Objective:To study the Clinical efficacy of combined therapy of adenosylcobalamin and transcutaneous eletrical nerve stimulation(TENS)in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia(PHN).Method:Sixty patients with PHN were randomly divided into 3 groups:group A treated with TENS.group B treated with adenosylcobalamin,group C treated with adenosylcobalamin and TENS based on the management of groups A and B.The three groups had all been treated for 10d.Result:In observation,visual analogue scale(VAS)and 5 grade pain scores of group C were lower than those of groups A and B;VAS and 5 grade pain scores differences of group C were higher than those of groups A and B:The effective rate of group C(100%)was higher than that of groups A and B respectively.The differences were significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combined therapy of adenosylcobalamin and TENS is effective for the treatment of PHN and can alleviate pain and improve sleep.

This paper sets out to summarize the literatures based on immobilized enzyme biochromatography and its application in inhibitors screening in the last decade.In order to screen enzyme inhibitors from a mass of compounds in preliminary screening,multi-pore materials with good biocompatibility are used for the supports of immobilizing enzymes,and then the immobilized enzyme reactor applied as the inmobilized enzyme stationary phase in HPLC.Therefore,a technology platform of high throughput screening is gradually established to screen the enzyme inhibitors as new anti-tumor drugs.Here,we briefly summarize the selective methods of supports,immobilization techniques,co-immobilized enzymes system and the screening model.

Objective To explore the effect of narrative therapy on family environment and values in adolescents with emotional disorder.Methods 35 adolescents with emotional disorder and their parents from Affiliated Brain Hospital,Nanjing Medical University were enrolled and treated by narrative therapy.Family environment was assessed using Family Environment Scale-Chinese Version (FES-CV)and was compared between pre-and posttherapy.Results 28 adolescents with emotional disorder and their parents completed therapy.The cohesion,independence,intellectual orientation,active-recreation orientation and organization in FES-CV showed higher scores at post-therapy than at pre-therapy ((6.89 ± 2.56) vs.(4.21 ± 3.21) ; (5.54 ± 1.35) vs.(4.68 ± 1.51) ;(4.75±2.07)vs.(3.50±2.12);(4.07±2.65)vs.(2.50±2.32);(3.68±1.77)vs.(2.50±1.62)respectively).The contradict in FES-CV showed lower scores at post-therapy than at pre-therapy ((2.75 ± 2.44) vs (5.25 ± 2.50)).The values of adolescents with emotional disorder and their parents had a positive change after narrative therapy.Conclusion Narrative therapy is effective on the positive change of FES-CV and values of adolescents with emotional disorder and their parents.

Natural cyclopeptides are hot spots in chemical and pharmaceutical fields because of the wide spreading bio-resources, complex molecular structures and various bioactivities. Bio-producers of cyclopeptides distribute over almost every kingdom from bacteria to plants and animals. Many cyclopeptides contain non-coded amino acids and non-pepditic bonds. Most exciting characteristic of cyclopeptides is a range of interesting bioactivities such as antibiotics gramicidin-S (2), vancomycin (3) and daptomycin (4), immunosuppressive cyclosporin-A (1) and astin-C (8), and anti-tumor aplidine (5), RA-V (6) and RA-VII (7). Compounds 1-4 are being used in clinics; compounds 5-8 are in the stages of clinical trial or as a candidate for drug research. In this review, the progress in chemical and bioactive studies on these important natural bioactive cyclopeptides 1-8 are introduced, mainly including discovery, bioactivity, mechanism, QSAR and synthesis.

Objective To prospectively survey the well-known experts of critical care and endocrine secretion to summarize their experience in treating diabetes mellitus complicated by sepsis for the purpose of providing guidance of theory and practice in making treatment schemes of traditional Chinese medicine for such disease.Methods The questionnaires were designed and submitted to the experts.The statistic analysis was undertook to investigate the rules.Results A total of 30 questionnaires were released and 28 were retrieved.The experts generally believed that eight-principle syndrome differentiation was the most useful method in the syndrome differentiation and treatment of this disease.The heat,stasis and toxin were usually acted as the main pathogenic factors while damp and phlegm commonly act as secondary pathogenic factors.They thought that weak body resistance under the invading of evil was the key mechanisms in the deterioration of the disease and they chose clearing heat,activating blood and detoxication as 3 core treatment principles.Conclusions The summarized opinions from the experts should be act as important reference in treating this disease,but its effectiveness and possibility for further generalization need to be validated in the clinical practice.

【Objective】 To identify and propose blood transfusion suggestions for 3 children suspected to have red blood cell T polyagglutination. 【Methods】 According to the RBC reactions with phytohemagglutinin, adult serum and cord blood serum, aggregation test with polybrene reagent and MN antigen phenotype test were carried out on 3 children to confirm the presence of T polyagglutination. The donor serum with negative or weak reactions was selected by minor cross matching for the 3 children who needed therapeutic plasma exchange(TPE). 【Results】 Three cases of RBC T polyagglutination were caused by bacterial infection, with transient appearance of MN antigen; the samples were reactive to peanut agglutinin, soybean agglutinin, adult serum but nonreactive to cord blood serum, and didn′t aggregate after adding polybrene reagent. After receiving timely TPE, the T polyagglutination gradually disappeared. 【Conclusion】 Some bacteria, such as Streptococcus pneumoniae, may cause polyagglutination of red blood cells. The patients with suspected T polyagglutination should be diagnosed in time. For T polyagglutination patients, the minor matched plasma should be used for avoiding the random plasma with anti-T antibody transfusion.

