Objective To explore the influence of continuity care model on how to deal with medical waste of insulin injections among domestic patients Methods Consecutive diabetes patients using the home insulin injections were recruited as the the members of our Diabetes Education Classfrom September 2014 to March 2015. The home medical waste disposal was brought into the content of diabetes education;problems were intervened through the continuity care model. Using the questionnaire survey to investigate the cognitive and disposal of patients on medical waste, to compare the difference of results of questionnaire before and after the intervention. Results The cognitive rate of medical waste after intervention was 97.70%(212/217),while the cognitive rate before intervention was 3.69%(8/217), the difference was significant (χ2=383.63,P<0.01). Disposal of diabetes patients using the home insulin injections had improved after the continuity care, the rate of dealing with medical waste according to specification after the intervention was 91.24% (198/217),while the rate before the intervention was 3.23%(7/217), the difference was significant (χ2=337.26,P<0.01). Conclusions The continuity care model standardized the behavior of patients for disposal of medical waste, reduced the environment pollution of medical waste and decreased the spread of disease.

ObjectiveTo study the modes of case finding and diagnosis for inpatients of active pulmonary tuberculosis with primary treatment.MethodsData of 1000 inpatients with active pulmonary tuberculosis input into a computer were analyzed retrospectively.including clinical symptoms, signs and relevant laboratory examinations.to evaluate their diagnostic value.ResultsAmong 1000 active tuberculosis case8 hospitalized with symptoms and signs,95.9 percent suffered by cough,77.7 percent by expectoration and 50.8 percent (n=508) by fever, and 51.5 percent (n=777) with strong positive purified protein defivative (PPD) skin test,61.5 percent with positive serum anti-tuberculosis antibody,48.8 percent with positive acid-fast staining on sputum smear and 57.9 percent with positive sputum bacteriologle culture.And,49.4 percent of the patients were diagnosed by laboratory positive sputum, and 50.6 percent of those with negative sputum were diagnosed by comprehensively clinical considerations, ineluding 51.6 percent positive PPD skin teat, or positive serum anti-tubereulosis antibody, but 48.4 percent of them were all negative in varied laboratory examinations.ConclusionsHospital visit due to symptom is the main method for tuberculosis finding in our country. All those with Cough for two or more weeks should be screened by routine examinations for excluding tuberculosis.Case finding rate Was low by sputum examinations.so comprehensive diagnosis is still important for those tuberculosis patients with negative sputum.

Objective To observe the antioxidative dosage-effect relationship of grape seed proanthocyanidin extract (GSPE). Methods The mice were randomly divided into seven groups:blank group, model group, 5 mg/kg GSPE group, 15 mg/kg GSPE group, 45 mg/kg GSPE group, 135 mg/kg GSPE group and 405 mg/kg GSPE group. The mice in blank group were dealt with saline solution by intraperitoneal injection, the others were dealt with D-galactose (120 mg/kg) by intraperitoneal injection for seven weeks to make oxidative damage model. Meanwhile, the mice were given corresponding dose of the drug. Subsequently the level of malondialdehyde (MDA) and activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the serum were measured to observe the antioxidative dosage-effect relationship of GSPE. Results The 45, 135, 405 mg/kg GSPE group reduced the MDA level, and the 15, 45, 135, 405 mg/kg GSPE group increased the SOD activity. Conclusion GSPE has significant antioxidant activity on mice dealt with D-galactose above the dose of 15 mg/kg, suggesting that the clinical use of GSPE should guarantee a certain dose to play a good antioxidant effect.

Objective To study the general pharmacological effects of Aloe's whole-leaf freeze-dried powder (AWFD), and observe its influence on cardiovascular system, nervous system and respiratory system of laboratory animals, so as to offer an experimental basis for clinical application. Methods Forty-eight mice were randomized into blank control group, high dosage group, medium dosage group and low dosage group of AWFD (12 mice for each group). AWFD high, medium and low dosage groups were treated by intragastric at the dose of 12.20, 3.90, 0.65 g/(kg?d), blank control group was treated by equal volume of sterilized distilled water. After three days, general behavior, spontaneous activity, coordinated movement, sleep situation induced by sodium pentobarbital in subthreshold dose and suprathreshold dose were observed. Twenty-four beagle were randomized into blank control group, high dosage group, medium dosage group and low dosage group of AWFD (6 beagles for each group). AWFD high, medium and low dosage groups were treated by duodenum at the dose of 6.10, 3.41, 0.71 g/(kg?d), blank control group was treated by equal volume of sterilized distilled water. The influence on blood pressure, heart rate, electrocardiogram, breathing flow and frequency in anesthetic dogs were observed. Results Three dosages of AWFD had no obvious influence on spontaneous activity and coordinated movement in mice, and had no evidently influence on sleep number and duration, but the high dosage group of AWFD had influence on sleep latency (P<0.01). AWFD had no impact on blood pressure, heart rate, electrocardiogram, breathing flow and frequency in anesthetic dogs. Conclusion AWFD has no evident effects on cardiovascular system and respiratory system in laboratory animal, however, the impact on the central nervous system remains to be further verified.

OBJECTIVETo conduct an experimental study on in vitro transdermal absorption of prepared Shangshi Zhitong cataplasm.
METHODFranz diffusing cells and mice were adopted for the percutaneous penetration study. The accumulative percutaneous permeation of total alkaloids, strychnine and atropine in certain time was determined by acid dye colorimetry and HPLC.
RESULTThe accumulative permeation of alkaloids (Q) increased with time (t), with a linear relation between them.
CONCLUSIONThe in vitro percutaneous penetration of Shangshi Zhitong cataplasm complies with the zero-order kinetics.

OBJECTIVEAccording to the record of mutual-detoxication and mutual restraint in ancient Chinese materia medica, to research the influence to the toxicity of Aconiti Carmichaeli Radix added the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) which is mutual-detoxication and mutual restraint to it.
METHODICR mouse, 0.4 microL x g(-1), to pour the fluid into stomach, paired comparison of acute toxicity of Aconiti Carmichaeli Radix seperately added different ratio of Sileris Radix, Astragali Radix and Polygalae Radix, and ad-measure the dose for LD50. SD rats, administration by injection through duodenum, 20 microL x g(-1), paired comparison of heart toxicity of Aconiti Carmichaeli Radix seperately added different ratio of Sileris Radix, Astragali Radix and Polygalae Radix, and admeasure the dose for TD50.
RESULTLD50, and heart toxicity of TD50 were increased after Aconiti Carmichaeli Radix added separately, its toxicity attenuation is related to the ratio.
CONCLUSIONMutual-detoxication and mutual restraint are the summary drawed when China ancient people is in the process of using toxic TCM and it is scientific.
