Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(32):245-247
OBJECTIVE: Child learning disability is a basic academic skill acquiring obstacle, often presented by learning difficulty and abnormality in emotion and behaviors. Those who cannot receive in-time intervention would likely to appear immorality, depression, even personality obstacle and countersocial behaviors. Therefore, to review on the causes and early signs of child learning difficulties is important for finding the common reasons and main manifestations, and benefiting for the early diagnosis and interventions for children with learning disabilities.DATA SOURCES: Using the terms "Learning disabilities, Children, Survey documents", the relative articles published in the English from January 1985 to December 2003, were searched in PubMed database by computer.A search in China periodical database and Wanfang database was also conducted using the key word of "Learning disabilities, Children, review"for related articles published in Chinese from January 1990 to December 2003.STUYD SELECTION: Original articles were selected after elimination of the irrelative ones, inclusion criteria: randomized control study of the cause, early manifestations of children learning disability, as well as prognosis and correcting methods were selected.DATA EXTRACTION: Of the total 25 articles were about children learning disability, 16 were found closely related to be subjected and concerned and 9 were repetition ones.DATA SYNTHESIS: Totally 3 132 children with learning difficulties according to the diagnostic standards involved in the 16 experiments. And 2 081 children in 10 articles were investigated and revealed, the cause might involve heredity factors, brain dysfunction, brain structural abnormality, brain trauma and environment influence; 1 051 cases in 6 articles were analyzed and indicated that the main presentation of children learning disability consists of reading obstacle, spelling and writing difficulties, calculating obstacle, mood and behavior problems, moreover the prognosis and correcting methods were also mentioned.CONCLUSION: The cause of children learning disability is still unclear,it might be the combined results of multiple intrinsic and extrinsic factors, and divided into reading obstacle, spelling and writing difficulties, calculating skill obstacle, mood and behavior problems. The most important thing for the correction of children learning disability is early diagnosis and treatment.
5.Studies on the prolactin receptors on the membrane of rat liver cells
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
Binding sites or receptors for prolactin were identified in crude membrane fractions prepared from female lactating Sprague-Dawley rat using receptor radioassay. The results further indicated that the membrane of rat liver cells are rich in prolactin receptors, and the Scatchard analysis of the binding of ~(125)I-oPRL to receptors revealed that female rat liver cells contained two classes of prolactin receptors (Kd_1=3.20?10~(-10) M, Kd_2=1.26?10~(-8)M) with high specificity.

Objective To explore the effect of recombined Human epidermal growth factor (rhEG) combined with alprostadilon Wnt/β-Catenin signal pathway in rats with diabetic ulcer. Methods Rats with diabetic ulcer were randomly divided into four groups :control group ,rhEG group ,epidermal group and combined treatment group. Ulcer skin was smeared by normalsaline in control group ,and by rhEG in rhEG group. Epidermal was administered from caudal vein in epidermal group.Combined treatment group was treated by rhEG and epidermal at the same time. The healing status were observed. The proteinand mRNA expression of Wnt-1 ,β-Catenin and GSK-3β were measured 14 days after treatment. Results The healing rates in combined treatment group were (9.76 ± 2.37 )% ,(35.74 ± 3.65 )% ,(51.37 ± 4.16)% and (84.42 ± 5.35 )% respectivelyin 6th , 10th and 14th day after treatment , which were significantly higher than in rhEG group and epidermal group (P<0.05). The mRNA levels of Wnt-1 ,β-Catenin and GSK-3βin combined treatment group were (1.42 ± 0.19) ,(1.56 ± 0.21) and (0.95 ± 0.15) after treatment for 14 days ,which were significantly higher than in rhEG group and epidermal group (P<0.05). Protein levels of Wnt-1 ,β-Catenin and GSK-3βin combined treatment group were (1.17 ± 0.16) , (1.38 ± 0.18 ) and (0.81 ± 0.13 ) after treatment for 14 days ,which were significantly higher than in rhEG group and epidermal group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion rhEG combined with epidermal can significantly accelerate the healing of diabetic ulcer ,and can regulatethe Wnt/β-Catenin signal pathway by increasing the expression of Wnt-1 ,β-Catenin and GSK-3β.
7.EFFECTS OF SUPPLEMENTATION OF L-ASCORBIC ACID IN HIGH DOSES ON METABOLISM OF TECHNICAL BENZENE HEXACHLORIDE (BHC) .
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
The effects of chronic administration of technical benzene hexachloride on histological pattern of liver and kidney in rat and mixed function oxidase system of liver microsomes were studied. Administration of BHC brought about increase in the liver weight, vacuolar of hepatic cells and hydropic degeneration of the epithelial cells of the renal tubules. Through electromi-croscopic examination, we discovered that there were proliferation and expansion of the smooth endoplasmic reticulum, swelling of the mitochondria in the cytoplasm in the liver cells and kidney cells and increase in the number of lysosome in the epithelial cells of the renal tubles.Administration of BHC stimulated an increase in the tissue storage and urinary excretion of ascorbic acid and induced mixed-function oxidase system of liver microsomes.Supplementation of L-ascorbic acid in high doses under the toxic conditions significantly improved pathological damage of the liver and kidney cells, decreased residuary amount of BHC in the tissue, and facilitated the induction of mixed-function oxidase system of liver microsomes by BHC.
8.Study progression of GLP-1 analogues in type 1 diabetes and islet transplant
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2010;26(7):-
Type 1 diabetes mellitus (TlDM) is an autoimmune disease characterized by the destruction of pancreatic β cells, which sequentially leading to the reduction of insulin secretion. Numerous susceptibilities, including genetic and environmental factors, may be involved in triggering the T1DM. The ideal therapy for T1DM should focus on both preventing the immune system from attacking β cells, and also the stimulation of β cell neogenesis. In vitro and in vivo studies both demonstrated that GLP-1 analogues were able to promote the synthesis and secretion of insulin, stimulate neogenesis of β cells, increase β cells replication, and reduce β cell apoptosis. Hence, GLP-1 analogues have been shown to be potential treatment for T1DM. This work reviewed recent publications regarding to GLP-1 application in TlDM and pancreatic islet transplantations and prospected the future research directions.
