The theory of planned behavior is used to study physician's behavior of clinical pathway compliance,on which the model of decision making mechanism for such compliance was built.This aims at exploring the relationship between the behavioral risk factors,behavioral belief and behavioral intention, and the occurrence,and recommend on further regulation of physicians'behavior and policies in hospital management.

By searching relevant data from the PubMed database, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database and Wanfang database, a comprehensive analysis and review regarding acupuncture for cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury (CIRI) in recent 10 years were performed. The results showed that acupuncture could inhibit the inflammatory reaction, reduce oxidative stress injury, restrain brain edema formation, inhibit apoptosis, promote neural and vascular regeneration, etc. Acupuncture methods used included electroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture, eye acupuncture and "consciousness-restoring resuscitation needling", etc. The existing problem was that the intervention action of acupuncture was mainly focused on inhibiting inflammatory reaction and oxidative stress injury, and the study on apoptosis and neural and vascular regeneration was needed. It is suggested that from the aspect of multiple target points, the intervention mechanism of acupuncture for CIRI should be systemically studied in the future, which could provide new idea for clinical diagnosis and treatment on ischemic cerebrovascular diseases.

Objective: To study the effect of down-regulation of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E (EIF 4E ) induced by the siRNA expression plasmid on the proliferation and cell cycle of human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231. Methods: The siRNA expression plasmid pGPU6/GFP/Neo-EIF4E was constructed and then transfected into breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells by LipofectAMINE2000. The expressions of EIF4E and cyclin D1 mRNAs and proteins were examined by RT-PCR, Western blotting and the immunocytochemistry method, respectively. The MTT method, plate colony formation assay and flow cytometry were performed to detect the proliferation ability, cell colony formation rate and cell cycle distribution of MDA-MB-231 cells transfected with siRNA expression plasmid. Results: The siRNA expression plasmid pGPU6/GFP/Neo-EIF4E was constructed successfully. The expressions of EIF4E and cyclin D1 mRNAs and proteins were all decreased markedly after transfection with pGPU6/GFP/Neo-EIF4E (P <0.05). The growth of MDA-MB-231 cells in the pGPU6/GFP/Neo-EIF4E-tranfected group was inhibited and the cell colony formation rate was statistically decreased (P<0.05) as compared with those in the blank control and the pGPU6/GFP-transfected groups. The result of flow cytometry showed that the percentage of cells in G1 phase in the pGPU6/GFP/Neo-EIF4E-tranfected group was higher than that in the blank control group (71.30%±0.47% vs 53.10%±0.43%); however, the percentage of cells in S phase was signifcantly lower (12.53%±0.13% vs 26.47%±0.38%, P <0.05). Conclusion: EIF 4E siRNA can downregulate EIF 4E gene expression in human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells, suppress cell proliferation to some extent, and increase the number of cells in G1 phase with a decreased number of cells in S phase. Based on the circulation of Chinese materia medica and value chain of quality of Chinese materia medica, this article analyzed the problems existing in the process of protection and development of Chinese materia medica: planting problems caused the efficacy weakening of Chinese materia medica, excessive sulfur because of the initial processing methods, large fluctuations in prices of Chinese materia medica for the market supply and demand imbalance. Then with the modern logistics as the starting point, this article explored the control of the circulation process of Chinese materia medica from the aspects of primary processing, transportation, storage, maintenance, and packaging. Automated initial processing can protect the quality of Chinese materia medica; standardized transportation can reduce the loss of Chinese materia medica; modern warehousing can help management of Chinese materia medica; scientific conservation can maintain the efficacy of Chinese materia medica; standardized packaging can protect Chinese materia medica in the whole course. At the same time, the use of information technology is conducive to the construction of circulation system and traceability system of Chinese materia medica, with a purpose to promote the information system of Chinese materia medica, to protect the authentic Chinese materia medica, to achieve the quality of Chinese materia medica, to enhance the protection and development of Chinese materia medica.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of docetaxel and nedaplatin (NDP)in treatment of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods 50 cases with epithelial ovarian cancer collected in Shifang People’s Hospital from 2009 January to 2010 January were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each had 25 cases.Treatment group were given docetaxel and nedaplatin,while control group were given carboplatin. The efficacy and adverse reactions in two groups were observed and compared.Results The recent efficacy in two groups were 76.00% and 52.00%, respectively,and the difference was significant (P <0.05 ).Compared with control group, the incidence of leucopenia was 36.00% and thrombocytopenia was 24.00% in treatment group,there was no significant difference between them.The incidences of nausea,vomiting and alopecia in treatment group were 12.00%,8.00% and 44.00%,which lower than that in control group (40%,28% and 64%),the differences between two groups were all significant(P<0.05 ).The two years survival rates in treatment group was 37.5%,and 28% in control group,there was no significant difference between two groups.Conclusion Docetaxel and nedaplatin has good clinical efficacy in treatment of epithelial ovarian cancer.

