1.Research progression of raltitrexed in the treatment of gastric cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(7):535-537
Raltitrexed is a specific inhibitor of thymidylate synthase, and has been confirmed that ralti-trexed has no cross tolerance with 5-fluorouracil.Studies have shown that raltitrexed-based combination chemo-therapy has a beneficial effect on the treatment of advanced gastric cancer, and well tolerance, which is worthy of clinical use.
2.Clarify some problems when selecting multifocal intraocular lens
Ophthalmology in China 1994;0(02):-
Recently more and more ophthalmologists selected a multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) for their cataract patient in order to get good unaided reading vision. Although the design of IOL have made a great progress, we are still dissatisfied compared with our natural crystal lens. Understanding the design theory and improving our surgery technique are basic for better utilization the multifocal IOL. Does the multifocal IOL reduce contrast sensitivity? Should we implant the multifocal IOL in pediatric cataract surgery? How can we deal with the residual refractive error after multifocal IOL implantation? In this editorial, we try to clarify these problems to make us select and use multifocal IOL better.

4.Reliability and validity of the collective self-esteem scale in freshman
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2008;17(8):760-761
Objective To test the reliability and validity of the collective self-esteem scale for freshman. Methods 800 freshmen finished the Collective Self-Esteem Scale, the Life Satisfaction Scale, and Self-esteem Scale. Results The confirmatory factor analysis shows that collective esteem includes membership esteem, private collective esteem, public collective esteem, and importance to identiy intemal consistency a of the scale and the 4 components of the scale ale between0.6357and 0.8369.All components of the scale except importance to identity have significantly positive correlation with life satisfaction and self-esteem.(0.14<r<0.41,P<0.01).Gids have more scores than boys in total collective esteem(t=3.38,P<0.01),Private CSE and Importance to Identity (t=3.32,P<0.01).Conclusion The revised collective self-esteem scale for freshmen has sound reliability and validity. It is a good instrument for measuring collective self-esteem of Chinese freshman.
6. Extraction process of active phenols from clerodendranthus spicatus
Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2016;43(2):365-369
Objective To optimize the extraction process of active phenols from Clerodendranthus spicatus (Thunb) C.Y.Wu (CS). Methods The contents of total phenols, rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid, eupatorin and the yield of extract were chosen as indexes. Five methods, including methods of alkaline water extraction, alkaline water extraction with borax, water decoction, warmimpregnation with water and reflux with alcohol were compared. The extracting conditions were optimized by the orthogonal test and the single factor experiment. Results Reflux with alcohol was found to be the best way for phenols from CS. The optimized process was selected. CS was extracted with 50% alcohol twice. The extraction time of each time was 1.5 h. The volume of 50% alcohol was 10 times that of the raw material. Conclusion The optimum process is reasonable, stable and practicable.
7. Intension research on influencing factors of medicinal properties formation of Lonicera japonica and cause hypothesis in explaining medicinal properties of Chinese materia medica single herb
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2020;51(11):3090-3096
The four natures are the basic properties of Chinese materia medica (CMM). At present, it is one of the research hotspots to reveal the scientific connotation of CMM property theory. Clarifying the formation process and influencing factors of the medicinal properties of each single herb in a long historical period is the basic condition for the induction and summary of common characteristics of TCM property theory. Through the textual research of ancient books and documents, combined with the research results of modern Chinese medicine science, this paper combs the influence factors in the formation of the medicinal properties of Lonicera japonica, and reveals its scientific connotation. That is to say, the formation of the medicinal properties of each single herb of TCM is the result of its efficacy material base, the efficacy reflected in the process of clinical treatment and the tendency of clinical medication in previous dynasties. Based on the above research, the cause hypothesis of single herb property is put forward for the first time. The hypothesis provides a reference for the theoretical study of medicine property of TCM.
9. Comparison on ginsenosides in Panax ginseng from different habitats in northeast China and its processed products
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(24):3551-3556
Objective: To investigate the contents of total ginsenosides and 10 sorts of monomer ginsenosides in the roots of Panax ginseng from different habitats of northeast China and its processed products, and thus to provide the useful reference data for its quality st andard establishment and st andardized cultivation. Methods: Based on the pharmacopoeia and literatures related to the roots of P. ginseng, the contents of total ginsenosides and 10 sorts of monomer ginsenosides in the roots of P. ginseng samples collected from 10 different habitats of northeast China and its processed product samples were studied and determined, and then these various indicators were analyzed by DTOPSIS method. Results: Ginseng from Changbai, Ji'an, and Fusong reached the st andard of Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010 and Chinese National St andards in those different measurement indicators. Comprehensive evaluation of ginseng from Changbai, Ji'an, Fusong, and Jingyu by DTOPSIS method showed better results than others. Conclusion: The qualities of ginseng from different habitats of northeast China are different. Ginseng collected from those four habitats which result better quality of ginseng than that of ginseng from other place stems from Chinese GAP ginseng planting bases, and thus reflects the importance of GAP for ginseng cultivation.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(03):-
Objective: To study the plasma concentrations and pharmacokinetic parameters of 6,7 dimethoxycoumarin after oral administration of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae decoction and Yinchenhao decoction. Methods: A HPLC UV method was developed to determine 6,7 dimethoxycoumarin in rat plasma. The drug was extracted with acetonitrile from plasma and separated on a Kromasil ODS (250mm?4.6mm,5?m)column with methanol 1% solution of acetic acid THF (30∶63∶7) as mobile phase, UV detecter was set at 340nm. The data obtained were analyzed with Topfit program. Results: The liner calibration curves were obtained in the concentration range of 0.026~2.5 ?g?mL -1 . With non compartmental analysis, the main pharmacokinetic parameters after oral administration of Artemisiae Scopariae decoction and Yinchenhao decoction were as follows: T 1/2 was 1.30 and 1.75h, AUC 0→t was 1215.00 and 2527.85ng?h?mL -1 , AUC 0→∝ was 1325.90 and 2612.58ng?h?mL -1 respectively. Conclusion: This method can be used to study the pharmacokinetics of 6,7 dimethoxycoumarin derived from different traditional Chinese medicines containing this component.
