Objective To study the effect of different prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) combined with tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?) to the IP3-Ca2+ pathway mediated by membrane TNF-?R of fibroblasts. Methods The lung fibroblasts of breed mouse were primarily cultured. 10 ?g/L TNF-? and 10 ?g/L TNF-? combined with PGE2 of different doses were added to culture medium of fibroblasts. At some observation time,the expression of TNF-?R on the cellular membrane of fibroblasts was detected by the method of immunohistochemistry,the level of IP3 in cells was detected by the method of radioimmunoassay and the contents of Ca2+ in fibroblasts by the method of flow cytometry. Results With doses of PGE2 increasing at 30 s time point and 60 s time point,the cpm value of IP3 of fibroblast decreased gradually. The cpm value of IP3 significantly increased when the dose of PGE2 was 1.0 ?g/L,but obviously lower when the dose of PGE2 was 2.0 ?g/L at 120 s time point. The expression of TNF-?R and the contents of Ca2+ decreased in a dose-dependent way with the dose of PGE2 increasing. Conclusion Certain dose of PGE2 could suppress the effect that TNF-? enhance the cell proliferation of fibroblast by the IP3-Ca2+ pathway mediated by membrane TNF-?R of fibroblasts.

Objective To explore the correlation between time-intensity curve (TIC) parameters of CEUS and microvessel density (MVD) of inverted papilloma of bladder (IPB) and bladder urothelial carcinoma (BUC).Methods Clinical and CEUS characteristics of 30 patients with IPB and 50 patients with BUC confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed.CEUS TIC parameters included rise time (RT),mean transit time (MTT),peak intensiy (PI),time from peak to one half (TPH),wash in slope (WIS),time to peak (TP),semi-descending slope (DS) were acquired by QLab software and statistical analysis was carried out.The MVD of the resectioned tissue specimens were quantified via immunohistochemistry for CD34 and the correlation with CEUS TIC parameters was investigated.Results In CEUS quantitative parameters,PI,TPH,TP and DS had statistical significance in IPB and BUC (all P＜＜0.05).MVD of BUC was obviously higher than that of IPB (P＜0.05);TPH and DS both correlated with MVD (rs =0.74,-0.81,both P＜0.05).Conclu sion CEUS characteristics has certain clinical value in identification of IPB and BUC.TIC parameters of CEUS can reflect the MVD of IPB and BUC.

Objective To investigate the adverse reactions by stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT)for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma and summarize nursing experience.Methods Forty-one patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma from the radiation department of Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from July 2010 to May 2012 were enrolled in this retrospective study.The adverse reactions were closely observed and the patients were given pertinent nursing.Results The effectiveness rate was 56.2%.During the therapy,36 patients developed nausea/vomiting of grade 1-2,taking up 87.8%,18 had grade 1-3 elevation of liver enzymes,taking up 43.9%,16 had grade 1-2 decrease of white blood cells,taking up 39.0%,8 had grade 1 anemia,taking up 19.5%and 21 had grade 1-2 decrease of blood platelet,taking up 51.2%.The adverse reactions were contained satisfactorily through careful observations and pertinent nursing.Conclusions The toxic reactions by SBRT are nausea,vomiting,enzymes elevation and decrease of whole blood cell.Therefore,nurses need to observe these toxic reactions carefully and give pertinent care to the patients so as to prevent the complications,especially radiation-induced liver injury.

