Objective To study the correlation between isokinetic parameters and modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) in ankle spasticity as-sessment. Methods 18 stroke patients (spasticity group) and 16 healthy subjects (control group) in our hospitals from August 2014 to March 2015 were included. MAS was used to assess the ankle muscular tension. The ankle passive movement of both groups was measured with BIODEX isokinetic motor assessment system under 10 °/s, 60 °/s, 120 °/s, 180 °/s, 240 °/s. The peak torque (PT), peak torque/body weight (PT/BW), average torque (AT), and slopes of the linear regression curve of torque-velocity (SLOPE) were recorded. The correlation of the isokinetic paramenters and the MAS were tested with Spearman correlation analysis. Results The PT, PT/BW and AT were higher in the spasticity group than in the control group (P<0.05). And they increased as the angular velocity increased, and slowed after 120 °/s. The corre-lation coefficient of MAS and PT, PT/BW, AT, SLOPE were from 0.3043 to 0.7632 (P<0.01). Conclusion The isokinetic parameters were speed-dependent and closely related to MAS. 120 °/s was of the highest sensitivity, and the SLOPE under this anglular velocity was highly correlated with MAS.

Objective To find the plantar pressure readings which best indicate foot inversion during the stance phase of walking among hemiplegic stroke survivors. Methods Twenty-two hemiplegic stroke survivors who were able to walk without extra aid were recruited as the experimental group, while 17 healthy elderly men of similar age and body weight were selected as the control group. Those in both groups were asked to walk at their preferred speed over a Footscan device which measured medio-lateral pressure ratios, maximum plantar pressures and the contact areas of both feet. The Clinical Spasticity Index (CSI) was used to evaluate the affected feet. Results The average medial forefoot pressure of the affected side in the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group, but their average mesopodium and heel pressure was significantly higher. The average pressure applied by the great toe on the uninjured side in the experimental group was significantly smaller than that of the control group, but the average mesopodium and heel pressure of both feet among the hemiplegics were significantly higher than those of the control group.Among the experimental group, the average medial forefoot pressure of the affected foot was significantly greater than that of the healthy foot. The average contact area of the great toe on the affected side was significantly bigger than was observed in the control group. That of the medial forefoot was, however, significantly smaller than in the control group. There was no significant difference in the contact area between the healthy and affected feet in the experimental group, though the maxmium medio-lateral pressure ratios of their full feet and forefeet on the affected side were significantly lower than those in the healthy group. No significant differences in the maxmium medio-lateral pressure ratios of the heel were observed between the two groups, nor of the full feet, forefeet and heels of the affected and unaffected sides in the experimental group. The patients demonstrated consistently reduced joint mobility on both sides during the stance phase, coinciding with increased inversion.A significant negative correlation was found between the maxmium medio-lateral pressure ratios of the full foot and the maximum pressure of the lateral part of forefoot in the experimental group, but there was no significant correlation with contact area or CSI.Conclusions Plantar pressure data can be used to describe the amount of foot inversion in the stance phase of walking with hemiplegic patients after stroke. The maxmium medio-lateral pressure ratios can effectively reflect their foot inversion.

Objective To analyze the correlative differences in the cardiac surgery for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and non-nephropathy disease, and explore the cardiac perioperative nursing for patients with ESRD. Methods A single-center retrospective comparative analysis was conducted in patients with ESRD (ESRD group, 26 cases) and non-nephropathy disease (control group, 26 cases) treated with cardiac surgery from January 2004 to December 2016 in Peking University First Hospital. Postoperative laboratory indexes, the changes of indexes in the monitoring room and the blood transfusion were compared between two groups. Results At 0, 1 and 2 d after the surgery, hemoglobin levels of patients in ESRD group were significantly lower than those in the control group; creatinine and urea nitrogen levels in ESRD group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P< 0.01). Postoperative serum potassium levels in ESRD group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.01). The amount of erythrocyte and platelet transfusion in ESRD group were higher than those of control group (P<0.01). There was no statistically significant difference between the ESRD group and the control group in the ventilator time, 24-hour pleural drainage and total thoracic drainage (P> 0.05). The duration of stay in ICU and postoperative hospital stay were (101.62±49.10) h and (28.23±20.44) d in the ESRD group, which were significantly longer than those in the control group [(71.35±33.10) h, (16.58±8.43) d]. Conclusions ESRD patients have a higher risk in the cardiac surgery when compared with patients with non-nephropathy disease. Therefore, nurses should pay attention to the perioperative electrolyte balance and infusion of blood products, as well as the prevention of postoperative complications and psychological nursing, to help patients with better prognosis.

