Objective To investigate the clinical effect of gastric bypass operation on treating type 2diabetes,and analyze the management status. Methods Fifty-seven patients wiith type 2 diabetes treated by gastric bypass operation were divided by different body mass index(BMI) into 4 groups:group A( BMI < 20kg/m2) with 8 cases, group B (20 kg/m2≤BMI <24 kg/m2) with 21 cases, group C (24 kg/m2≤BMI <27kg/m2) with 17 cases and group D (BMI ≥27 kg/m2) with 11 cases. The control of blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin, changes of diets and body weight, diabetes complications, adverse reactions after operation and postoperative management were followed up or reviewed. The clinical data were analyzed comprehensively. Results The cure rate of group C was the highest [ 70.6%( 12/17 ) ],while the cure rate of group A was the lowest (0).The overall cure rate was 43.9%(25/57) and the overall improvement rate was 28.1%(16/57).The overall efficient rate was 71.9%(41/57) and the overall inefficient rate was 28.1%(16/57).Apart from a few patients had malnutrition, amenorrhea, bad stomach, diarrhea and poor diet after leaving the hospital, other patients had no surgery complications and no patients died. There was no clinician to follow up and did education to these patients after operation.Conchusions Gastric bypass operation is safe and effective for obese and non-obese patients with type 2 diabetes. It is a new method to weat type 2diabetes at present, but the indications should be grasped and operation enlargement must he prevented. The management of teams of physicians, surgeons, dietitians, nurses should be established afler operation.

A sectional survey with histochemical technique was carried out on Culex tritae-niorhynchus larvae infected with Coelomomyces indica in comparison to the noninfected larvae. Studies were pursued by using micrograph and imaging analysis. The results showed that the glycogen, protein and nucleic acid (RNA and DNA)reaction in the infected group were less than those of the control group. The gray level assessment in tissue imaging showed marked difference between the two groups. It is suggested that C. indica has significant effect on the above biochemical elements of the mosquito larvae, which might be considered an important mechanism in the pathogenicity of the fungus.

Objective To explore the value of MRI in detecting the corpus callosum agenesis suspected by US.Methods 19 women with complicated pregnancies, aged from 20 to 37 years(average 28 years) and with gestation from 20 to 38weeks(average 29 weeks) were studied with a 1.5 T superconductive MR unit within 24 hours after ultrasound examinations and suspected with fetal corpus callosum agenesis.T2WI and T1WI were performed using HASTE and FLASH,respectively. The features of MRI and ultrasound were compared with that of autopsy or follow-up outcome. Results Of the 19 fetus,14 cases with fetal corpus callosum,3 cases with mild enlargement of lateral cerebral ventricle and 2 cases with leukodystrophy were confirmed by MRI.Of them, accompained with Dandy-Walker syndrome in one and lipoma of corpus callosum in one.One case of Dandy-Walker syndrome and microcephalus respectively missed by US was detected by MRI.Conclusion MRI is superior in displaying fetal corpus callosum agenesis than ultrasound, which is helpful in conforming the diagnosis of fetal corpus callosum, classification and additional cerebral anomalies.

AIM: To study the anti-inflammatory effect of the Antivirus Oral Liquid(AOL) in experimental rabbit conjunctivitis model. METHODS: Rabbit's staphococcus aureus conjunctivitis models and cantharides tincture conjunctivitis models were made to observe different groups of animals' symptom of eye stimulation, negative rate of bacteria and conjunctiva histopathology. And then AOL compared with the effect of amphemycin gutta or Shumu(gutta.) RESULTS: It showed that AOL possessed significant anti-inflammatory effect on bacterial conjunctivitis. The negative rate of bacteria was more than 90% after being given AOL for 4 days successively.Compared with the models group, the hyperemia and edemda were markedly relieved. The result showed that AOL possessed significant anti-inflammatory effect on irritable conjunctivitis. The hyperemia and edema were markedly relieved at the second day after being given AOL,and the inflammatory symptoms had almost disappeared after being given AOL for 4 days successively. CONCLUSION: AOL has a good effect on the therapy of staphylococcus aureus conjunctivitis and cantharides tincture.

The process of diagnosis and nursing of a case with human granulocytic anaplasmosis who was confirmed by etiological diagnosis and molecular biology analysis was analyzed. The matters needing attention in nursing and nosocomial infection control were discussed and analyzed. To avoid misdiagnosis and mistreatment, cross infection, reduce pain and economic burden of the patients,to provide references for future diagnosis and treatment of human granulocytic anaplasmosis.

Pulmonary drug delivery has attracted increasing attention in biomedicine, and porous particles can effectively enhance the aerosolization performance and bioavailability of drugs. However, the existing methods for preparing porous particles using porogens have several drawbacks, such as the inhomogeneous and uncontrollable pores, drug leakage, and high risk of fragmentation. In this study, a series of cyclodextrin-based metal-organic framework (CD-MOF) particles containing homogenous nanopores were delicately engineered without porogens. Compared with commercial inhalation carrier, CD-MOF showed excellent aerosolization performance because of the homogenous nanoporous structure. The great biocompatibility of CD-MOF in pulmonary delivery was also confirmed by a series of experiments, including cytotoxicity assay, hemolysis ratio test, lung function evaluation,

Malignant tumor has become an urgent threat to global public healthcare. Because of the heterogeneity of tumor, single therapy presents great limitations while synergistic therapy is arousing much attention, which shows desperate need of intelligent carrier for co-delivery. A core‒shell dual metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) system was delicately designed in this study, which not only possessed the unique properties of both materials, but also provided two individual specific functional zones for co-drug delivery. Photosensitizer indocyanine green (ICG) and chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin (DOX) were stepwisely encapsulated into the nanopores of MIL-88 core and ZIF-8 shell to construct a synergistic photothermal/photodynamic/chemotherapy nanoplatform. Except for efficient drug delivery, the MIL-88 could be functioned as a nanomotor to convert the excessive hydrogen peroxide at tumor microenvironment into adequate oxygen for photodynamic therapy. The DOX release from MIL-88-ICG@ZIF-8-DOX nanoparticles was triggered at tumor acidic microenvironment and further accelerated by near-infrared (NIR) light irradiation. The