Objective To observe the effect and mechanism of magnesium on nigral dopaminergic neurons in rats with Parkinson's disease(PD). Methods The PD rats were prepared by unilateral injection with 6-hydroxydopamine(6-OHDA) in the nigra and then divided into magnesium sulfate group,Madopar group,mixed group(magnesium sulfate+Madopar) and control (normal saline) group,and recived corresponding therapy by gastric perfusion for 28 d.The behavior change was observed. At the damage side,the number of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH) positive neurons in nigra was detected by immunohistochemistry; the activities of superoxide dismatase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and the level of malondialdehyde(MDA) in striatum were measured by biochemistry method,the expression of caspase-3 mRNA and the protease of nuclear factor(NF)-?B P65 in nigra were detected by RT-PCR and Western Blot. The quantity or function deficiency of blood vessel grafts hinders many diseases from proper treatment,so tissue engineered blood vessels have gained high attentions.As a crucial component of the tissue engineered blood vessels,how the seed cells can obtain the physiological functions as normal endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells has been focused on.Stem cells are multi-potential and are regarded as proper seed cells.However,it is still a question that which stem cells among a variety of stem cells is the most suitable seed cells for tissue engineered blood vessels.In this review,we make a comparison among kinds of stem cells such as haemopoietic stem cells,bone mesenchymal stem cells and adipose-derived stem cells.We also state their characteristics respectively,and intent to acquaint with their function comprehensively.Thus,this review may provide some references for further studies.

BACKGROUND:At present,mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) is mainly obtained from stem cells.But the quantity of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs) is lower.Fetal MSCs possess weak immunogenicity and good differentiation potential.OBJECTIVE:To compare the biological difference in adult and fetal BMSCs.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The cytology in vitro controlled study was performed at the Central Laboratory,Hospital Affiliated to Medical College,Qingdao University from February to October 2008.MATERIALS:Three samples of adult bone marrow blood were obtained from Hospital Affiliated to Medical College,Qingdao University.Three samples of fetal bone marrows were supplied by Qingdao Municipal Hospital.METHODS:Human and fetal BMSCs were harvested in vitro by the Percoll method,and incubated in LG-DMEM containing 10% volume fraction fetal bovine serum.Till cells were 90% confluent,cells were digested and passaged.The same passage of adult and fetal BMSCs were collected,and treated with KGla suspension and DMEM containing fetal bovine serum at 37 ℃ in 0.05 volume fraction CO2 for 2 hours.Non-adherent cells were removed.At the third passage,BMSCs at a density of 1?106 were incubated.When cells were 60%-80% confluent,cells were incubated in osteoblast medium for 16 days.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Cell morphological changes were measured.Growth curve was detected by MTT assay.Cell adherent rate in vitro was calculated.Alkaline phosphatase staining was used to detect the differentiational results of osteoblasts.RESULTS:Adult and fetal BMSCs showed spindle-shape,but the fetal BMSCs were small.The doubling time of them was 50 hours and 30 hours,respectively.Compared with the adult BMSCs,cell adherent rate was significantly lower in the fetal BMSCs(t=4.22,P

Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells is a new approach for diabetes treatment, it can transdifferentiate into insulin cells in vitro, that may overcome the shortage of human donor islets, avoid the immunological rejection and moral principle problems which are involved into the research of embryonic stem cells.Studies have shown that insulin gene and its other necessary gene can introduce into primary cells or other somatic stem cells directly in diabetes mellitus patients, such as hepatic cells, intestines epidermis K cells, fibroblast cells and liver tumor cells and so on.Thereby, it can be translated into insulin-secreting cells.At present, the main study direction internationally is how to import insulin gene into target cells effectively, and make it express in a physical model.
