Purpose To explore the effect of EMS1-siRNA on the growth,invasion and migration of human gastric cancer cell line MGC803.Methods It used the Colony formation assay to determine the abilities of proliferation,and flow cytometry analysis to asses cell cycle distribution and apoptosis,transwell invasion and migration experiment to determine the ability of cell invasion and migration after knockdown the expression of EMS1 in MGC803.Results These results suggested that EMS1 gene down-regulated have no affect on cell cycle and cell apoptosis,but the ability of colony formation depressed and migration lowerd obviously (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The results shows EMS1 gene is related to proliferation and migration of tumor.

Objective To investigate the adverse reactions and survival rate of low dose of Oxaliplatin combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in treatment of elderly patients with primary hepatic carcinoma.Methods A total of 84 patients with primary liver cancer were enrolled and randomly divided into low dose group and high dose group.Patients received 40 mg/m2 and 80 mg/m2 of Oxaliplatin respectively,and adverse reactions and survival rate were compared between the two groups.Results Incidence of nausea and vomiting was obviously lower and the number of patients with pain scale above 6 was significantly smaller in low dose group than in high dose group,with statistically significant differences (11.9％ vs.21.4％ and 28.6％ vs.78.6％,x2 =9.910,20.056,both P ＜ 0.05).White blood cell count was significantly higher and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) was significantly lower in low dose group than in high dose group after treatment (t =13.447,6.774,both P＜0.05).1 year and 3 year survival rate was 69.05％ and 30.95％ in low dose group and 61.9％ and 21.43％ in high dose group,respectively,with no statistically significant difference (x2 =0.474 and 0.985,P=0.491 and 0.321).Conclusions Low dose of Oxaliplatin combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in the treatment of elderly patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma is worth to be promoted in clinical application because it does not affect the patient survival rate and the toxic effects of the chemotherapy are very little.

Objective To explore the expression of REG4 and survivin in colorectal cancer, and to analyze the relationship with clinicopathologic features. Methods The expression of REG4 and survivin in 92 colorectal cancer and corresponding normal mucosa was evaluated by immunohistochemistry combining tissue microarray. The relationship between REG4 and survivin and clinicopathologic parameters were statistically assessed. Results The positive expression of REG4 and survivin in colorectal cancer were 53.3% (49/92) and 64.1% (59/92). The positive rates were 8.6% (8/92) and 3.3% (3/92) in the normal mucosa. The level of both REG4 and survivin in colorectal cancer was significantly higher than that in normal mucosa (P < 0.05). REG4 expression was related to differentiation, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage, while survivin was significantly correlated with the lymph node metastasis and TNM stage (P < 0.05). Both were not correlated with the patient′s gender, age, tumor size (P > 0.05). REG4 expression was positively associated with survivin (r =0.208, P<0.05). Conclusion REG4 and survivin were upregulated in colorectal carcinoma, and may be involved in the occurrence of colorectal cancer.

Objective To investigate the expression of TP53, PDGF and EGFR in primary astrocytomas, and analyze their correlation with clinicopathological features and prognosis. Methods We analyzed retrospectively the clinicopathological data of 90 patients with primary astrocytoma. The expressions of TP53, PDGF and EGFR in primary astrocytoma tissue samples were detected by immunohistochemistry. The survival of patients was followed up and Cox regression analysis was used to determine the prognostic factors. Results TP53 was expressed in the nucleus, PDGF and EGFR were expressed in the cytoplasm and cell membrane. The positive expression rates of TP53, PDGF and EGFR were 58.89%, 51.11% and 48.89%, significantly higher than those in normal brain tissues (all P < 0.05); the positive expression rate of TP53 in patients with tumor size ≥3 cm was higher than that in patients with tumor size < 3 cm. The positive expression rates of TP53, PDGF and EGFR in patients with WHO stages Ⅲ-Ⅳ were higher than those in patients with WHO stageⅠ-Ⅱ(all P < 0.05); the survival time of patients with positive expression of TP53, PDGF and EGFR were shorter than those of negative expression (all P < 0.05). Cox regression analysis found that WHO staging, TP53, PDGF and EGFR were all factors influencing the prognosis of primary astrocytomas patients. Conclusion TP53, PDGF and EGFR are highly expressed in primary astrocytomas and closely related to tumor progression. They are factors that affect the prognosis of patients.

In this paper, the domestic and international demand and development trend of clinical diagnostic radionuclides are analyzed, and the medium and high-energy cyclotrons, adequate and systematic facilities, and preparation techniques required for the production of medical radionuclides based on solid targets are introduced. This paper focuses on the research and development carried out by some important medical institutions and scientific research institutes in China over the years in the aspects of medium and high-energy cyclotrons, beam transmission lines, high-power irradiation target stations and new medical isotope production processes etc. It also looks forward to some new directions for the development of medical radionuclides in China during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
