?AlM: To discuss the artificial tears on the tear film of diabetic patients with dry eye preoperatively, and the influence on the tear film’s fuctional after phacoemulsification.
?METHODS: Fifty-four diabetic patients with dry eye (60 eyes) were followed up before phacoemulsification. Preoperatively, group A ( 30 eyes in 28 cases ) was treated with Hydroxyl lndican eye drops and group B (30 eyes in 26 cases) was not treated. Postoperatively, both group A and B were treated with Tobramycin Dexamethasone eye drops, Oprah Winfrey lbuprofen eye drops and Hydroxyl lndican eye drops. Dry eye symptoms, break up time (BUT), SchirmerItest (SIt), fluorescein stain test ( Fl ) were measured at 3d preoperatively, and 1, 7, 30, 90d postoperatively.
? RESULTS: At 3d preoperatively, there was no statistical differences between the two groups for dry eye symptoms, BUT, S I t, Fl ( P>0. 05 ). At 1 and 7d postoperatively, there were significant statistical differents between the two groups for dry eye symptoms (P<0. 05). And dry eye symptoms scores of group A were less than that of group B. At 1, 7, 30d postoperatively, BUT was longer, FL was less, Slt was increased in group A, with significant statistical differences (all P<0. 05). At 90d postoperatively, two groups of dry eye symptoms, BUT, S I t, Fl had no statistical significance (P>0. 05).
? CONCLUSlON: Using artificial tears before phacoemulsification can improve symptoms of the diabetic patients with dry eye and accelerate the recovery of the tear film.
3.Advances of Exercise for Physical Activity in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2017;23(9):1068-1071
Physical activity is limited in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients, and higher level of physical activity may result in less risk of death, milder depression or ahypnosis, less fatigue and better quality of life. Physical activity may relate with many factors. MHD patients may be benefited from exercise to improve the physical activity, mainly with aerobic exercise and resistance training during hemodialysis. Nurses can do more in health education and direction of exercise for MHD patients.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 1995;4(1):8-11
Forty-eight patients with essential hypertension or coronary disease in cardiac function NYHA class I underwent a routine electrocardiography and a cotour Dopper echocardiography were studied, and by multiple stepwise regression analysis irwas found that significant partial correlations exist between PTFVl and left atrial dimensionas wee as E peak,Macruz index and A peak.Macruz index≥1.6 gave a sensitivity of 71%VS accuracy 64% for A peak increase(>70 cm/s),of 61% vs 58% for A/E>1 respectively,.These results suggest that electrocardiographlic indexes of abnormality of left atriun combined with Colour Doppler echocardiograpby may be more helpful to predict wkether the latent left ventricutar diastolic dysfunction or decrease of diastolic reserve was present or absent in patients with essential hypertension or coronary artery disease in normal clinical cardiac function.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(7):533-536
Aberrant promoter methylation in special genes such as tumor suppressor genes is early eventin carcinogenesis of lung cancer. Aberrant methylation, resulting in corresponding mRNA silence or overexpression , closely relates to carcinogenesis, development, treatment response and prognosis of lung cancer and it may become a potential biomarker. Methylation of special genes may provide evidences for individual treatment of lung cancers.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 1993;0(04):-
Objective To observe the effects of puerarin on the expression of glycogen synthase kinase- 3 (GSK- 3) in the skeletal muscle of rats with insulin resistance induced by high fat and sucrose diets. Methods 30 Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups: normal group, model group and puerarin group, 10 rats in each group. The model group and puerarin group were fed with the high fat and sucrose diets for 4 weeks. Then puerarin group was treated with puerarin by abdominal injection (100 mg/kg) for 6 weeks. At the end of the experiment, GSK- 3 content was detected by Western blot analysis. Body weight, serum triglyceride and cholesterol levels, fasting plasma glucose and serum insulin concentrations were measured regularly and insulin sensitivity index was also computed as well. Results The outcome of Western blot analysis showed that the expression of GSK- 3 in the skeletal muscle of the model group increased by 70.20 % (P

Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2000;0(09):-
Objective To find the key proteins associated with metastasis of ovarian cancer, and find potential diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets of this malignancy. Methods A comparative proteomic strategy, in a combination of two-dimensional electrophoresis separation and mass spectrometry identification, was adopted to search for proteome alternations in an ovarian cancer mother cell line HO-8910 and its highly metastatic cell subline HO-8910PM. Results Twenty-one significantly different spots (two-fold increase or decrease) were detected between the two cell lines, of which 17 candidate proteins were successfully identified and characterized. Compared with those in HO-8910 mother cell line, 16 proteins were significantly up-regulated, while 5 proteins down-regulated in the highly metastatic cell subline HO-8910PM. The seventeen identified proteins could be functionally classified into 7 groups as following: zinc finger protein, calcium-binding protein, DNA repair and synthesis protein, cell regulatory protein, metabolism-related protein, cell surface antigen, cell signals and transducing protein. Conclusions The results suggest that an obviously differential proteomic expression exists between the human ovarian cancer mother cell line HO-8910 and highly metastatic cell subline HO-8910PM. It provides a clue for further identification of metastasis-related proteins, novel diagnostic markers as well as therapeutic targets of this malignancy.

Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
A PCR assay used for detection and quantification of Neotyphodium lolii in tissues of the grass Lolium perenne L. was developed. Compared with the Microscopic analysis of stained tissues, this method was more accurate. For quantitative applications, real time PCR was used to quantify Neotyphodium lolii in Lolium perenne L.. The results showed that there were some variations between different individuals, but no variance existed between different tillers from the same plant. Thus it can be concluded that fungal content in the plant is not only associated with species/variety specific, but also with the genotype of the host plant as well.