AIM: To demonstrate the susceptibility of cell apoptosis varies during the progress of cell malig- nant transformation from human being in vitro. METHODS: A SV40T - transfected human bronchial epithelial im- mortalized cell line (called M) was selected in this work, which has acquired some characteristics of malignant trans- formation at the later passage. The alterations of apoptosis and bcl- 2, P53 genes between early and later passage of M cells were investigated by means of TDT labeling in situ, chromosome FISH, RNA and protein testing, etc. RE- SULTS: Incidence of apoptosis induced by cis - platin was significantly lower in later than in early passages of M. Levels of bcl - 2 mRNA and protein in later passages were higher than early passages of M, and overxpression of bcl -2 was accumulated following the development of cellular malignancy. P53 protein level was as high in early as in later passages. CONCLUSION: Overexpression of bcl - 2 decreases the cellular sensitivity to apoptotic inductors plays an important role during progress of carcinogenesis in human bronchial epithelial cancers. The inactivation of P53 protein in the SV40 - T transfected M cell line may be one of reasons of bcl - 2 overexpression, but not associated with the accumulation of bcl - 2 expressed level during cell transformation.

Objective To summarize key points of nursing patients with cosmetic dermatitis during patch test.Method One hundred and forty one patients with contact dermatitis induced by cosmetics underwent patch test and the nursing care was performed. Results The top five allergens based on the positive rate ranked in descending order were potassium dichromate(43?97%),nickel sulfate (43?26%),cobalt chloride(36?17%),mixture of hydroxy benzoic acid(23?40%)and fragrance mix(20?57%).The positive suspicious cosmetics ranked in ascending order included body spray(80?00%),freckle cream(56?00%),liquid products(38?89%),cleaning supplies (31?58%)and skin care cream(25?62%).Conclusion During the cosmetic patch test for the patients with contact dermatitis,the nurses should conduct mental care,carefully observe the patients and make instructions to them on cosmetic health knowledge.

BACKGROUND:The micro-ecological environment has been broken when the ocular prosthesis was inset into the conjunctival sac. The recede of self cleaning function is more conducive to the microbial growth and colonization. The cleaning of plaque biofilm on ocular prosthesis surface affects the patient's wearing comfort and quality of life. It is necessary to seek an effective cleaning method. OBJECTIVE:To compare the clearance effect of five cleaning methods on the palque biofilm on ocular prosthesis surface. METHODS: The conjunctival secretions from 84 patients who were subjected to ocular prosthesis repair were taken for bacterial culture and identification. Fifty pieces of self-curing resin and thermosetting resin artificial eyes were produced. The artificial eyes in each group were randomly divided into five groups, and were cleaned respectively with clear water, volume fraction of 75% ethanol, Boston SIMPLUS, polident and toothpaste. After the completion of the cleaning, the test piece was conducted residual biofilm culture. The clearance effects of different processing modes were evaluated using colony counting method. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Eighty-four specimens were submitted for inspection, of which 49 were positive. The Staphylococcusaureus separation rate was 14.29%.Staphylococcus epidermidis separation rate accounted for 13.10%. Maxwel Corynebacterium separation rate accounted for 7.14%. When water, Boston SIMPLUS and toothpaste were used for cleaning, theStaphylococcus aureus colony number in the self-curing resin group was higher than that in the thermosetting resin group (P< 0.05); when ethanol and polident were used for cleaning, there was no difference in the Staphylococcus aureus colony number between these two groups. In self-curing resin, the colony count in the clear water treatment group was higher than that in the other treatment groups (P < 0.05). The colony count in the ethanol treatment group was lower than that in the Boston SIMPLUS group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the colony count between other groups. In thermosetting resin, the colony count in the clear water treatment group was higher than that in the other treatment groups (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the colony count between other groups. These results demonstrate that ethanol, Boston SIMPLUS, polident and toothpaste have better cleaning effects onStaphylococcus aureusbiofilms on the surface of two kinds of ocular prostheses than the clear water rinse. Overal, it is encouraged to clean the artificial eyes using polident and Boston SIMPLUS, in order to avoid the occurrence of microbial infection in the conjunctival sac after wearing ocular prosthesis.

