China Medical Equipment 2015;(4):47-48
Objective: To design a heart rate testing procedure which based on Labview. Methods:Collect the blood oxygen signals of the fingers, which keep in step with the pulse wave. Filter the signals and obtain the pregnant datum by the Labview procedures. Results: Achieve the pulse cycle“T”by Labview processing the blood oxygen signals of the fingers, and gain the heart rate by calculating the pulse in one minute(Pulse is equal to the number of heart beat in one minutes-1/T,the heart rate). Conclusion:It is an important and meaningful work to process the signals. Not only acquire the heart rate, but also prompt and diagnose the diseases of the cardiovascular system. It also can provide some meaningful diagnostic evidence.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Qingjin huatan decoction for patients with AECOPD phlegm-heat obstructing lung. METHODS:120 patients with AECOPD phlegm-heat obstructing lung were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table, with 60 cases in each group. Control group received routine therapy as low-flow oxygen therapy,anti-infective,bronchiectasis,expectorant,etc.;observation group additionally received Qingjin huatan decoction(decocted by 400 ml pure water),tid,on the basis of control group. The levels of IL-8,IL-17,IL-23 and TNF-α were observed in 2 groups before and 7 d after treatment. Clinical efficacies and the occurrence of ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in the levels of IL-8,IL-17,IL-23 and TNF-α between 2 groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-8,IL-17,IL-23 and TNF-α in observation group were significantly decreased and lower than in control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The levels of IL-17,IL-23 and TNF-α in control group were decreased significantly compared to before treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05);the level of IL-8 had no signifi-cant change compared to before treatment, without statistical significance (P>0.05). Excellent rate of observation group was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than 78.95% of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statis-tical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Qingjin huatan decoction shows signifi-cant therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of AECOPD phlegm-heat obstructing lung, and can improve inflammatory factors with good safety.

Objective To investigate the effects of chloroquine on metabolism of insulin, glucose, lipids and expression of insulinase gene (EIG) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods Fasting plasma insulin (FINS),fasting plasma glucose (FPG),glycoslated hemoglobin (HbA1c),plasma lipids and lipoprotein, insulinase activity of erythrocytes (EIA) and EIG were determined in 30 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus laking chloroquine for 14 day in dosage of 250mg twice daily,27 diabetic patients laking placebo and 20 normal subjects.Insulin sensitive index (ISI) were also calculated. Results Chloroquine caused a decrease in total plasma cholesterol, low density lipoprotein,EIA and EIG,and an increase in ISI,plasma high density lipoprotein and subclass 2.No change of these indices was observed in diabetic patients with placebo. Conclusion Chloroquine can ameliorate the dyslipidemia and insulin sensitivity of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This may be due to a decrease in EIG,which may result in lowered degradation of insulin.

Chinese Journal of Diabetes 1995;0(04):-
Objective To study plasma tumor necrosis factor ?(TNF ?) level and its relationship with insulin resistance in familial type 2 DM. Methods Plasma TNF ? were determined by RIA in 32 familial type 2 DM patients, their 37 non diabetic first degree relatives and 40 healthy control subjects. Results Plasma TNF ? was significantly higher in familial type 2 DM patients[(1.19?0.21)?g/L] than in healthy control subjects[(1.00?0.18)?g/L]( P 0.05). Regression analysis indicated that TNF ? was inversely related to ISI and was a significantly independent contributor to variations in ISI. 39% of the variance in ISI was explained by TC, body mass index(BMI)and TNF ?. Conclusion The finding of an association between high plasma levels of TNF ? and insulin resistance suggests that TNF ? may be involved in the pathophysiology of insulin resistance in familial type 2 DM patients.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(21):3150-3155
BACKGROUND:Because of poor biocompatibility, conventional intraocular lenses (IOLs) used to improve visual acuity can result in a higher incidence of inflammatory foreign body reactions.
OBJECTIVE:To study the biocompatibility and therapeutic effects of hirudin peptide-modified acrylic IOL on eye diseases.
METHODS:By immersion coating method, we prepared a polymethylmethacrylate IOL by the modification with hirudin polypeptides and observed its biocompatibility through the cytological observation. In this study, six New Zealand white rabbits were equivalently randomized into conventional and hirudin peptide grouppolypeptide hirudin group. Rabbits in the conventional group were given conventional lens implantation; while those in the hirudin peptide group underwent hirudin peptide-modified polymethylmethacrylate IOL.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Three days after implantation of hirudin peptide-modified polymethylmethacrylate IOL, cels proliferated and spread wel on the acrylic IOL, but on the cel membrane, there were a few cels most of which were gathered sphericaly with no spreading. In the hirudin peptide group, some cels attached to the border zone migrated to the IOL surface, but did not impede the central visual field; in the conventional group, the IOL surface was stil covered by fibrotic cel membrane.Comparedwith the conventional group, the score in the SchirmerItest was increased but the breakup time of tear film decreased in the hirudin peptide group. To conclude, the polymethylmethacrylate IOL modified by hirudin peptides has good physicochemical properties and biocompatibility, increases visual acuity, and yields satisfactory outcomes in the cataract treatment, which provides a new insight into the treatment of cataract.