Methods:
From March to June 2021, a convenience sampling method was used to recruit 46 college students from a university in Nanjing for intervention project. There were 23 students in intervention group and control group, respectively. The intervention was conducted for 2.5 hours per week across a 6 week period. The intervention group received two sessions of group counseling that incorporated teadrinking experience, and the sessions involved tea knowledge explanation, observation and learning, embodied experience, emotional expression, interpersonal assistance and emotional support, cultural customs and life integration. After the intervention was completed, the control group received onetime group counseling that integrated teadrinking. The Wilcoxon difference test and Mann-Whitney U test were performed to compare the scores of each scale within and between the groups, and the χ2 test was used to compare the detection rates.
Results:
There were no statistically significant differences in the scores of positive coping, negative coping, selfesteem, social avoidance and distress between the intervention group and the control group (Z=-1.20, -0.33, -0.35, 1.31,P>0.05). There were statistically significant differences in positive coping styles, selfesteem, social avoidance and distress between the intervention group and the control group after the intervention(27.70±5.60,22.05±4.30;30.52±3.63,28.27±4.06;7.43±7.38,13.64±6.79) (Z=-3.31, -2.10, 3.22, P<0.05). The intervention group showed statistically significant differences in social avoidance and distress scores before and after the intervention(11.96±7.47,7.43±7.38) (Z=-2.88), and the depression detection rate decreased(60.9%,30.4%) (χ2=4.29) (P<0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in positive coping, negative coping, selfesteem, social avoidance and distress scores, and depression detection rate between the control group before and after the intervention (Z/χ2=-0.28, -0.42, -1.24, -1.25;1.39, P>0.05). The followup results 1year later showed that there was a statistically significant difference in social avoidance and distress(6.57±6.21,14.16±9.22), and in the detection rates of depression(21.7%,52.2%) between the intervention group and the control group (Z/χ2=2.70,4.57,P<0.05).
Conclusions
Group counseling integrating teadrinking could improve interpersonal relationships, emotional states, selfesteem levels and coping strategies among college students. Group psychological counseling that incorporates teadrinking can be adopted to improve the mental health status of college students.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2019;25(3):360-362
Objective? To explore the differences between communication demands of tracheal intubation patients and cognition nurses in intensive care unit (ICU). Methods? We selected 105 tracheal intubation patients after the cardiac surgery and 19 nurses provided nursing for them as subjects at Peking University First Hospital by convenience sampling. All of the patients and nurses were investigated with the communication demands scale of tracheal intubation patients, and the differences between them were compared. Results? The total score of demands of tracheal intubation patients was (99.96±24.93) lower than that (123.11±19.48) of cognition of nurses with a statistical difference (P<0.05). The highest communication demand of patients was the item of "I want to know the time of tube drawing" with (3.33±1.09) for the score ranked fourth in cognition of nurses. The scores of items in demands of love and belonging as well as self-esteem of patients ranked more than the tenth. Conclusions? There are differences between communication demands of tracheal intubation patients and cognition of nurses in ICU especially in physiological needs, safety needs as well as the need of love and belonging. Encouraging patients to express intentions, understanding patients' intentions and avoiding forming the fixed thinking can carry out nursing service better so as to provide the best scientific basis for patients' disease recovery.
