OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for drug production, parchase and use in local governments, health care depart-ment,hospitals,manufacturers and sales enterprises, etc. METHODS:By consumption sum sorting method, the information of 14 categories and key types in 34 hospitals from Chongqing area during 2012-2014 were analyzed statistically such as sales,produc-tion manufacturers. RESULTS:The consumption sum of 34 hospitals from Chongqing area increased by 15%-17% during 2012-2014. The consumption sum and proportion of anti-infective drugs showed a downward trend, decreasing by 3.28%. Those of respi-ratory system drugs and anti-tumor drugs had the largest increase, with increasing rate of 79.01% and 69.39%,respectively. Do-mestic drugs accounted for about 73% market share, and sales of imported drugs increased more than domestic and joint-stock drugs, increasing by 40.17%. Among 6 Chongqing pharmaceutical manufacturers on the top 100 consumption sum shortlist, total consumption sum of 3 manufacturers had increased;the consumption sum of top 10 foreign pharmaceutical manufactures increased year by year. CONCLUSIONS:The consumption sum of drugs is increasing in Chongqing area. Anti-infective drugs accounted for less than 16%,which is the achievements of clinical application of antibiotics special rectification activities for 3 years. Both respi-ratory system disease and malignant tumor have high incidence in Chongqing area. Domestic drugs still are main types in hospital. Foreign manufacturers develop well in China, but Chongqing pharmaceutical manufacturers show unsatisfactory development pros-pect.

Objective To provide the utilization information of drugs in Chongqing ,which has been analyzed the statistical data from 18 Chongqing medical organizations'sales volume from 2005 to 2007. Methods We have investigated and graded the sum of the drug purchasing money, the significant medical varieties, and the pharmaceutical manufactories to analyze the latest situation during this three years. Results According to the analysis, the sales number was increasing at a rate of about 20% per year. Water, heat and balance of electrolyte were the most positive rate increased (106.85%). However, the vitamin sell was the negative one dropping down at the rate of 10.47%. In addition, there was only three pharmaceutical companies in Chongqing ranked top 100. Conclusion To predict the future of the drug purchasing money will still rise successively. Nevertheless,it is influenced by rectifying the domestic medicine market so that Chongqing pharmaceutical enterprises are developing slowly without new varieties of drugs being produced.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs) on bone mineral density (BMD) of spinal cord injuried (SCI) patients. MethodsThe PEMFs group was composed of 12 SCI patients received regular PEMFs treatment as the treatment group, 12 SCI patients treated without PEMFs were as the control group.BMD of total proximal femur, Ward's trigonum and great trochanter of all patients were detected by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry before and after treatment.ResultsBMDs of total proximal femur and great trochanter of patients of the treatment group were a little increased after PEMFs treatment, with no significant difference (P>0.05), but BMD change was significantly different compared with the control group (P<0.05~0.01).ConclusionPEMFs treatment along with routine exercise may help to reduce the loss of bone after SCI.

Objective To study the genetic polymorphism of 20 autosomal short tandem repeats(STR)loci in Yunnan Han population. Methods The 20 STR loci(D3S1358,D1S1656,D6S1043,D13S317,Penta E,D16S539,D18S51,D2S1338,CSF1PO,Penta D,TH01,vWA,D21S11,D7S820,D5S818,TPOX, D8S1179,D12S391,D19S433 and FGA)which were included in the PowerPlexR21 System kit were genotyped in 1085 unrelated Han individuals living in Yunnan province using multiplex amplication. PCR products were separated and analyzed by the AB 3130 automatic genetic analyzer and GeneMapper ID v3.2 software. Forensic parameters of each locus were calculated by Modified-Powerstates software. Results All the studied loci except for TH01 and TPOX were highly polymorphic. The observed heterozygosity(Ho)ranged from 0.6130 to 0.8743. Match probability(PM)ranged from 0.0179 to 0.2030. Power of discrimination(DP)ranged from 0.7970 to 0.9821. Probability of exclusion(PE)ranged from 0.3067 to 0.7432. Paternity index(PI)ranged from 1.2919 to 3.9766. Polymorphism information content(PIC)ranged from 0.5598 to 0.8958. No deviation of the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium was observed. Conclusion The studied 20 STR loci were highly polymorphic in Yunnan Han population and could be used in forensic individual identification and paternity testing practice.

Journal of Breast Cancer 2015;18(4):313-322
PURPOSE: To date, studies investigating the association between dairy consumption and breast cancer in women have produced conflicting results. As diet is an important, modifiable factor affecting cancer development, the aim of this study was to examine the association between dairy consumption and breast cancer risk. METHODS: PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases were searched with a priority for prospective cohort studies. Case-control studies were also considered in case of the absence of a cohort study. RESULTS: We analyzed 22 prospective cohort studies (1,566,940 participants) and five case-control studies (33,372 participants). High and modest dairy consumption (>600 and 400-600 g/day, respectively) significantly reduced the risk of breast cancer compared with low dairy consumption (<400 g/day; risk ratio [RR], 0.90, 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.83-0.98, and RR, 0.94, 95% CI, 0.91-0.98, respectively). A significant linear relationship between dairy consumption and breast cancer risk was found on dose-response analysis. Subgroup analysis found that yogurt (RR, 0.91; 95% CI, 0.83-0.99) and low-fat dairy (RR, 0.85; 95% CI, 0.75-0.96) reduced the risk of breast cancer, while other dairy product types did not. A reduced risk was observed for people in the United States (RR, 0.91; 95% CI, 0.83-0.99) and in those followed for > or =10 years (RR, 0.90; 95% CI, 0.81-0.99). Additionally, the highest level of dairy consumption among Asians was associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer (odds ratio, 0.74; 95% CI, 0.62-0.88). CONCLUSION: Dairy consumption was inversely associated with the risk of developing breast cancer and this effect was dependent on the dose, dairy-type, and time.

Objective To explore the association of interleukin (IL)-1 genotypes with Alzheimer′s disease (AD). Methods Using polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism, the IL-1A (-889) and IL-1B (+3953) genotypes in 84 cases of AD and 139 controls were detected and analyzed. Results The frequencies of IL-1A(- 889) C/C, C/T and T/T genotypes were 72.6% and 84.2%, 23.8% and 14.4%, 3.6% and 1.4% in AD cases and controls respectively. The genotypes frequencies of IL-1A (-889) C/C, C/T and T/T in AD cases were similar to that of controls (χ2=4.53, P>0.05), but the frequencies of IL-1A (-889) T allele were significantly higher in AD cases than in controls (15.5% vs. 8.6%, χ2=4.93, P<0.05). The frequencies of IL-1B (+3953) C/T genotypes and T allele were also significantly higher in AD cases than in controls (16.7% vs. 6.5%, 8.3% vs. 3.2%, χ2=5.88,5.56, both P<0.05). Conclusions IL-1 genotypes are associated with AD. IL-1 genotypes may play an important role in the development of AD.
