Vascular hyperpermeability is a cardinal feature of inflammation or burn in which an array of inflammatory mediators can cause such changes in the microvessels. The functional measures of microvascular exchange that represent the properties of microvascular walls are the permeability coefficients which have been reported from measurements on intact whole organisms (including human subjects), on perfused tissues and organs, on single perfused microvessels, and on monolayers of cultured microvascular endothelial cells. In this review, we summarize some experiments of vascular permeability in individually isolated perfused microvessels. [

Objective To observe the injury of myocardium and to investigate the role of oxidative stress after limbs ischemia reperfusion in rats. Methods 20 male healthy Wistar rats were randomly divided into 2 groups: control group(C) and ischemia-reperfusion group (IR). The biochemical methods were used to measure the contents of malondialdehyde (MDA), myeloperoxidase (MPO), ATP, lactic acid (LD) and ATPase of myocardium. The levels of creatine kinase (CK) and creatine kinase MB isoenzyme (CK-MB) in plasma were also observed. The morphologic changes of myocardium were observed with microscope. Objective: To screen out serum protein profiling of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) by surface - enhancedlaser desorption/ ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF MS) for discovering the discriminatory proteins. Methods: Thirty one women with PCOS and thirty healthy women were detected by Weak Cation Exchange(WCX2)chip. ProteinChip reader and Biomarker Wizard software from Ciphergen Inc were combined with a bioinformatics method (support vector machines, SVM ) to analyze protein fingerprinting. Results: There were 4 proteins which were obviously different between the PCOS group and the control. Three of them were up-regulated, and one down-regulated. To set up a analysis model by SVM using the 4 proteins could successfully distinguish between PCOS and the normal control. The corresponding sensitivity, specificity and positive predict value were 86.7%, 83.3%, 87.2%, resectively. Conclusion: Using ProteinChip technology can screen out serum discriminatory proteins quickly and efficiently. Combined with SVM, an optimal fingerprinting model has been set up, which can easily predict PCOS. In disease state of PCOS, there are significant variations which consist of four proteins. To investigate those four discriminatory proteins, especially the protein m/z 6 628 may be of benefit to pathogenic study and the development of biomarkers for PCOS.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of bedside echocardiography in full term infants in NICU.Methods The bedside echocardiography was performed for 313 full term infants,and then they were ana-lyzed.Results The main clinical characteristics of totally 313 cases of neonates were tachypnea,heart murmur and cyanosis.Patent foramen ovale and patent ductus arteriosus were common in the no cyanotic blood shunt,no cyanotic congenital heart disease(CHD)was mainly made of atrial septum defect(31 cases),followed by ventricular septal defect (20 cases).Cyanotic CHD was made of pulmonary atresia(6 cases),complete transposition of great artery (5 cases),tetralogy of fallot(5 cases),total anomalous pulmonary venous drainage(5 cases).Tricuspid regurgitation was common in abnormal blood flow,moderate to severe pulmonary hypertension was common for full term infants. Conclusion There were many abnormal echocardiography examination results,and atypical noise was common in neonatal CHD,routine examination of bedside echocardiography for full term infants in NICU was important for early detection of CHD and may help treatment timely to improve the prognosis.

Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of endoscopic multi-band mucosectomy (EMBM) in the treatment of early esophageal cancer and intraepithelial neoplasia.Methods A retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of 34 cases diagnosed with early esophageal cancer and intraepithelial neoplasia.All the patients accepted EMBM.The therapeutic effects and safety were summarized.Results A total of 34 patients with 36 lesions were successfully completed in the treatment of one session.The entire biopsy specimen was tested by pathological examination.High-grade intraepithelial neoplasia in 24 lesions,low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia in 4 lesions,intramucosal cancer in 6 lesions,a submucosal shallow cancer and a submucosal deep cancer were diagnosed.Clamps electric coagulation hemostasis was used during the operation in 2 bleeding cases.No delayed postoperative bleeding,subcutaneous emphysema and esophageal perforation happened.Two cases appeared esophageal stenosis after EMBM.Bougienage were used to relieve dysphagia.One case confirmed with deep submucosal lymphovascular invasion accepted surgery later in department of thoracic surgery.No local recurrence and metastasis were found in the other 33 cases during the 6-24 months of follow-up time.Conclusions EMBM is a minimally invasive,safe and effective method for the treatment of early esophageal cancer and intraepithelial neoplasia.EMBM is worthy of promotion.

