3.Surgical treatment of undescended testis by elongating the spermatic vessel and cord
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1998;231(12):113-119
In the Urological Department of Cho Ray hospital 1n 1998, 10 cases with non-palpable testis were operated. The lowest age of patients was 6 years old, the highest age was 27, the average was 14. Eight testes were in iliac fossae, 2 testes were in internal inguinal ring. Authors used technique liberating testicular vessels: elongating spermatic vessel and cord long enough to allow the testis to be placed into scrotum; creating a direct path to scrotum and thus, it is able to descend the testis into the scrotum by single stage orchidopexy, without traction on the vessels and damaging the blood supplying for testis. Six of ten cases were followed-up after operation by Doppler Ultrasonography. All receive good blood supply, no atrophy of testis was seen after operation

Korean Journal of Urology 1983;24(3):495-498
Pure rhabdomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord is rare. We present a case of rhabdomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord presenting as a large scrotal mass and mimicking testicular tumor. The literatures were reviewed.

We report 2 cases of intrauterine unilateral testicular torsion This experience reemphasizes the necessity of a careful and complete examination of the newborn immediate after delivery. The presence of a scrotal mass in a newborn that does not transilluminate represent trosion of the spermatic cord until proved otherwise, and demands immediate surgical intervention through an inguinal approach for accurate diagnosis and appropriate therapy.

We recently encountered a very rare case of torsion of an intrascrotal testicular tumor in a 26-year-old male. Unlike the intra-abdominal undescended testis, intrascrotal spermatic cord torsion associated with a testicular tumor has rarely been reported. We write to report a case of intrascrotal spermatic cord torsion accompanied by a testicular tumor that had been overlooked preoperatively.

Philippine Journal of Urology 2017;27(2):131-137
Liposarcoma of the spermatic cord is a rare condition with a limited number of published reports in literature. These tumors are mostly diagnostic dilemmas where they are mistaken for other inguinoscrotal masses preoperatively and are only accurately diagnosed after surgery. This case report presents a liposarcoma initially mimicking an indirect inguinal hernia on presentation and a definitive diagnosis was confirmed via histopathologic examination. A literature review of other cases that have been previously reported is also presented.

Korean Journal of Urology 2006;47(3):341-343
Neoplasms of the spermatic cord are rare tumors. Especially, the spermatic cord is an extremely unusual site for cavernous hemangioma. We experienced a recurrent cavernous hemangioma in a 12 year-old boy. His chief complaint was recurrent inguinal mass and he was pathologically diagnosed as having a cavernous hemangioma of the spermatic cord. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first Korean report of a recurrent cavernous hemangioma of the spermatic cord.
