2.Application of ultrasonic freestyle extended imaging in different diseases
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(10):-
Objective To study the application of ultrasonic freestyle extended imaging(FEI) in thyroid, breast, artery, vein diseases. Methods Thirty-five patients with above mentioned diseases were examined by FEI and the images were analyzed. Results FEI could entirely show the scan region needed. It also could enhance image quality, show the physiologic radian of the body, measure the nidi accurately. Conclusion The FEI technology provides more image information and is of great help to improve the clinic diagnosis ratios.
3.Analysis of interal carotid artery hemodynamics of patients with hyperlipemia by transcranial doppler ultrasound(TCD)
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(z2):3-4
Objective To explore the clinical application value of transcranial Doppler on patients with hyperlipidemia. Methods 80 patients with hyperlipemia and 70 healthy people were studied by transcranial Doppler ultrasound(TCD) of interal carotid artery hemodynamics. Results 57 (71.7%)of the 80 patients with hyperlipemia had arteriosclerosis, and terminal sclerosis happened on 12 patients ( 13.3% ). Compared with the control group, the difference was all statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion Hemodynamics at the terminal of interal carotid artery patients with hyperlipemia was obvious abnormal studied by transcranial Doppler ultrasound (TCD) , and sclerosis of interal carotid artery is common complication of patients with hyperlipemia. Results showed that TCD could be used as a routine method for testing of patients with hyperlipemia and had some value in preventing cerebrovascular disease induced by hyperlipidemia.
4.No Effect of IV Cyclophosphamide in Children with Steroid Resistant Nephrotic Sydrome.

Sometimes a pilomatrixoma on upper neck can be misdiagnosed as primary salivary gland tumor, skin adnexal tumor or metastatic carcinoma. On fine needle aspiration cytology(FNAC), characteristic features are ghost cells, basaloid cells, and calcium deposits, among which presence of ghost cells seems to be the key to recognize it. Here we present a cytologically misdiagnosed case of pilomatrixoma. A 32-year-old man presented a subcutaneous mass on the right posterior neck. It has grown slowly for 1 year, and was nontender, well circumscribed, hard, and movable mass. An initial FNAC yielded only monomorphic population of highly mitotic basaloid cells, without anucleated ghost cells, chronic inflammatory cells or foreign-body giant cells, suggestive of a poorly differentiated carcinoma. However, that was inconsistent with patient's clinical findings. For further correct diagnosis, FNAC was repeated, which yielded the basaloid cells and foreign-body giant cells. The diagnosis of pilomatrixoma could be made and the mass was excised. This case demonstrates that the pilomatrixoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of subcutaneous aspirates containing not ghost cells but a dominant population of basaloid cells.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the pathophysiological changes in irradiation-induced heart injury in rats in order to provide preventive and therapeutic strategies for irradiation-induced heart disease(RIHD).Methods Experiments were performed using female Wistar rats with body weight of approximately 220g.12 female Wistar rats were randomly assigned to two groups(sham-irradiated group and irradiated group).Heart of rats was locally irradiated with 60Co ?-ray at a dosage of 20 Gy.During the post-radiation period, the intake of food and activities of the animals were observed daily and the body weight was recorded monthly. On the 120th day after irradiation, myocardial perfusion was tested using real time myocardial contrast echocardiography(RTMCE).On the 180th day after irradiation, the hearts were isolated from the rats of the both groups, and they were perfused with a Langendorff apparatus.Hemodynamic measurements, including peak systolic LV pressure(LVSP),maximal rate of LV pressure rise(LV dp/dtmax)and fall(LV dp/dtmin)were studied. Then the hearts were examined pathologically with HE staining. Results Animals irradiated with single dose of 20Gy locally were apparently in a good condition during the observation period of 180 days.No differences in food intake, physical activities and body weight were observed between irradiated and control animals. However, myocardial blood velocity(beta)of irradiated rats was significantly lower than that of sham irradiated group(P

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the prevalence of sick building syndrome (SBS) and explore the related risk factors in the people working in office environment in Beijing. Methods A cross-sectional study design was made in the present paper in April 2009. One hundred and two employees in 16 small and moderate offices in three different buildings in Beijing were investigated with the questionnaire for their subjective symptoms, environmental perceptions, psychosocial information and health situation. The indoor environmental factors of the buildings were monitored based on the standardized procedures at the same time. Generalized linear model and multilevel model were used for the data analysis. Results The prevalence rate of symptoms for sick building syndrome was 67.4%. The prevalence rate of SBS symptoms was positively associated with the self-feelings of the subject to high temperature, insufficient ventilation indoors, work stress, satisfaction for job and health complains, as well as with using photocopier in office by ANOVA(P
