Objective: To investigate the late identification of newly reported HIV/AIDS cases in Wuxing District of Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province from 2012 to 2021, and analyze the influencing factors, so as to provide the basis for improving AIDS prevention and control measures and promoting early identification of HIV/AIDS cases. Methods: Data pertaining to demographics, CD4+T lymphocyte counts, transmission routes and identification routes among newly reported HIV/AIDS cases in Wuxing District from 2012 to 2021 were collected through the HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Control System of Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System. The proportions of late identification of cases with different characteristics were descriptively analyzed, and factors affecting late identification were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: Totally 627 HIV/AIDS cases were reported in Wuxing District from 2012 to 2021, including 555 males (88.52%), and had a mean age of (40.30±15.98) years. There were a total of 212 cases with late identification, and the annual average proportion was 33.81%. The proportions of late identification ranged from 51.85% in 2012 to 28.00% in 2021, with no significant changing trend (χ2trend=1.152, P=0.283). Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that higher proportion of late identification was more likely seen in the registered cases in Wuxing District (OR=1.651, 95%CI: 1.140-2.393), cases at ages of 40 years and older at diagnosis (OR=1.719, 95%CI: 1.068-2.766), and cases identified by medical institutions (OR=1.809, 95%CI: 1.136-2.881). Conclusion HIV/AIDS cases registered in Wuxing District, aged 40 years and older, and identified by medical institutions have higher proportions of late identification in Wuxing District from 2012 to 2021.

Objective To evaluate the effects of perioperative rehabilitation for patients with self-forearm internal arteriovenous fistula.Methods Divided 124 patients with end-stage renal disease into the functional training group (65 cases,A group)and the control group(59 cases,B group) randomly,and then compared certain related indexes between the two groups.Results In the A group,the artery diametcr was obvious widen before functional training without operation,and the vein diameter was obvious widen before functional training without operation too,P ＜ 0.05.After operation,the A group Anastomotic unobstructed was obviously better than B group in one-stage,P ＜ 0.05.A group with thrombosis cases significantly less postoperative than B group,P ＜ 0.05.A group with edema of hands was significantly shorter than B group,P ＜ 0.01.Postoperative fistula time to maturity in the A group was (43.76 ± 2.21) days,which was significantly shorter than that of in the B group,(49.69 ± 5.85) days,P ＜ 0.01.Conclusion Systematic strengthening of perioperative functional exercises can significantly improve preoperative vascular conditions,improve the success rate of operation,reduce risk of thrombosis cases,shorten the time of hand edema and the time of fistula in mature.

Objective To explore the mechanism that gold nanorods trigger apoptosis in cancer cells.Methods Gold nanorods was synthesized by gold seed growing method, and its characterization was detected; gold nanorods on cell proliferation-toxicity were evaluated by CCK-8 Kit and apoptosis were detected by flow; mitochondrial membrane potential were tested by JC-1 and activation of Caspase 9 and Caspase 3 were detected by western blot. Results The results found that gold nanorods had nontoxic to normal cells, but highly toxic to tumor cells; and with the increasing of gold nanorods’ working time, the percentage of apoptotic cancer cells was increasing; in addition to, normal cells’ mitochondrial membrane potential did not change, but cancer cells had a significant reduction in mitochondrial membrane potential.Conclusion This study proves that gold nanorods induce apoptosis through the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapy for advanced biliary tract carcinoma and the factors that influence sur-vival. Methods:A total of 91 cases of advanced biliary tract carcinoma from January 2010 to April 2015 were enrolled in our study. The patients' characteristics, chemotherapy regimens, and effects were analyzed. Results:We enrolled 56 males and 35 females with a me-dian age of 57 years. A total of 90 patients were assessable for their responses to first-line chemotherapy. A total of 69 patients re-ceived the GP regimen, whereas 21 patients received some other regimens. The disease control rate (DCR), median progression free survival (mPFS), and median overall survival (mOS) were 68.1%versus 52.4%, 5.10 months versus 2.50 months (P=0.025), and 13.00 months versus 7.20 months, respectively. Only 31 patients received S-1 based regimens, and 12 patients received some other regi-mens as second-line chemotherapy. The DCR, median PFS, and median OS showed no statistical differences. Only four patients re-ceived S-1 based regimen plus bevacizumab as second-line chemotherapy (median PFS 5.3 months;median OS 7 months). Hematologi-call toxicity was the most common side effect in the first-line GP regimen. The side effects of the S-1 based chemotherapy regimen was relatively less. Conclusion:The GP regimen is an effective first-line chemotherapy for advanced biliary tract carcinoma, whereas S-1 ap-pears as an effective second-line chemotherapy drug. Bevacizumab-based regimens may be effective and require further validation.

