Objective To establish normal range of components of cord blood cells in healthy fetuses from 19 to 37 weeks' gestation and to provide proof for diagnosis of hematological disorders in prenatal fetuses and premature infants. Methods Twelve hematological parameters were determined in 182 fetuses using Coulter GENS system 2 full automated blood cell counter, and the blood cells were classified by microscope. Results The number of white blood cell(WBC) was increased gradually from 3.58?10~9/L to 5.76?10~9/L with the gestational weeks increasing from 19 to 37 weeks. The differential counts indicated that the lymphocytes represented the main population. The number of lymphocytes and normoblast was decreased gradually and that of neutrophils was increased gradually. The numbers of monocytes, eosinophils and basophils remained stable as the increasing of gestational weeks. The red blood cell(RBC),hemoglobin(HGB) and hematocrit(HCT) were increased gradually but mean corpuscular volume(MCV) was decreased. The differences between mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH),platelet volume distribution width(PDW),mean platelet volume(MPV),plateletcrit(PCT) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC) were not significant among different fetuses' ages. Conclusion The components of cord blood cells in healthy fetuses are dynamic and the establishment normal range of components of cord blood cells in healthy fetuses is helpful to diagnose the disorders in prenatal fetuses and premature infants.

Objective To explore the effects of modified vaginal douche for preventing radiotherapy complications in patients with cervical cancer receiving radiotherapy. Methods Totally 100 patients with cervical cancer receiving radiotherapy were recruited and divided into the experimental group (n=50)and the control group (n=50). The experimental group received vaginal irrigation with modified vaginal douche. The control group received conventional vaginal irrigation. The degree of vaginal cleanliness and the incidence rate of radiotherapy complications were compared between the control group and the experimental group. Results There was a significant difference between the two groups on the degree of vaginal cleanliness (P<0.01). The incidence of vaginitis and vaginal stenosis in the experimental group was 4% and 2%, which was lower than those in the control group (22%, 16%), and the differences were statistically significant (x2=9.890,5.132;P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with traditional vaginal douche, modified vaginal douche is more effective in patients with cervical cancer receiving radiotherapy, and can significantly reduce the incidence of radiotherapy complications.

Objective To develop audio-visual materials and confirm their effect in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma receiving radiotherapy. Methods Audio-visual development were produced based on relevant literature, professional demonstration, and digital video. A total of 84 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were selected from Jinhua Hospital of Zhejiang University and divided into control group (n=42) and intervention group (n=42) according to admission time. The patients of control group received usual one-to-one healthcare education. The patients of intervention group received audio-visual materials systematically for imitation excise with professional guidance. The compliance of rehabilitation exercise and patients′ satisfaction on nursing service were compared between two groups. Results The scores of compliance in the intervention group at 1 month after discharge and at 3 months after discharge ware higher than those of the control group (P<0. 05). There was significant difference between the intervention group and the control group in patients′satisfaction (P<0. 01). Conclusions Self-made audio-visual materials are intuitionistic, iconic, straightaway, imitable, receivable, and they can improve patients′ compliance on rehabilitation exercise and satisfaction on nursing service effectively.
