Objective To detect the quantity of Th17 cells and expressions of related cytokines including interleukin (IL)-17 and IL-22, in peripheral blood and skin lesions of patients with psoriasis vulgaris, and to analyze their correlation with disease severity and clinical course. Methods Peripheral blood was obtained from 44 patients with progressive psoriasis vulgaris and 28 normal human controls. Three-color flow cytometry was carried out to detect the quantity of Th17 cells, and ELISA to examine the levels of serum IL-17 and -22.Skin samples were obtained from 20 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 8 normal human controls, and a quantum dot-based double labled immumofluorescence method was used to determine the quantity of Th17 cells. Results The percentage of peripheral blood Th17 cells was higher in patients with psoriasis vulgaris than in normal human controls (4.71% ± 2.55% vs. 0.55% ± 0.39%, P < 0.01 ). Elevated expressions of IL-17 and IL-22 were noted in the patients compared with the normal human controls (24.02 ± 12.31 ng/L vs. 7.16 ±4.04 ng/L, P < 0.05; 18.32 ± 8.14 ng/L vs. 6.52 ± 4.15 ng/L, P < 0.01 ). The percentage of peripheral blood Th17 cells and serum levels of IL-17 and IL-22 were positively correlated with psoriasis area and severity index (r= 0.53, 0.47, 0.53, respectively, all P < 0.01 ), but unrelated to the clinical course of psoriasis (r = 0.09,0.03, 0.19, respectively, all P > 0.05). There was an infiltrate of Th17 cells in psoriatic lesions, which was mainly distributed around the blood vessels in superficial dermis, whereas there were only a small number of CD4+ T cells in the normal control skin with the absence of Th17 cells. Conclusions Th17 cells are involved in the development of psoriasis, and Th17 cell-secreted cytokines, such as IL-17 and IL-22, may serve as a new therapeutic target for psoriasis.

Objective To construct Fisher discrminant functions with index of ultrasonography. Methods A total of 48 non-neoplastic ovarian cysts, 137 benign and 120 malignant ovarian tumors were enrolled in this study. Taking ultrasonographic parameters and Doppler blood flow signals as differential diagnosis variable, a diagnosis model was developed using stepwise discriminant analysis. Then a projection and territorial map were drew and the diagnostic ability of the model was verified with substitution method and jackknife. Results ①Univariate analysis indicated that ovarian cysts volume, end-diastolic blood flow velocity (V_(ED)), mean blood flow velocity (V_m), resistance index (RI), pulse index (PI), physical property, echo, shape, boundary, ascites and blood flow signal have statistical difference among the three kinds of ovarian cysts. ②Stepwise discriminant analysis showed that volume, resistance index, physical property, shape and boundary are the independent prognostic variables. The two Fisher discriminant functions were as following: Function 1=0.002volume-4.793 RI+0.468physical property+0.862shape+0.901boundary-4.076, Function 2=0.005volume-1.480 RI+0.851physical property-0.291shape+0.443boundary+0.524. ③The projective positions of three kinds of ovarian cysts at 2D coordinates were clear. ④The sensibility and specificity of mode for diagnosis non-neoplastic ovarian cysts, benign and malignant ovarian tumors was 91.67%, 88.32% and 93.33% with substitution method, and was 91.67%, 86.13% and 93.33% with jackknife method. Conclusion Cysts volume, RI, physical property, shape and boundary are the significant differential prognostic variables. Fisher discriminant analysis can provide a reliable prognostic model for ovarian cysts.

Objective:
To investigate the clinical value of serum adiponectin in patients with preeclampsia and its relationship with insulin resistance.
Methods:
From May 2017 to May 2018, 80 cases of preeclampsia diagnosed and treated in obstetrics department of the Second People′s Hospital of Liaocheng were selected in the research.According to the severity of the disease, they were divided into severe preeclampsia group and mild preeclampsia group, with 40 cases in each group, and 40 healthy pregnant women in the same period were selected as the control group. The serum adiponectin level and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) were detected and compared among the groups, and the correlation between them was analyzed.
Results:
The serum adiponectin and HOMA-IR in the severe preeclampsia group were (5.08 ±1.13)mg/L, (3.08 ±1.54), respectively, which in the mild preeclampsia group were (6.55±1.46)mg/L, (2.62±1.34), respectively, which in the control group were (11.67±3.53)mg/L, (1.13±0.53), respectively.there were statistically significant difference among the three groups (all

Objective:To investigate the effect of anoxic cold environment at 4500 m altitude on female men-struation.Methods:From March 1 to March 20,2023,women in a unit at an altitude of 4500 meters were selected for reproductive health questionnaire survey, and were divided into≤6 months group,6 months to 12 months group and≥12 months group according to altitude exposure time. The changes of menstruation in each group were analyzed to explore the relevant influencing factors. Results:The total incidence of abnormal menstruation in working women in hypoxic cold environment was as high as 66.14%,and there was no statistically significant difference between the groups at different high-altitude exposure times(P>0.05).The highest incidence of dys-menorrhea among the types of menstrual changes was 61.90%,but there was no statistically significant differ-ence between the groups at different high altitude exposure times(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)in the proportion of insufficient sleep for at least 3 days per week, nervousness and anxiety, and training during their menstrual period in the women who experienced changes in their menstrual cycle com-pared to those who did not. Conclusions:Hypoxic cold environment can lead to the change of female menstrua-tion,and it is combined with sleep deficiency, tension and anxiety, and menstrual exercise.
