2.Recent progress in immunomodulatory mechanisms of mesenchymal stem cells in diabetic retinopathy
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2016;32(2):221-224
Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a common cause of blindness, its occurrence and development are the synergic results of multiple factors.Current studies suggest that inflammation and inflammatory factor has an important role in the pathogenesis of DR.The occurrence and development of DR are closely related with interleukins, intercellular adhesion molecules, hasten factors, tumor necrosis factor,C-reactive protein etc.Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are pluripotent cells derived from the mesoderm and have multiple differentiation potentials, and anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive function.Recent studies shown that MSCs transplantation can protect damaged retina by inflammatory regulation, which become a new research direction for DR treatment.

Orthogonal design was used to opti-mize the formula and preparation process of the suspension, and HPLC was used to determine the content of sorafenib. The chromato-graphic column was Inertsil ODS-3 (250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5μm), the mobile phase was 20 mmol·L-1 ammonium acetate buffer-aceto-nitrile(28 ∶72), the detection wavelength was 266 nm, the flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1, the column temperature was 40℃, and the sample size was 20 μl. Results:The optimal formula and preparation process were as follows:sucrose (48%) was used as the filler, xanthan gum (28%) and CMC-Na (12%) were the suspending agents, MCC (10%) was used as the disintegrant, and 6% PVP (in 50% ethanol) was the adhesive. The linear range of sorafenib was 1-100 μg·ml-1(r=0.999 8), and the recovery was 98.96%(RSD=0. 75%, n=9). Conclusion:The optimal formula and preparation process are repeatable. The HPLC method is simple and specific, which can be used to determine sorafenib.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2017;33(4):300-302
The paper presented the scheme of performance appraisal on rational administration of drugs and its outcomes against the background of separation of clinic from pharmacy reform. It found the proportion of medicine decreasing year by year;pass rate of prescriptions above 99%;drug cost per visit decreasing significantly;and the usage rate of antibiotics up to the national standards in a rational trend.Rational drug use has become an effective tool in overseeing physicians' rational drug use and ensuring patient safety.
7.The influence of propofol on respiratory mechanics during painless induced abortion
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1995;0(10):-
Objective Propofol has profound influence on respiration. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of propofol on respiratory mechanics during painless induced abortion. Methods Forty ASA Ⅰ women in early pregnancy (45-60 days) aged 17-52 yrs, weighing 42-80 kg undergoing induced abortion were enrolled in this study. Anesthesia was induced with intravenous 2.5 mg?kg-1 and maintained with intermittent i.v. boluses of propofol 30-50 mg. SpO2 and HR were monitored with Nellcor N-180 pulse oximeter. Respiratory mechanics was monitored with IFA-300 anemometer (TSI Co. USA) . The parameters measured included inspiratory / expiratory maximal air-flow velocity, inspiratory / expiratory mean air flow velocity, mean inspiratory and expiratory time, respiratory rate, inspiratory / expiratory air flow volume, dynamic inspiratory and expiraory airway pressure and indidence of apnea. Results SpO2 decreased significantly during maintenance of anesthesia with propofol. The mean and maximal inspiratory / expiratory airflow velocity and the inspiratory / expiratory airflow volume all decreased significantly during propofol anesthesia. The dynamic inspiratory / expiratory airway pressure significantly decreased during propofol anesthesia. The respiratory rate was significantly higher during propofol anesthesia while the mean inspiratory /expiratory time became shorter. Three patients developed apnea during induction of anesthesia with propofol (7.5%) . Spontaneous breathing returned within 1 min. Conclusion Spontaneous breathing is significantly depressed during propofol anesthesia in terms of respiratory mechanics. Care should be taken to maintain oxygenation and ventilation of the patient.

China Pharmacy 1991;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE:To compare the therapeutic effects of taurine and catalin eye drops.METHODS:All the mice were divided into the normal control group, the cataract control group, the taurine group and the catalin eye drops group.Except the normal control group, the rest ones were used to establish the galactose cataract models and then received eyedrop administration everyday. The contents of taurine, glycin and glutamic acid in crystalline lens were measured by high perfor?mance liquid chromatography.RESULTS:The contents of amino-acids were not found lower in the taurine group as com?pared with the catalin eye drops group.CONCLUSION:Taurine shows the preventive and therapeutic effects on the experi?mental cataract, which can be comparable to that of catalin eye drops or even more advantageous.
9.Periprosthetic osteolysis induced by wear particles:research progress of calcineurin/activated T cell nuclear factor signaling pathway
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(7):1115-1122
BACKGROUND: Periprosthetic osteolysis and subsequent aseptic loosening are most common reasons forrevision after total joint replacements. Recently studies found that calcineurin/activated T cell nuclear factor (CN/NFAT) signaling pathway plays important roles in the pathogenic process of wear-induced inflammation and osteolysis. OBJECTIVE: To summarize CN/NFAT effects on wear particles-induced osteolysis, and to provide new ideas and newtheories for osteolysis-related diseases. METHODS: We retrieved PubMed for studies published from January 1980 to June 2016. The key words were CN/NFAT, CN/NFAT signaling pathways, wear particles, osteolysis, osteoclasts, osteoblast. Finally, 72 studies were analyzed and explored according to inclusion and exclusion criteria.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The pathogenesis of osteolysis involves the activation of macrophages by wear particles and the release of various proinflammatory cytokines. Bone is continuously renewed through a dynamic balance between bone resorption and formation and is the fundamental basis for maintaining normal bone mass andarchitecture by osteoclasts and osteoblasts. In this process, CN/NFAT signaling pathway is the signal transduction pathway involved in the differentiation of Ca2+ and nuclear factor kappa B receptor ligand. Osteoclasts play a significant role in both physiological and pathological bone resorption, and receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand is the key cytokine that induces osteoclastogenesis.
