1.Significance and Suggestion of Strengthening Medical Ethics Construction in the Work of Blood Transfusion

In blood transfusion, medical ethics construction has its necessity, which is the requirement of hos-pital management refinement. It benefits to improve medical quality and assist the construction of hospital connota-tion. As well, it can promote scientific and reasonable blood transfusion and is conducive to improve the technical level and medicine professional spirit of medical staffs. In order to further standardize and improve the work of blood transfusion, it is suggested to establish ethics committee for blood transfusion and strengthen ethics training for the medical staffs on the basis of scientific management.
2.Reconstruction of disrupted anterior cruciate ligament in adolescent patients

Objective To summarize the experience of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction in teenager patients by bone-tendon-bone method under arthroscope. Methods A total of 23 teenagers with disrupted ACL, who were treated by bone-tendon-bone reconstruction in the Joint Diseases Hospital of New York from 1996 to 2000, were reviewed. The clinical results were measured by using Lysholm and International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) scoring systems. Results The patients were followed for 26~63 months, mean 37 months. The mean Lysholm score was 94 points, 21 patients returning to their pre-injury normal knee functions.According to IKDC system, normal knee functions were obtained in 18 cases (78.3%), improved functions in 3 (13.0%), and poor in 2 (8.7%). There were no patients complaining instability in follow-up. Conclusions Bone-tendon-bone reconstruction is also suited to adolescent patients with disrupted ACL. Special attention should be paid to the bone plug and the interface screw fixation in operation.
3.Medical humanistic education from the view of recognition between teachers and students

Objective To observe the cognitional differences between teachers and students concerning teaching objective,curriculum,teaching methods and effect and teaching reform and to pro-vide references for teaching reform. Methods Medical humanistic questionnaire was designed to survey teachers and students. Data were processed by SPSS 18.0 and were analyzed by Chi-square. P value smaller than 0.05 signifies significant differences. Results There were significant differences in cognition of medical humanistic ability,emotion controlling ability,curriculuma provision and teaching methods between teachers and students.12.9% teachers and 41.3% students considered that the opportunity of medical humanistic practice was plenty while 55.7%teachers and 35.3%students thought that the univer-sity attached little importance to medical humanistic teaching. Conclusions Key points of humanistic reform include making clear the teaching objectives,emphasizing practice of medical humanistic teach-ing,improving curriculum and deepening appraisal reform.
4.Pathogens in Senile Pneumonia Patients:Their Distribution and Resistance Analysis

Acinetobacter baumannii.Sixty(20.6%) strains of Gram-positive bacteria were isolated.Staphylococcus aureus was the most predominat pathogen(13.0%),meticillin-resistant S.aureus(MRSA)(72.8%).Twenty-nine(10.0%) strains of fungi were isolated,Candida albicans was the most predominant(7.56%).The result of drug sensitive test showed that there were high rates of multiple drug resistance in most bacteria strains,but there were high different drug resistance rates to different antibiotics.Ampicillin had the highest resistance rate nearly 100%.In contrast,the imipenem resistance had the lower resistance rate from 0-14.3%.Lactamases(ESBLs) in K.pneumoniae and E.coli were 56.5% and 41.2%. CONCLUSIONS Gram-negitive bacteria are major pathogens in pneumonia of aged.There are high rates of multiple drug resistance in bacteria strains.The clinic should reasonably choose the antibiotics according to the test results of the pathogens sensitivity to drugs.
5.Application study of PET-CT image fusion in conformal radiotherapy of non-small cell lung cancer

The application of PET-CT could not only play a part in the diagnosis of clinical stage for NSCLC on PET, but also make full use of the discrimination of anatomical structure on CT. The precision of target contouring could be increased and the normal tissue and risk organ are also protected efficiently.
6.Correlation between the peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer thickness,structure changes in non - proliferative diabetic retinopathy and the changes of visual function

