1.Thrombolysis for acute lower limb arterial embolism in patients with recent cerebral embolism
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To assess the feasibility and efficacy of catheter-directed thrombolysis with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(rt-PA)for acute limb embolism in patients with recent cerebral embolism. Methods Eight patients with atrial fibrillation history happened to suffer acute limb embolism after recent cerebral embolism. The affected arteries included 2 left common iliac arteries,4 femoral arteries(3 left,1 right),2 right popliteal arteries.Catheter-directed thrombolysis with rt-PA was applied with bolus administration plus continuous perfusion.Percutanous transluminal angioplasty with balloon dilatation was applied in 3 patients, and one stent placement in one patient. Results The mean duration of continous perfusion was 3.6 hours and the mean dose of rt-PA administered was 23.6 mg(range,20 ~ 28 mg)with complete recanalization rate of 100%.Clinical complete relief rate was 7/8 with one patient suffering from rest pain due to distal occlusion of anterior/posterior tibial artery. The complications included hematoma at puncture site(6/8),bleeding around the vascular sheath(2/8)and hematuria(1/8).No intracerebral hemorrhage was found on CT scans after the thrombolysis.During follow up of 3-6 months,no recurrent embolism or thrombosis occurred in the limbs except one patient with recurrent cerebral embolism and died. Conclusions Catheter-directed thrombolysis with rt-PA is probably to be a safe and effective method for acute limb embolism in patients with recent cerebral embolism and atrial fibrillation history.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(9):1175-1176
Objective To observe the effect of Huahongjiangxiantang on hemorheology and plasma fibrinogen (FIB).Methods 100 patients with hypertension were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group ( n=50) which were treated with Huahongjiangxian-tang,and the control group( n=50)were treated with Aspirin.Hemorheology and plasma fibrin were detected before and after treatment for 8 weeks. Results After 8 weeks treatment, there were significant depressions in whole blood viscosity(low shear rate),RBC deformability index and RBC aggregation index( P<0.01 ),and better than the control group( P <0.05 ).There were significant changes in whole blood viscosity ( high shear rate),plasma viscosity,RBC rigidity index and plasma fibrin ( P < 0.05 ).A number of indicators declined significantly in control group ( P < 0.05 );The rate of platelet aggregation to improve the situation in the control group was better than that of the treatment group, but there was no statistical significance. Conclusion Huahongjiangxiantang can effectively reduce blood viscosity in patients with hypertension and improve the body's red blood cell function and fibrinolysis, benefit to the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and reduce the occurrence of thrombotic events.

The standard treatment mode of locally advanced prostate cancer is still controversial. With the progress of medical technology, treatments of prostate cancer achieve different progresses in surgical treatment, radiotherapy and endocrine therapy. The three treatment modes have diverse tumor growth control rate and survival period, which have different complications and different influences on the quality of life.

[Objective]To establish a method to determine the contents of glucase and fructose in extracts of leaves of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. using HPLC-ELSD, and apply this method to study the content change of glucose and fructose in different solvents extracts in leaves of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. [Methods] The chromatographic separation was achieved on Lichrospher NH2 column using a mobile phase composed of a mixture of acetonitrile and water(90:10) at a flow rate of 0.8mL·min-1 and the column temperature was 25℃.The ELSD drift tube temperature was set at 70℃ and the carrying gas was N2 and the flow rate of the gas was 1.6L·min-1. [Results] Glucose and fructose from extracts of the leaves of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. could be wel separated, and the linearity ranges of glucose and fructose were shown at the concentration of 0.5840~1.168mg·mL-1 and 0.8256~1.8576mg·mL-1, the average recovery rate of glucose and fructose were 96.88%(RSD=1.11%) and 97.55%(RSD=1.15%), the stability of glucose and fructose was 2.12%and 0.38%, and the repeatability was 1.31% and 0.24%. Among the water extract,50% alcohol extract and 95% alcohol extract, the content of the glucose and fructose in the water extract was highest, which was 2.19mg·mL and 4.10mg·mL-1, the 50% alcohol extract was second, which was 1.13mg·mL-1 and 2.12mg·mL-1, and the 95% alcohol extract was lowest, which was 0.45mg·mL-1 and 0.65mg·mL-1.[Conclusion] The method is simple, accurate and has good repeatability, and can be used to determine the contents of glucose and fructose in the extract of leaves of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq. In this batch of leaves of Lonicera hypoglauca Miq., the contents of fructose and glucose were of water extract>50%ethanol extract>95%ethanol extract.

Chinese Journal of Veterinary Science 2009;29(7):826-829
The levels of the antibody response against, classic swine fever (CSF) vaccine were measured by blocking ELISA at different time for pigs vaccinated with CSF vaccine (CSFV group,n= 3),pigs inoculated with porcine eircovirus type 2 (PCV2) and with CSF vaccine two weeks later (when PCV2 viremia was detected by PCR,PCV2/CSFV group,n=3),or inoculated with both CSF vaccine and PCV2 at the same time (CSFV/PCV2 group,n=3),respectively.And distribution of genome or antibodies specific to PCV2 of the PCV2 infection group,PCV2/CSFV group and CSFV/PCV2 group were also detected by indirect ELISA or PCR,respectively. The results showed that experimental infection of PCV2 was successful. In pigs inoculated with both PCV2 and CSF vaccine, the antibody response to CSF vaccine was significantly lower than that of animals treated with CSF vaccine vaccination alone at 52 days postinoculation (DPI).The average titers of antibodies against CSFV in animals of CSFV group were obviously higher than those of the PCV2/CSFV or CSFV/PCV2 group at 49 and 52DPI,respectively.The positive rate of antibodies against CSFV in pigs of CSFV group was 100% in comparison with that of animals inoculated with PCV2 and the vaccine (only 67%).The results suggested that the infection of PCV2 could suppress the antibody response to classical swine fever vaccine.

Objective:To explore the effect of argatroban combined with Kallikrein on progressive cerebral infarction. Methods: One hundred and fifty two progressive cerebral infarction patients were randomized into groups observation (n=76) and control (n=76). Observation group were given treatment ofargatroban and Kallikrein, control only Kallikrein. NIHSS scores, Barthel index, Modified Rankin Scales(MRS) were used to evaluate the efficacy in two groups. Results: The difference of the effect was significant in two groups(x2=11.463,P>0.05).In both of the two groups, NIHSS scores were decreased, there was significant difference between the two groups (t=1.501,t=1.844,t=1.341;P<0.05). The Barthel index in argatroban combined Kallikrein group was higher than Kallikrein group, Modified Rankin Scales was lower than Kallikrein group, and there was significant difference between the two groups (t=2.121,t=2.332,t=2.219;P<0.05). The observation group and the control group patients don''t have bleeding gums, subcutaneous bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding and other adverse reactions. Conclusion: Argatroban combined with Kallikrein, improve the neurologic impairment symptoms, clinical effect, improve the life quality of the patients, of a relatively good effect in treatment of progressive cerebral infarction, can improve obviously the cognitive ability and neural function and patients, activities of daily living. Moreover, its security and tolerability are good.
