Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2001;0(03):-
The concept of white matter dementia was first introduced by Filley in 1988.It was found following behavioral neurologica researches that patients with this type of dementia manifested the dysfunctions of sustained attention, memory retrievial, frontal lobe and visualspatial function. They also had psychiatric manifestations but language and extrapyramidal function remained normal.10 diseases of white matter disorders are listed for understanding the clinical characteristics of this type of dementia.
2.The changes of mitochondrial membrane potential detected by confocal microscopy in spermatocyte induced by bisphenol A
China Medical Equipment 2016;(2):106-109
Objective:To detect changes in mitochondrial membrane potential after sperm mother cell damage induced by bisphenol A by laser scanning confocal microscopy(LSCM) and underline its potential action mechanism. Methods: The cultured spermatogenic cells were divided into 3 groups, respectively. Then 0, 10μmol/L, 100μmol/L of Bisphenol A(BPA) were added into the culture, after 3 hours culture, fluorescence probe JC-1 was used to lable the three groups. The fluorescence intensity of JC-1 in mitochondrial was then detected by LSCM. LSCM software was used to analyze the fluorescence intensity. Change of the mitochondrial membrane potential was represented by the change of fluorescence colors (relative proportion of red and green fluorescence is commonly used to measure mitochondrial depolarization ratio). Results:The ratio between the red and green fluorescence in the control group, low dose group and high dose group had significant difference. Intracellular mitochondrial membrane potential of Bisphenol A treatment group was lower than that of the control group, while mitochondrial membrane potential of high dose group was lower than that of the low dose group. Conclusion: Bisphenol A could damage spermatocytes, and as the dose increased, the more serious the injury. The method could real-time monitor with high sensitivity the change of intracellular mitochondrial membrane potential.
3.Anatomic measurements of internal fixation-related implantation points of inferior thoracic spinal latero-anterior vertebral screws
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;19(17):2683-2687
BACKGROUND: There are many reports on the entrance point of adult inferior thoracic spinal latero-anterior screw.Because of the differences in race, districts and the shape of vertebral body are various, and the choice of screw placement position is also varied.OBJECTIVE:To provide an anatomical reference for the implantation of clinical screws for inferior thoracic spinal latero-anterior fixation with the concave rib set as a reference.METHODS:Spinal specimens from 20 adult cadavers were observed, and anatomical data were colected from the concave ribs. One vernier caliper was used for the measurements.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The thoracic transverse diameters and the distance between the upper and the inferior edge of the concave rib and upper endplate increased gradualy as the vertebral number increased, whereas the distances between the upper and the inferior edge of the concave rib and inferior endplate and between the anterior edge of the concave rib and anterior edge of the vertebral canal decreased gradualy.Above findings suggested that the anatomical positions of the inferior thoracic concave ribs folowed a set of rules. The concave rib could be used as a simple, constant, and reliable reference point for inferior thoracic spinal latero-anterior fixation screw placement.
4.Research progress of small peptidomimetics.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(8):931-44
The study of peptide drugs has been an important direction in research and development of new drugs. However, lots of natural macromolecular peptides are limited in clinical use by their metabolic instability and low bioavailability. In recent years, the active small peptidomimetics open up a new hotspot of peptide drug development with the characteristics of low molecular weight, high bioactivity and structural modification. Many peptidomimetics are on the market or on the clinical study. This paper elaborated the small peptidomimetics approved by American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from 2005 to 2014, and reviewed their researching status with source, synthetic method, chemical structure, marketing time, indication, clinical efficacy and safety. Research prospects in this field were discussed.
5.Advances in inflammasome and inflammasome-related diseases
Chinese Journal of Immunology 2015;(6):721-727
Inflammasomes are multi-protein complexes that trigger the activation of caspase-1 and the maturation of interleukin-1β ( IL-1β) , which are critical for inflammation and control of pathogen infection. Inflammasomes are involved in and regulate diversified diseases due to its capability to sense multiple danger signals. In this review, we present the activation and regulation mechanisms for different inflammasomes and discuss how genetic mutations in inflammasome-related genes or abnormal activity of in-flammasomes lead to diseases. Insights into the role of inflammasome in various human diseases will provide sound theoretical basis and effective treatment strategy for these disease.
6.Expressions of interleukin-22 in sera and peripheral blood mononuclear cells of patients with pityriasis rosea
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2014;47(10):746-747
Objective To investigate the role of interleukin-22 (IL-22) in the pathogenesis of pityriasis rosea (PR).Methods Peripheral venous blood samples were obtained from 48 patients with PR in acute stage and recovery stage and from 20 healthy human controls.Real-time fluorescence-based quantitative PCR was performed to measure the mRNA expression of IL-22 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs),and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to determine the level of IL-22 in sera. Results The relative expression level of IL-22 mRNA in the patients with PR in recovery stage was significantly higher than that in the healthy controls (2.89 ±0.91 vs.1.91 ± 0.60,t =3.84,P < 0.05),but lower than that in the patients in acute stage (2.89 ± 0.91 vs.4.15 ±1.36,t =3.61,P < 0.05).Similarly,the level of serum IL-22 was significantly increased in the patients with PR in recovery stage compared with the healthy controls ((21.44 ± 7.33) vs.(13.22 ± 4.26) ng/L,t =4.49,P < 0.05),and increased in the patients with PR in acute stage compared with those in recovery stage ((36.87 ± 10.63) vs.(21.44 ± 7.33) ng/L,t =5.01,P < 0.05).The level of serum IL-22 was positively correlated with the stage of PR (r =0.883,P < 0.05).Conclusions IL-22 is overexpressed in PBMCs and sera of patients with PR,implying that IL-22 is involved in the pathogenesis of PR.