AlM: To study the correlation between and the peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer ( RNFL ) thickness, structure changes in non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy ( NPDR) and the the changes of visual function
METHODS:Eighty cases ( 80 eyes ) of patients with NPDR who were in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2013 as group NPDR, 60 cases of patients ( 60 eyes) without retinopathy who were in the hospital were selected as non-diabetic retinopathy group ( NRD) group, meanwhile, 50 healthy people who had health examination in our hospital as control group. The RNFL thickness and visual electrophysiological testing were performed on the study objects in the three groups, and the results were compared among groups.
RESULTS: Group NPDR's above, below, nasal, temporal and average RNFL thickness were 91. 52 ± 18. 52, 88.63±21. 65, 63. 62±11. 72, 60. 42±9. 13, 69. 36±12. 52μm, those of group NPDR were 111. 32 ± 21. 90, 113. 57 ± 22. 67, 74.31±11. 74, 67. 64±12. 34, and 97. 31±11. 43μm,those of group control were 121. 65±21. 42, 129. 32±23. 31, 82. 42±9. 28, 80. 32±8. 51, 102. 54±21. 82μm. To compare of average thickness of RNFL of three groups, groups NPDR and NPD were thinner than that of control group;To compare each quadrant phase, above, below, nasal, the RNFL thickness among three groups had statistical significance (P<0.05), while nasal sides had no obviously changes (P>0. 05);At the same time, 60′P100 latency (MS), 60′P100 amplitude ( V ) , 15′ P100 latency ( MS ) and 15′ P100 amplitude ( V) of three groups had statistical significance (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSlON: The changes of RNFL thickness have occurred in the early time of NPDR, and mainly the above, below and temporal , and it has a significant relevance with the changes of visual function.
8.Study on the correlation between plasma homocysteine,folate acid and vitamin B12 levels and vascular de-mentia

Objective To study on the correlation between plasma homocysteine (Hcy),folate acid(FA) and vitamin B12(VitB12) levels and vascular dementia (VD).Methods To measure plasma Hcy, FA and vitamin B12 in 96 patients with VD ,in 152 non-dementia cerebrovascular disease ( NDCVD ) and in 80 normal controls re-spectively,and results werw compared between each two groups by using student test .Cognitive status was evaluar by using mini mentai state examination(MMSE).The effect of Hcy,FA and VitB12 on VD and its cognitive function were analyzed.Results The levels of plasma Hcy in VD and NDCVD were higher than those in normal control grop ,and there was significantly difference (t=3.26,3.14,all P<0.01),and the best high one is VD;The levels of plasma FA and VitB12 in VD and NDCVD were lower than those in normal control grop ,and there was significantly difference ( t=3.16,2.98,3.21,2.91,all P<0.01),and the best low one is VD.The levels of plasma Hcy concentrations were in-creased and MMSE scores were decreased with severity of dementia , and there were negative correlation between MMSE scores and plasma Hcy concentrations (r=-0.69,P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of plasma Hcy corre-lated with VD.High-Hcy is one of possible rise factor for VD in senior .Both low-FA and low-VitB12 were indirect fac-tors for VD.

10.Effect of beraprost sodium on HPH rats and expression of oxygen-sensitive Kv channels in pulmonary artery smooth muscle

Objective To explore the effect of beraprost sodium (BPS) on hypoxia-induced pulmonary artery hypertension (HPH) in rats and the expression of oxygen-sensitive Kv channels in pulmonary artery smooth muscle (PASM).Methods The HPH model of rats was established by exposing rats to low-pressure and low-oxygen cabin which was auto-modulated for 8h every day.Rats in the BPS group were given an intragastric administration of BPS [300 μg/(kg · d)],while those in the control group and HPH group were given an intragastric administration of 3 ml/kg of 0.9% saline.After 4 weeks,the mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP) was measured and right heart ventricle hypertrophy index (RVHI) was calculated;pulmonary artery remodeling was evaluated by HE staining;the expressions of Kv 1.2,Kv 1.5 and Kv2.1 in the pulmonary artery were detected by Real-time PCR and Western blot.Results The HPH model was successfully established in rats exposed to chronic hypoxia for 4 weeks.Compared with those in HPH group,mPAP,RVHI and pulmonary artery remodeling were decreased in BPS group [mPAP:(13.48±2.18)mmHg vs.(23.87±2.23)mmHg vs.(17.09±1.20)mmHg;RVHI:0.28±0.02 vs.0.46±0.03 vs.0.36±0.04;% area of medial smooth muscle:35.72±6.58 vs.68.52±5.64 vs.46.58±8.43;P<0.05],and the mRNA and protein expressions of Kv 1.2,Kv 1.5 and Kv 2.1 were increased (relative protein expression level:Kv1.2,0.78±0.10 vs.0.15±0.03 vs.0.57±0.13;Kv1.5,0.61±0.10 vs.0.31±0.05 vs.0.59±0.13;Kv2.1,0.29±0.05 vs.0.10±0.02 vs.0.28±0.07;P<0.05).Conclusion BPS can improve pulmonary arterial hypertension induced by hypoxia,and upregulate the decreased mRNA and protein expressions of Kv 1.2,Kv 1.5 and Kv 2.1 in pulmonary artery.
