were related to HBV intrauterine infection(P<0.05).The multiple variate Logistic regression results showed that positive HBeAg(OR=2.76,95 % CI=1.19-7.94),positive HBV DNA(OR=9.62,95 % CI=2.58-35.33),and sexual behaviors during pregnancy (OR =1.53,95 % CI =1.07-6.40) were the risk factors for intrauterine HBV infection. Conclusion Pregnant women with positive HBeAg,positive HBV DNA and sexual behavior during pregnancy may be the high risk factors for neonatal intrauterine HBV infection.

BACKGROUND: Previous animal studies demonstrated that bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells could differentiate into nerve cells under a certain condition; however, the clinical application for treating nervous system disease has been less reported. OBJECTIVE: To observe a short-term effect of autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation on treating cerebral hemorrhage.METHODS: A total of 32 patients with cerebral hemorrhage who were selected from the Department of Neurosurgery, Liaocheng Brain Hospital between November 2007 and January 2009 were considered as a treatment group. According to general data and the amount of hematoma, they were treated by drilling drainage or hematoma evacuation. Drainage tubes were detained into hematoma cavity, and 3.5 mL autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell suspension was injected through drainage tube. A total of 40 additional patients who did not treated with stem cell transplantation were considered as a control group. Neurologic impairment (NIHSS) and activities of daily living (Barthel index) were performed before and 6 months after transplantation; meanwhile, the brain MRI, serum biochemical and tumor marker were evaluated to detect security of stem cell transplantation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The NIHSS score and Barthel index in the treatment group were similar to those in the control group before transplantation. Compared with control group, NIHSS scores were significantly decreased in the treatment group (P < 0.01), but Barthel index was significantly increased 6 months after transplantation (P < 0.01). Compared with before transplantation, NIHSS score were significantly decreased (P < 0.01), but Barthel index was significantly increased in the treatment group 6 months after transplantation (P < 0.01). Two patients in the treatment group had febrile, which was recovered after treatment. The following-up 6 months after transplantation demonstrated that brain MRI and biochemical indicators were normal except an increasing of CA-153 caused by lung cancer in one patient. The autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation for treatment of cerebral hemorrhage is safe and effective in a short-term period; however the long-term effect still needs to be further studied.