Total glucosides of paeony ( TGP ) , an extract of Paeonia Lacti-flora Pall were investigated for its effect on the synthesis of leukotriene B_4 ( LTB_4 ) by peritoneal macrophages ( PM?). LTB4, generated by 10~9~15 ? 10~10/L PM? with ionophore A_23187 , were measured with RP-HPLC. Suppression of releasing LTB_4 from PM? by TGP ( 100 mg/L ) was as much as the same dose of Flufenamic acid, but the action of TGP was slower. TGP significantly inhibited the synthesis of LTB_4 by PM? in a dose-dependent manner. The concentration of TGP required to obtain 50% inhibition ( IC_50 ) of formation of LTB_4 was 0.66mg/L. The data suggested antiinflam-matory and immunomodulatory action of TGP were related to its suppression of releasing LTB_4

Objective To approach effect of Yiqihuoxue decoction on remnant stomach paralysis syndrome after subtotal gastrectomy. Methods A total of 44 patient of remnant stomach paralysis syndrome were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group, with 22 patients in each group. The control group was treated with TPN parenteral alimentation. On this basis, the treatment group was treated with Yiqihuoxue decoction and mental intervention. The clinical effects were observed in both groups after the treatment. Results The total effective rate was 54.55% and 100% in the control group and the treatment group respectively, showing statistic difference(P=0.00625 ＜0.01).Conclusion It was effective to treat remnant stomach paralysis syndrome with Yiqihuoxue decoction, TPN parenteral nutrition and mental intervention.

ObjectiveTo analyze the complaints of outpatient of Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciencse, discuss the countermeasures to alleviate the contradiction and promote the normalization of the relationship between doctors and patients.Methods Based on analysis of outpatient complaints from Jan. 2008 to Dec. 2012 in our hospital, statistics and classification data were obtained from the aspects of service attitude, medical errors, process and communication.ResultsOutpatient amount of our hospital form Jan. 2008 to Dec. 2012 was 10.55 million. There were 1426 outpatient complaints (service attitudes 24.2%, medical errors 11.5%, process 40.3%, and communication 24%), etc. Complaints rate was 0.135‰ and satisfaction degree of dealing with complaints was 99.3%.Conclusion Through active service, the complaints of outpatients has been reduced, and diagnostic and treatment quality and satisfactory degree have been increased of our hospital.

Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect ofShengji-Yuhong ointment in the treatment of patients with pressure ulcer.Methods 86 patients of pressure ulcer were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 43 cases in each. After debridement, the wound was covered with vaseline gauze in the control group, whileShengji-Yuhong ointment in the treatment group. 10 days constituted 1 course of treatment, and both groups were treated for 3 courses. The blood supply of the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, erythrocyte aggregation index detection; white blood cell count (WBC), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and C reactive protein (CRP) were observed in order to observe the control condition of the patients with wound infection.Results The total effective rate was 95.3% (41/43) and 74.4% (32/43) in the observation group and control group respectively, with significant difference between two groups (χ2=5.800,P=0.016). After treatment, the whole blood viscosity (high-shea) (4.06 ± 1.38 mPa?svs. 4.74 ± 1.62 mPa?s,t=2.095), the whole blood viscosity (medium-shea) (3.71 ± 1.22 mPa?svs. 4.34 ± 1.41 mPa?s,t =2.216), blood reduction viscosity (1.13 ± 0.22 mPa?svs.1.44 ± 0.51 mPa?s,t=3.660), the whole blood viscosity (medium-shea) (4.16 ± 0.48 mPa?svs. 4.51 ± 0.89 mPa?s,t=2.270) obviously compared with group before treatment decreased (P<0.05). The patients in the observation group in the whole blood viscosity (medium-shea) (3.71 ± 1.22 mPa?svs. 4.16 ± 0.48 mPa?s,t=2.251), and blood reduction viscosity (1.13 ± 0.22 mPa?svs. 1.32 + 0.31 mPa?s,t=3.278) in the observation group were  obvious better than the control group (P<0.05). After the treatment the WBC, CRP, ESR in the observation group were decreased significantly than the control group (t=5.947, 7.198, 12.064,P<0.01).ConclusionShengji-Yuhong ointment can effectively control the PU infection in the wound, improve wound tissue under the blood circulation, and promote wound healing.