Objective To study the effect of fluoride exposure on bone growth in zebrafish.Methods The zebrafish larvaes at 3 days post fertilization (3 dpf) were exposed to the conventional fish water and 25,50,100 mg/L of NaF for 5 days until the skeletal bone was formed (8 dpf) and the temperature was kept at 28 ℃.The fluoride content of zebrafish embryos was detected by F-ion selective electrode.The fluoride exposure model was re-established as the control group (0.0 mg/L),the low doses group (0.5,1.0,4.0 mg/L) and the high doses group (50.0,100.0 mg/L).The survival rates of the zebrafish embryos were calculated and the morphology of zebrafish embryos was observed under 40 times microscope.The zebrafish skeleton was stained with alizarin red.The staining areas and the integrated optical density (IOD) of the bone staining were quantitatively analyzed by digital microscope to analyze the sclerotic and osteoporosis of the skull.Results The fluoride contents of the control group and 25,50,100 mg/L NaF groups were (0.32 ± 0.01),(0.63 ± 0.01),(0.86 ± 0.02) and (1.21 ± 0.01) μg/150 embryos.Compared with the control group,the fluoride contents of zebrafish embryos in fluoride exposed groups were increased (P ＜ 0.05),and the dose-response relationship was obvious.The survival rates of zebrafish embryos in control group and fluoride exposed groups were 96.67％,96.67％,96.67％,98.33％,98.33％ and 98.33％.There was no significant difference among different groups (x2 =7.309,P ＞ 0.05);under a 40 times microscope,there were no obvious deformities of the spin in different groups;the areas of the alizarin red staining of the skull were 84 380.51 ± 11 711.41 in the control group,92 592.16 ± 7 143.81,92 164.85 ± 10 136.18 and 95 112.26 ± 13 721.91 in the low doses exposure groups (0.5,1.0,4.0 mg/L NaF),67 778.92 ± 8 597.11 and 64 272.93 ± 9 302.57 in the high doses groups (50.0,100.0 mg/L NaF).The areas of the alizarin red staining of the skull in the low doses exposure groups were significantly higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05),while the high doses exposure groups were lower (P ＜ 0.05);the IOD of the alizarin red staining of the skull was 25 094.13 ± 6 571.86 in the control group,29 754.95 ± 3 836.45,28 747.36 ± 4 677.86 and 30 776.49 ± 5 589.63 in the low doses exposure groups (0.5,1.0,4.0 mg/L NaF),19 263.10 ± 4 754.72 and 18 202.58 ± 4 897.15 in the high doses groups (50.0,100.0 mg/L NaF).The IOD of the alizarin red staining of the skull in the low doses exposure groups was significandy higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05),while the high doses exposure groups was lower (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Low doses of fluoride exposure may cause bone sclerosis in zebrafish embryos,while the high dose of fluoride exposure may cause osteoporosis.

Domestic and foreign literatures related to the persistence of SARS-CoV-2 and the re-positive cases infected with SARS-CoV-2 were reviewed, and the characteristics and infectivity of the re-positive cases were analyzed to provide scientific evidence for the improvement of case management and the development of measures to stop the spread of SARS-CoV-2. Existing studies have shown that re-positive rate of SARS-CoV-2 ranged from 2.4% to 19.8%, the median of interval between re-positive detection and discharge was 4-15 days. Following the second course of the disease, the anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgM, IgG and IgA positive rates of the cases were 11.11%-86.08%, 52.00%-100.00% and 61.54%-100.00% respectively, the total antibody and neutralizing antibody positive rates were 98.72% and 88.46%. The viral load of the re-positive cases was lower than that in the initial infection. At least 3 380 re-positive cases have been reported globally. SARS-CoV-2 strains were isolated from the samples of 3 re-positive cases (1 immunodeficiency case and 2 cases with abnormal pulmonary imaging). There were close contacts that were infected by an asymptomatic case taking immunosuppressive agents. In conclusion, the infectivity of re-positive cases infected with SARS-CoV-2 is generally very low. Rare re-positive cases infected with SARS-CoV-2 might cause further transmission. The management approach for the re-positive cases can be based on the assessment of the individual transmission risk according to the pathogen detection results.

【Objective】 To evaluate the detection and distribution characteristics of anti-P1 in tumor patients, so as to aid in blood screening and transfusion safety. 【Methods】 The clinical data of 112 658 tumor patients who underwent blood preparation and transfusion in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, and column agglutination technique was used to perform transfusion compatibility test. 【Results】 A total of 1 079 (0.96%, 1 079/112 658) cases were detected with unexpected antibodies, of which 71 (6.58%, 71/1 079) were identified as anti-P1. In anti-P1 cases, 59.15% (42/71) were males; 60.56% had no pregnancy history (P<0.01); 29.58% (21/71), 52.11%(37/71), 12.68%(9/71) and 5.63%(4/71) of anti-P1 patients were with type A, B, O and AB, respectively. 57 cases of anti-P1 patients (80.28%) had difficulty in ABO blood group identification. The incidence of interfering in patients with type B was higher than that of other blood types (P<0.05), as the frequency of w+ in reverse blood typing was higher than other reactive patterns (P<0.05). The incidence of gastric tumor and brain space-occupying lesion in patients with anti-P1 was higher than that in patients with other alloantibodies, while the incidence of gynecological tumors was lower (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Anti-P1 affects the ABO blood group identification of tumor patients, and most of them had difficulty in ABO blood group identification. Compared with patients with other alloantibodies, patients with anti-P1 are more likely to be male and suffer from gastric and brain tumors, but less likely from gynecological tumors.