Objective This aim of this study was to understand the distribution of pretreatment serum LDH in NPC of each radiotherapy-related typing,and its relationship with prognosis.Methods We collected the pretreatment data of LDH in 2 665 newly diagnosed NPC who underwent radical radiotherapy between January 1,2000 and December 31,2005 at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center.Pretreatment serum LDH levels and survival analysis were analyzed in four kinds of radiotherapy-related typing of NPC.Results Distribution of radiotherapy-related types of 2 665 NPC were 74.6％ (1 987 cases),15.1％ (404 cases),8.6％ (229 cases),1.7％ (45 cases) for Types Ⅰ (no primary and regional recurrence and no distant metastasis),Ⅱ (primary or regional and no distant metastasis),ⅢⅡ (no primary and regional recurrence,and distant metastasis),Ⅳ (primary or regional recurrence,and distant metastasis),respectively.Increased LDH patients Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ-type proportion were:9.6％ (191/1 987),15.8％ (64/404),18.8％ (43/229),35.6％ (16/45).274 cases of type Ⅲ and Ⅳ,there were 81 cases of liver metastasis,which increased LDH levels in 34 cases,accounted for 42％.Total follow-up rate was 95.2％.The OS,LRFS,and DMFS curves for the increased LDH level group and the normal LDH level group was significant (P =0.000,0.000,0.000).Further analysis showed that the above main difference caused by the type Ⅱ (P =0.000).Conclusions Pretreatment levels of serum LDH are associated with radiotherapyrelated typing of NPC,particularly associated with type Ⅲ and type Ⅳ liver metastasis.And mainly type Ⅱ has poor prognosis.

Objective To explore the key points of graded nursing care to rectal cancer patients with radioactive proctitis induced by preoperative neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy.Methods The clinical data of 162 rectal cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy were analyzed retrospectively. The experience of grading nursing care for patients with radioactive proctitis induced by neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy was summarized.Results Of 162 patients,radioactive proctitis occurred in 110 patients(67.9%).Among the 110 patients with proctitis,62(38.3%)were grade I radioactive proctitis,29(17.9%)gradeⅡand 19(11.7%)gradeⅢ.The graded nursing was done to the patients with radioactive proctitis and achieved good effect.Conclusions Radioactive proctitis has a high incidence in rectal cancer patients with preoperative neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and graded nursing care can reduce the distress of patients with radioactive proctitis effectively and promote wound healing,thus to improve their quality of life.

Objective To investigate the influence factors of non-responsiveness and lowresponsiveness to hepatitis B vaccine of infants born to hepatitis 1 surface antigen (HBsAg) positive mothers.Methods A total of 219 HBsAg positive mothers and their full-term neonates were selected from July 2011 to December 2012 in the Third People's Hospital of Taiyuan.Serologic hepatitis B virus (HBV) markers and HBV DNA load of mothers and their neonates were determined.Neonates were followed up for 12 months to observe the effect of HBV intrauterine infection,hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) status,sex,delivery mode,feeding option and suffering from infectious disease during followup period on the immune response to hepatitis B vaccine.Chi-square test was used in univariate analyses and unconditional Logistical regression was used in multivariate analyses.Results There were 16 cases of non-responsiveness and 33 cases of low-responsiveness in all 219 neonates.The rate of non-responsiveness and low-responsiveness was 22.37 ％.In univariate analyses,neonatal HBeAg positivity (x2 =4.895,P=0.027),natural birth (x2 =5.210,P=0.022),suffering from infectious diseases during follow-up period (x2 =4.329,P=0.037) were significantly associated with non-responsiveness and low-responsiveness.There was no relationship between mother HBeAg positivity and the level of response to hepatitis B vaccine.In multivariate analyses,natural birth (OR=2.022,95 ％CI:1.045-3.914) and suffering from infectious diseases (OR=2.324,95 ％ CI:1.058-5.103) were associated with non-responsiveness and low-responsiveness.Conclusion Infants born to HBsAg positive mothers with natural birth or suffering from infectious diseases during follow-up period are more likely to be non-responsiveness and lowresponsiveness to hepatitis B vaccine.