Objective: To understand knowledge and awareness of hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) and associated factors among parents of kindergarten children in urban district of Huzhou City and to provide a veference for making effective measure of health education of HFMD. Methods: Self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate 851 parents from 6 kindergartens by stratified cluster random sampling. Results: The overall recognition of HFMD was 8.15±3.43, and the qualified rate was 5.17%. Awareness rates of sources, transmission routes, symptoms and signs, as well as preventive measures were 34.08%, 20.80%, 3.41% and 30.32%, respectively. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that kindergarten type(B=-1.07), gender(B=0.70), age(B=-0.41), education level(B=1.60), occupation (B=-1.37) associated with awareness of HFMD (P<0.05).The top three sources of HFMD prevention and treatment were mobile messages(45.24%), kindergarten lectures (43.24%) and brochure/propaganda column(40.19%) . Conclusion The general knowledge and awareness of HFMD among parents of kindergartens children’s parents is low in urban district of Huzhou city. In order to improve the awareness and health-related behaviors among parents of kindergarten children to prevent HFMD, child care institutions and basic public health service health education programs should be relied on, to carry out appropriate health communication and intervention.

Objective To investigate the value of cystic adenomatoid malformation volume ratio (CVR) using prenatal ultrasound in evaluation of congenital pulmonary sequestrations (PS) prognosis in fetus.Methods Totally 88 cases of fetal PS diagnosed with prenatal ultrasound were enrolled.The fetal CVR were recorded,and the clinical outcomes were observed.The fetus were further divided into CVR≥1.6 group and CVR＜1.6 group,then the fetal hydrops rate,incidence of respiratory distress symptoms after birth and perinatal infant survival rate between two groups were compared.Results In 88 cases,prenatal ultrasound diagnosed intralobar pulmonary sequestration (ILS) type in 62 cases (62/88,70.45％),extralobar pulmonary sequestration (ELS) type I in 19 cases (19/88,21.59％),and ELS type Ⅱ in 7 cases (7/88,7.95％).There were 81 (81/88,92.05％) live births,5 (5/88,5.68％) of induction,and 2 (2/88,2.27％) of intrauterine fetal death,respectively.In 44 cases of CVR≥1.6 group,36 cases (36/44,81.82％) had respiratory symptoms after birth,and 39 (39/44,88.64％) had combined fetal hydrops.The live birth rate was 84.09％ (37/44).In 44 cases of CVR＜1.6 group,3 cases (3/44,6.82％) had respiratory symptoms after birth and 3 (3/44,6.82％) had combined fetal hydrops.The live birth rate was 100％ (44/44).The fetal hydrops rate,incidence of respiratory symptoms after birth and perinatal infant survival rate were statistically different between the two groups (all P＜0.05).Conclusion Prenatal ultrasound CVR is an effective index for screening and assessing the prognosis in fetus with PS.

Background Radiation-induced liver damage is a major complication for primary liver cancer and other upper abdominal tumors during radiation therapy. The early biological effects of radiation-induced liver damage at different doses of radiation and its mechanisms of action have not yet been elucidated. Objective To establish X-ray-induced radioactive mouse liver damage model and explore the level of oxidative stress and its correlation with nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1). Methods A total of 24 male C57BL/6J mice aged 6 weeks were randomly divided into 4 groups (control, 0.8 Gy, 1.6 Gy, and 4 Gy), with 6 mice in each group. X-rays irradiated the whole body of mice singly in each dose group. At 24 h after radiation, histopathological changes in mouse liver were evaluated; peripheral blood cell count, serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels, as well as liver tissue superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, malondialdehyde (MDA) level, reduced glutathione (GSH) level, and 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) level were measured; real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect liver tissue NF-κB p65 and TGF-β1 mRNA expression levels; the correlations of oxidative stress indicators with NF-κB p65 and TGF-β1 mRNA expression levels were analyzed by Pearson correlation. Results Compared with the control group, at 24 h after different doses of X-ray radiation, early injury-related histopathological changes were observed in liver, and the serum levels of AST and ALT were significantly increased in the 4 Gy group (P<0.05); the numbers of peripheral blood leukocytes and lymphocytes were decreased in the radiation exposure groups (P<0.05), showing a decreasing trend with increasing radiation doses; the levels of liver oxidative stress indicators (MDA, SOD, and GSH) in exposed mice were significantly increased (P<0.05), showing an increasing trend with increasing radiation doses. The liver 8-OHdG were significantly increased in the 1.6 Gy and 4 Gy groups compared with the control and the 0.8 Gy groups, respectively (P<0.05). The NF-κB p65 and TGF-β1 mRNA expression levels in the liver of mice were significantly increased in the 1.6 Gy and 4 Gy groups compared with the control group (P<0.05). The TGF-β1 mRNA expression level also exhibited an increasing trend with increasing radiation doses. The results of correlation analysis showed that the levels of MDA, SOD, GSH, and 8-OHdG in liver tissues were significantly and positively correlated with the expression levels of NF-κB p65 and TGF-β1 mRNA (P<0.05). Conclusion X-rays of various doses can affect the degree of liver injury, peripheral blood cell count, serum levels of AST and ALT, and liver oxidative stress levels in mice. The level of oxidative stress induced by X-ray is positively correlated with NF-κB and TGF-β1 in liver tissues, and it may participate in the process of radiation-induced liver injury.
